Late Friday afternoon...

Your mind was anxious while you were getting ready for the party, that message Adrien sent you made you very restless.

You wanted to occupy your mind anyway and went to Felix's house a little early to see if you could help with anything. But when you arrived there were already too many people helping with the preparations for the party.

Your eyes lit up with so much surprise that you were left with the amount of food that was on the table, there were waiters everywhere finishing the preparations and outside in the backyard by the pool, there was a chef preparing meat for a barbecue.

"Are you so looking forward to the party, dear? You're pretty early." Felix glanced at the watch on his wrist closing the entrance door behind you.

"Don't you think this is too much for a little celebration between our classmates?" You asked as you watched the waiters all over the place.

"But it's not just our classmates coming, the whole school is coming." You looked at him in disbelief.

"The whole school?! But why would you invite everyone?" Felix was so charismatic these days, it gave you the creeps.

What's he up to?

"To relax. You need to relax a little. And I'm following your advice to 'open up' more with people..." Felix wrinkled his nose. "That seemed less silly in my mind." he said to himself.

"Hmm I see. But what's up with these waiters? They're adults... It won't be a problem if they see us drink alcohol?" You whispered worriedly.

"Of course not. I'm the boss." He winked at you mischievously.

"You're not even afraid to break the rules." You shook your head in disbelief holding back a giggle.

"What would be the fun of living without breaking the rules?" He smirked.

This rule-breaking talk made you remember when a naughty cat visited you, ending with those lonely nights.

You shook your head trying to push those memories away because you couldn't cry right now. Then you watched the setup people carry speakers out and others handle the lighting.

You sat on the couch sighing and occupied your mind talking to Felix about the infamous times you two tormented each other in middle school until finally the sun went down and it was time for him to receive guests.

"Woohoo party here we go!" Nino walked in dragging a Cooler along with Kim. Alya and Marinette followed close behind.

They had the same reaction you had when you walked in.

"Oh man! What a cool pool!" Kim said with shining eyes, Felix gestured for them to make themselves at home.

"You don't mind that I brought alcohol, right?" Nino rubbed the back of his neck whispering to the blonde.

"Are you kidding? It wouldn't be any fun without alcohol. Out in the backyard, there are bartenders with all-you-can-eat drinks." Felix called someone to take the Cooler to the bartenders outside.

"Dude you are so cool. This party is going to rock." Nino raised his hand to high five with the blonde who followed his move a little clumsy.

You held back the urge to laugh, Felix wasn't in his natural state today. Marinette and Alya walked over to you and gave you a hug and you sat down on the couch to catch up.

"Tell me (Y/n), is this the same serious Felix we see in class every day? He seems so sociable now." Alya commented as he went to welcome guests.

"Believe me, even I'm not understanding anything. But the real news is that Adrien is back! And I saw the way Marinette looked at him." You smirked. Deep down you were fretting about having to keep so many secrets at once.

"I wasn't..." She looked away, flushed. "But you're right... I'm really glad he's back. I know he likes another girl so believe me, I'm done with it." She said with a sad smile.

"It's been a long time. We need to investigate to see if he's dating." Alya smirked and gave you a slight nudge. "Just like the old days, isn't it, (Y/n)?" She chuckled. You forced a smile by nodding your head in agreement.

How much pressure...

And to think that before I moved here, they secretly liked each other.

I need a drink.

Before you get up to go get a specifically alcoholic drink, waiters pass you by offering appetizers and cocktails.

You took two drinks at once and the girls laughed taking only snacks for now.

While you were talking, little by little people started arriving, Juleka, Rose, Luka and Nino took the place of the DJ to play some more original songs.

There were also students from other classes that you didn't know, most were in the backyard dancing in front of the mini stage where the band played.

You were finishing your second drink when you saw Adrien enter along with Kagami and greet Felix who was in a conversation with people you didn't know.

Adrien looked around and as soon as their eyes met he smiled and nodded towards the end of the empty hallway.

You told the girls you were going to get one more drink and they said they'd wait for you in the backyard by the stage.

You pass through the crowd and follow the blonde down the hall, the two of you enter a room that appears to be used for cleaning supplies.

As soon as you close the door behind you, you go to him and give him a long hug.

"What did you want to tell me baby? Seems to be very serious. You hardly spoke to me these days." You snuggled your face against his chest in order to kill the longing, he hugged you back giving you comforting pats on your back.

Bad sign...

"Forgive me, (Y/n), I needed some time to think and I realized that I can't give you the kind of love you deserve. Right from the start..." You walked away from him not believing his words but when you looked deep into his eyes there was not a glint of amusement or play.

"What? What do you mean? Are you breaking up with me? Is your father putting so much pressure on you like that?!" You feel your heart break and you lower your head in disappointment.

You somehow knew this was going to happen but what you didn't understand was if he was ending it of his own accord or under influence from his father.

"It's not just because of my father. Can you look me in the eyes and tell me that our relationship never wore you down one bit?" He asks seriously waiting for your answer.

You look into his eyes but your lips tremble, you aren't able to say those words, you can only look away and quickly wipe the tears that fell from your face.

"Are y-you sure you want this?" Your voice cracks, you feel his arms around you again trying to comfort you.

"I love you so much (Y/n)... But our love has only made us suffer. On the outside it looks like we're fine, but from the beginning we've just been wearing ourselves out to keep it. That's not healthy. I want you to be truly happy." You couldn't control your tears anymore, deep down you also felt the same way but you couldn't accept it just ended.

After all, he was your first love.

"I-I see. I also want you to be happy and... I'm sorry... I can't do this right now." You pulled away from his arms and reached for the doorknob behind you as you tried to quickly wipe away the tears that kept falling from your eyes.

"(Y /n)..." You walked out the door and down the hall with hurried steps. You didn't want this to be any harder than it already was.

We're really done...

You took a deep breath, finishing wiping your tears with the sleeves of your fist and swallowing the tears, leaving a lump in your throat.

You passed through the crowd of people, went to the bartender to get more drink and drink in order to end this sadness and pain as soon as possible.

Adrien's Pov:

She walked out the door while the only thing I could say was calling her name.

I sighed leaning back against the wall as I crouched down to sit on the floor. I feel so drained, my chest hurts and I've cried so many times in the bathroom I can't shed another tear.

"I'm sorry kid, things are gonna get better." Plagg floated over my shoulder.

"Do you think I made the right decision Plagg?" I asked resting my chin on my knees.

"I think there's no right choice. It's the things in life, maybe fate will bring you together one day again. They're like cheese, they may run out but you can always buy more the next day." I smile sadly understanding Plagg's cheese advice for the first time. I just need some more time here...

Adrien's Pov/off:

The party was starting to get lively, there was a beer pong table set up in the backyard and everyone was drinking and dancing.

Felix was really trying hard to be the best host and socialize with guests but inside he was already getting sick of playing nice.

Finally he saw your familiar face in the crowd and excused himself to the group surrounding him to come to you. As soon as he got close enough and saw you with a drink in each hand, he couldn't help but chuckle

"You don't waste time. Why the rush to get drunk?" He took one of the glasses from your hand and took a sip.

"To kill the pain faster... Hey! That was mine!" You complained giving a slight stagger back before taking another sip.

Felix looked at you confused and noticed that your eyes were slightly red.

"(Y /n)... have you been crying? Did someone mess with you? I'll going to ki-" You put a finger to his lips to silence him.

"Nothing major just Adrien breakin up with me. I couldn't help but feel sad. But this drink is helping me feel better." You laughed staggering forward. Felix held you by your arms keeping you in place as several things went through his mind at once.

"I don't believe it... How can he be so stupid?! Hold on, I'll talk to-" You interrupt him.

"No!!!" You yell angrily holding him by his tie. He is forced to lean down to avoid being hanged.

"You're not going to make me feel any better by playing a cupid or whatever. We're done! I just want to forget about it all so come get drunk with me let's enjoy this fucking party." You let go of his tie and went to get more drinks.

Felix straightened his tie as he watched you with concern he sighed pushing away all the forbidden thoughts that popped into his mind and accepted the drink you brought him when you returned.

"As you wish." He toasted with you still lost in his thoughts.

You jumped up excitedly and pulled him by the arm into the backyard where most of your friends were. You saw Marinette, Alya, Kagami, and Nathaniel in a conversation circle so you walked over to them.

"Hi (Y/n), have you seen Adrien around?" Kagami asked as the two of you approached.

"Must be breaking some hearts out there." You shrugged staggering forward but Felix held you by the shoulders keeping your balance.

"Gosh girl, you're already drunk. It wouldn't even be fun if we went to play beer pong." Alya commented making your eyes sparkle.

"Damn! We have to play this now, I need to live up to my title of queen, yeah!" You pointed to the unoccupied table while skipping to it, everyone agreed and follow you.

The pairs were formed, it would be you and Alya against Kagami and Felix, the loser would leave the game to enter Nathaniel and Marinette.

This time luck was not on your side, you and Alya lost.

"I can't believe this!" You groaned giddily. Alya patted your shoulder consolingly while Kagami and Felix bragging subtly in celebration.

"You're not bad either." Felix said to Kagami.

"Did you think I played bad? Have you forgotten that I was the one who beat you at chess that time?" She winked at him confidently. You squinted and threw the ball at them missing it, they continued arguing without noticing your annoyance.

You huffed angrily and left looking for something to eat this time.

While you were getting lost in the crowd, you accidentally tripped and bumped into someone's back.

"Ouch... Look where-" when she saw it was you she forced a fake smile. "Hello (Y/n), it's been a while since we last spoke, I've missed our talks." You wrinkled your nose disgusted, it was Lila and Chole was beside her.

"Oh no... Did Felix invite you two?" You mumbled staggering to the side, it was a little difficult to keep your balance now.

"You look pathetic." Chloe scoffed.

"Don't you know (Y/n)? Felix and I get along great, didn't he tell you that we've been talking?" Lila said with a confident smile.

"Oh really? Chole and I get along really great too. Isn't it Chloe?" You winked and blew her a little kiss chuckling. Lila had a vein standing out on her forehead but she pulled herself together and put her arm around you.

"Since we're all friends we have to celebrate, how about a dip in the pool?" She laughed evil as she dragged you to the edge of the pool you even tried to free yourself but you were too dizzy and Chloe helped her push you.

They pushed you into the deep pool and laughed as you struggled to stay on the surface. Kim, who was the only one in the pool, swam over to you and helped you to the edge.

"Are you okay?" He asked as you spit out the water you swallowed. You nodded and thanked him.

You looked at them but there wasn't an ounce of emotion on your face, it was night you thought the water would be freezing but it looks like the pool had a heater, that gave you an idea.

You got out of the pool and got a drink that the waiter handed out and climbed on top of a table.

Chloe and Lila couldn't stop laughing.

"She'll embarrass herself, we don't even have to do anything." They burst out laughing until you yelled for everyone's attention, until the music stopped to pay attention to the wet drunk girl on the table.

"Hello everyone! Do you remember me?" Everyone looked at your face and finally they started to argue excitedly.

"Damn it's Kisser Girl!" A guy you didn't know shouted excitedly.

"Take a picture with me!" Someone else spoke.

"Wait folks, there's Kisser Girl for everyone. How about we liven up this party? Kisser Girl says jump in the pool without your clothes!" Everyone was excited by your energy, and to your surprise most of the already drunk people got in their underwear and ran to the pool, Chloe and Lila were in the way and ended up getting pushed and falling along with the crowd that jumped in.

You laughed super excited not believing that it worked so you finished the drink in your glass in a few sips in celebration.

The movement made you lose your balance and slide off the table but before you hit the floor a pair of arms catch you easily and put you down safety.

"Wow that was close, are you ok?" Your cheeks flushed from having a hunky guy right in front of you so suddenly.

"Luka... Yeah, thanks to you I'm okay, much better now." You weren't very discreet as you looked at him.

"Glad to know, here, take it..." He suddenly took off his jacket and put it around your shoulders. "Keep my jacket or you'll end up catching a cold."

He smiled gently, you thanked him blushing feeling his perfume invade your nostrils.

"You're very kind, I don't think we had the opportunity to talk properly before. You like Marinette don't you?" You asked with a smug smile, really the drink made most people lose their shame and talk about anything that came in mind. He chuckled before answering you.

"Yes, I like her a lot. We dated for a while but she had mixed feelings. So today we're just friends." You could relate to him, as he spoke you didn't see any signs of sadness or regret that intrigued you.

"How did you manage to go through the pain?" You asked a little crestfallen when remembering your very recent breakup.

"It's hard at first, but just thinking that she would be happy makes the pain bearable. And I focused more on my first passion which is music. What's your first passion?" You looked at him in awe and before you could answer, several girls appeared asking for his autograph and flirting with him.

Would it be really wrong if I tried to hook up with my friend's ex?

You giggle pushing your drunken thoughts away and walked away waving goodbye to him, he waved back and gently gave his fans attention.

"Hey Kisser Girl! Let's spin the bottle!" A random guy yells from the pool.

"Hell yeah! I'm free to play this game now! Someone bring a bottle!" You yelled back. But someone grabbed your wrist and pulled you inside the house where there were fewer people now. "I finally found you."

"Felix stop! I was starting to enjoy myself! You're not fun." He finally dropped you into a corner of the living room.

"You're drunk. I'm being a good friend and preventing you from doing something you'll regret tomorrow." He crossed his arms with a serious look.

"Good friend? I thought your new bestie was Kagami." You pouted trying to keep your balance.

"Are you jealous?" Felix chuckled surprised.

"Of course I am, our rivalry was my first passion. And suddenly you're competing with Kagami" You slur your words. Felix didn't take what you said seriously because you were drunk.

"You don't even know what you're talking about. You're a troublesome drunk, you know that?" He arched an eyebrow. "Did you happen to fall in the pool? Whose jacket is that?" Felix looked at you attentively finding the jacket familiar, he guessed whose it was himself and called a waiter while taking it off you.

"Hey! It's Luka's, I'll give it back to him!" You tried to jump up and grab the shirt from him as he gave it to the waiter and asked to give it to a guy with blue hair. The waiter nodded and left.

"Let's go upstairs and change your clothes before you get sick." Felix sighed taking your hand but this time you pulled him against you and grabbed him by the tie bringing your faces to the same level.

"W-what are you doing now?" Felix said getting red. You laughed at his embarrassed reaction.

"I guess you're jealous too." You smirked and moved closer until your foreheads touched.

"Maybe I'm jealous but I'm not the least bit surprised, I know you, you have a soft spot for good guys." He rolled his eyes and tried to pull away but you tugged on his tie keeping him still.

"So naive... If you only knew the whole story...haha! You don't know me as well as you think." You didn't give him time to answer and leaned forward breaking the little distance between you two making your lips touch.

Your soft lips against his didn't let him control his deepest desires for you so he thought of nothing else just for a moment and kissed you back intensely, without feeling satiated he held your arms against the wall in order to feel your body against his very close. When your back hit the wall, you couldn't hold back a moan against his lips. Now it wasn't just your clothes that were wet.

"Fuck... Are you trying to drive me crazy?" Felix regained control and walked away looking away running a hand through his blond strands feeling a kind of guilt fall over his shoulders, he loved the fact that it was wrong but he supposed if you weren't drunk you would never have kissed him like that.

"So wild! Why did you stop-" He shut you up with his finger on your lips.

"(Y/n), you're going through a lot at once and you're very drunk right now. I care about you a lot so I'm going to follow common sense this time and I'm going to ignore my wishes and you should ignore yours too because you're a drunken mess." You really weren't giving a shit about morals right now but then you saw Marinette and Adrien walk past the room talking going to the backyard. You felt that pain in your chest again. And your will to party is simply gone.

"You're right. I'm a mess, I'm just trying to avoid the pain. I don't think I want to get drunk anymore." You hung your head feeling awful, your emotions were a mess today, so many things at once, you were drained.

"As you wish, let's start by changing your clothes." Felix took your hand and you followed him obediently this time, there was no one upstairs, there was a security guard there barring anyone who tried to pass.

Felix chose his mother's casual outfit and left you alone in her room to change. As soon as you finished, a maid entered the room and took your wet clothes to wash. You didn't know what time it was but those warm clothes and the sight of that comfortable bed were calling you.

You went to the bed and threw yourself face down on it. Your mind was exhausted, you just fell asleep.

You were taking too long to leave so Felix entered the room to see if you were okay and saw you sleeping peacefully.

He curved his lips into a small smile and covered you with the sheets.

Then he sighed, turned off the light and closed the door behind him leaving the room.

I can't wait to see her reaction when she wakes up and remembers everything she did tonight

He chuckled and bit his lips remembering that unexpected kiss.
