Chapter 4

"The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Noble Qur'an is associated with the honorable and the obedient scribes (angles) and he who recites the Noble Qur'an and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have a double reward."

[Bukhari - Narrated by Aisha]

Rida glanced up from her laptop, to see her mother enter the room with a pile of clothes. Without wasting one more minute, Rida concentrated back at her laptop, that contained the presentation that she was procrastinating for the past one week. She was always the procrastinator whether that be her assignments or her studies, she would always keep things in the end, a habit that was liked by none in her family, but never did object because in the end, she completed her work and would score good marks.

"Keep this neatly, in your wardrobe." Her mom said and was about to leave when she gazed up at her mother.

"Mum please can't you do it for me? I'm busy with my presentation." She said and her mom turned to her daughter who was busy typing.

"Well, that's your punishment for always keeping things for the last moment." Her mum said glaring at her and she looked up at her laptop, rolling her eyes at her mom.

"Please mum." She said giving the best puppy face, pouting a little to bring her mum in her trap, but She was her mum and it was hard to do such thing!

"Well I'm not doing it. Either you do it or just leave it. I don't want to bang my head with your clothes. What can you identify here?" Her mum said and pointed to the pile of clothes that laid on the bed.

She noticed her clothes and sighed. They all were black and she knew what her mother wanted to convey to her.

"Clothes." She said smiling sheepishly at her mum who glared at her.

"I can only see black clothes. I cannot even identify your jeans and kurtas in that and you want me to fold them? I'm not doing it." She said and turned around to leave the room when Rida called out to her again,

"Mum, please." She said as she was tired and did not wanted to argue with her mum at this time.

"No Rida I know you like black and dull colours so do I, but have you seen me wearing black 365 days? No right. There should be some colours in life too. Just like your wardrobe you have made your life black too." Her mum yelled at her and she sighed and kept quiet, knowing she was right.

"I'm sorry." She apologized not knowing why was she even apologizing.

Her mother looked at her daughter for a minute. This was not the type of daughter she dreamt of. She always wanted a daughter who would be bold, fearless and the tomboy type but she was just the opposite. But she was happy that her daughter was understanding, caring and respectful, the most important aspect in a human.

Her mum walked out of the room, and Rida looked up at her mum leaving. She closed her laptop and sighed. She was already very tired due to the sleepless night and the presentation and to add to the misery the needy helping hand in the house hold chores.

Her mum had divided the work between the three of them during the holidays. While her mum would cook, Faiza would sweep and wash the floor and Rida would wash the dishes and would help her mother in cutting vegetables. While Faiza only helped during her holidays, Rida helped their mum during the normal days because she could see her mum aging and that made her tired very easily.

Rida got up from her bed, throwing away her laptop on the bed. She looked at the pile of clothes, or like her mother said black clothes. She moved away some clothes, letting herself understand what clothes she had to arrange where.

She walked to her wardrobe and opened it, looking at the clothes that occupied the most place. Black, Grey, Dark Brown and Dark Blue. She knew those colours were just because her mum had forced her to buy anything except black and that was the reason she had gone for other colours, dark colours.

Her life was just like her wardrobe. Dark and colourless. And she did not intend on changing it, not now. Not ever.

She walked back to her bed and lifted a cloth and started folding it, and with that her mind started working.

She was folding the clothes absent minded thinking about Rehan. There were so many questions in the back of her mind that she wanted answers for. What happened to his mother? Is she alive or dead? Where is his father? What happened to him in those years when Saif escaped? How did Saif meet him again? How did he manage to be successful? And most importantly how did he manage to escape?

Her head started aching with all those questions. Questions that were unanswered. She glanced down to see that there were no clothes to be folded. She was so engrossed in her own mind that she hardly notice the clothes.

"Rida Di?" On hearing her name, she turned around to see her sister with her laptop in her hand, with pleading eyes.

She knew she wanted some help and that was the reason behind those eyes!

"Come." She called out to her sister and after arranging her clothes, she sat down on the bed with Faiza busy typing on her laptop.

"Tell me, what help do you need?" Rida asked, directly coming to the point while, Faiza smiled at her sister, nervously.

"Actually I have a rough work of history to submit tomorrow." She said and Rida waited for her sister to continue, because she knew there would be more to it.

"Handwritten." She said and Rida smirked at her sister.

"And what do I get?" She asked and Faiza grinned.

"Whatever you ask for!" She exclaimed and Rida smirked and started thinking of what was the thing she needed the most right now, but nothing came to her mind.

"Okay, I'll tell you about it later." She said still thinking and Faiza thanked her sister and ran out the room.

Rida looked at her laptop and than to Faiza's that had her thing that needed to be written down. She sighed and took Faiza's laptop and after taking all the requirements she sat down on the floor. She started writing, and it almost took her two hours to write. She looked at the pages that were scattered around the place. After arranging them in order, she took her sister's laptop and the pages and walked to her sister's room who was lazily lying on the bed, scrolling through her feeds.

"Here." She said and kept the things on the bed, besides her and Faiza got up, surprised to see her work complete.

"You finished it?" Faiza asked going through the pages and looking up at sister, who now was reading a verse on her sister's feed

"Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find Peace." Qur'an 6:71

She smiled at the verse and couldn't agree more, because she was going through such a period in her life that only talking to Allah SWT would help her.

"JazakAllahu Khairan Khair Appi so much, you just made my work so easy. Thank you so much." Faiza said and Rida looked up from the phone smiling at her sister.

"This is the last help from me." Rida said and Faiza chuckled at her sister.

"Always the same dialogue." Faiza said and Rida glared at her sister, but smiled.

"Whatever, Wa iyyaki." Rida said and slapped her sister and ran out of the room.

She got to her room, and jumped on the bed feeling tired. She looked at her laptop and sighed. She did not have energy left within her to complete her work. She decided to take a nap and continue her work at night. She wanted to check her phone to see if there were any messages from Rehan but she knew if she now opens the message she would have to reply back and she did not wanted to leave Rehan at seen.

She was about to go into slumber when she heard her mother call out to her. She waited thinking her mother would tell her what was the work but when she did not call her again, she sighed. Frustrated, She got up and turned around to only jump in fear when she saw Aafia near the door, standing with her arms folded and eyes narrowed.

"You scared me." Rida said keeping her hand on her chest while rolling her eyes at her.

Aafia walked towards her bed and taking a pillow, she started hitting Rida while she was shocked to be suddenly attacked.

"STOP." Rida yelled trying to snatch the pillow away from her, but Aafia had a tight grip over the pillow, that did not allow Rida to do anything.

Aafia stopped hitting Rida when she herself was tired. She breathed heavily, while Rida took a deep breath before hitting her best friend with her own hands, earning a fits of giggle from Aafia.

"They can hardly hurt me." Aafia said in between her giggles and Rida rolled her eyes before smirking.

"Not hurting huh!? Now see." Rida smirked at her best friend and started pinching her while laughing loudly.

"Ahh Rida sorry, I will not do that again." Aafia said and Rida stopped pinching her, but smirked at her best friend.

"Do not mess with me again." Rida said and laid down on the bed while Aafia laid besides her too.

"So what is your reason behind suddenly dropping yourself at my place?" Rida asked her face in the pillow while Aafia got up abruptly, shock evident on her face.

"Are you kidding me?" Aafia asked and Rida turned to her confused.

"I don't remember you informing me about coming, or did you?" She asked and Aafia glared at her before hitting.

"You are such a bad friend." Aafia said and Rida smiled at her sheepishly, confusion etched on her face.

"You are a bad cousin too." Aafia said huffing at Rida making her more confuse.

"Where did that come from?" Rida asked trying to understand from Aafia's face, what was going on.

"You forgot?" Aafia asked bewilder and Rida shook her head in a 'no'.

"Okay, then tell me." Aafia said and Rida pressurised her brain to remember the thing that she was forgetting, according to Aafia.

"Okay, I don't remember. Now will you tell me?" Rida said taking her laptop and continuing her presentation.

"Tomorrow is Aahana Appi's Mehendi ceremony." Aafia said glaring at Rida and she looked up from the laptop screen, horrified.

She looked back at the laptop to check the date.

"Damn I forgot." Rida said smiling nervously at her best friend.

Aahana was Aafia's uncles daughter. She was Aafia's first cousin and was far away relative to Rida. Rida's father was the cousin brother with Aahana's mother. But their family where not much close to each other, but Rida was close to each and every one in Aafia's family, as they both were best friend for ages.

"How can I forget?" Rida said face palming herself, while Aafia nodded her head.

"Good to know, now get up and start packing." Aafia said getting up from her place while opening her wardrobe and then turning to her best friend who was gawking at her.

"What? You are coming to stay and I am not listening to you this time. Last time you did not stay for Bushra Appi's wedding too and that time you had said that you will be staying for Aahana Appi's wedding so this time no going back." Aafia said looking at her best friend who was shaking her head slightly.

"I will come for the wedding, will even stay late at night but stay over? That's impossible I have a presentation to submit the day after tomorrow." Rida said and Aafia ignored her and continued removing Rida's clothes.

"You can complete you presentation at our place too and I promise I won't disturb you." Aafia said but Rida was not ready to accept the offer.

She knew that presentation was just an excuse but in real she did not wanted to meet the person behind her heart break. The person because of whom she was stuck in her life. She did not wanted to go and let him see how fragile she was. How she was still not ready to accept the fact that they were no more friends.

"Rida, I hope you remember that my mom strictly has warned you to not wear black." Aafia said pointing to the black in her hand making Rida sigh.

"I'll get something tomorrow." Rida said, avoiding Aafia busy with her laptop but Aafia walked towards her, and removed her laptop from her sight and glared at Rida.

"We are going to shopping today and you are coming with us, that's final." Aafia said and Rida started thinking of ways of escaping the stay.

"Have you asked Safa?" Rida asked quickly while Aafia glared at her.

"She will directly come tomorrow." Aafia said and Rida smiled at her.

"But I hope you know she is pregnant so Saif wouldn't allow her to stay." Aafia said when she saw Rida open her mouth. Rida glared at Aafia.

"Okay listen to me.." Rida wasn't able to complete what she wanted to say because Aafia pulled her up and started walking down the stairs.

"Chachi do you have any problem if Rida stays at our place?" Aafia asked Rida's mom and she glanced at her daughter who was pleading her mom to say yes.

"I don't have any problem." Her mom said smiling at Aafia while Aafia turned to Rida giving her a victorious smile while Rida smiled back at her.

"Now are you wearing your hijab or should I force you into it?" Aafia asked and Rida walked to her room, defeated.

Rida wore her hijab and after taking her phone she walked to her mom and after collecting the cash from her mom for the shopping, she headed out with Aafia after she had worn her niqaab.

Rida did not knew how to drive a car but she was good at riding while Aafia did not know either.

Rida pulled out her Aviator from the parking lot and after Aafia had sat, they both started riding to the nearest mall.

"Is it necessary for me to buy something?" Rida asked looking at Aafia from the rear view mirror while she rolled her eyes.

"Yes it is." Aafia said nodding her head at Rida making her sigh.

"Whatever but please make it soon, okay?" Rida said and Aafia looked at her back in disbelief.

"Are you serious? It's you who is here for shopping and not me." Aafia said and Rida glanced back at he before concentrating on the road.

"Well I hope you know that I suck at shopping." Rida said and Aafia did not utter a word.

They reached the mall in the next 10 minute. Aafia waited outside for Rida who had gone to park the bike. Rida came to her with her phone in her hand. They both entered the mall and were roaming for around 20 minutes.

"I'm done." Rida said taking a seat on the staircase while not caring about the people.

"It's hardly 20 minutes we are here." Aafia said pulling Rida who was not ready to get up, when Rida's eyes fell on the dark blue coloured gown on a statue. It was pretty simply and was elegant. The colour almost looked black but wasn't. Rida looked ta Aafia and she looked Rida confused and then in the direction were Rida was glancing. She sighed and turned to her with an "Are you serious' look and she nodded her head.

They entered the shop and asked the shopkeeper to show them the dress. Rida smiled at the dress and nodded at Aafia.

"At least go and check if it's fit you." Aafia suggested to Rida but she was very lazy to do that.

"I know that it will fit me, now come on let's pay and leave." Rida said and pulled Aafia who was glaring at her.

After taking the dress, they both took a seat at the food counter that was at the top floor.

"Now your jewellery." Aafia said and Rida looked at her shocked.

"Have you seen the dress? It has long sleeves and even the collar is high and I definitely am going to wear a hijab so there is no chance of any jewellery and yeah this ring is more than enough." She said and showed her a silver ring that was in her right hand. Aafia did not argue back because she knew it would be a waste of time.

After having their snack, they headed out of the mall.

"Shall we go to Safa's place? It's been three days that I met her." Rida said and Aafia nodded her head.

"Take my cell and message mom." Rida said and removed her cell and handed it to Rida.

"You have messages." Aafia informed Rida and she did not reply back because she knew who's messages that could be.

Aafia did not say anything and after doing as Rida said, she handed back the phone to her. They rode to Safa's place. Rida parked the bike and they both entered the gate together. Rida rang the bell and opened her WhatsApp to message Sakina, her school mate who was Aafia's cousin too.

Are you gong for the mehendi ceremony? -Rida

She messaged her and looked at her last seen. She closed her phone and put it back in her jeans. Safa opened the door, her face glowing, looking at her best friends.

"Assalamualaikum." Rida said and entered the house, plopping herself on the couch in the living area, when something clicked in her head.

"Is Saif home?" She asked Safa and after she had shook her head she sighed before closing her eyes.

"Where had you both been?" Safa asked taking a seat while Aafia said down besides Safa too.

"We had been to shopping." Aafia said and started telling about everything to Safa while she giggled earning a glare from Rida. Rida did not utter a word the whole time. She heard her phone beep. She pulled out her phone to see a message from Sakina.

Insha Allah. yes. -Sakina

She sighed and messaged her a sorry for disturbing her. She looked at Aafia. She did not wanted to upset her. She knew even the last time she had done the same thing. She did not wanted things to go wrong in between them. Deciding to go with the flow, she opened the chats of messages.

There were many messages from him, about the messages from last night. She wanted to read them but she wanted to reply to those in peace where she would be alone.

I'm currently at Safa's place with Aafia.

i am sorry, I was busy the entire day with my presentation so couldn't come online.

Tomorrow there is a mehendi ceremony of one of Aafia's cousin, so I think I would go there.

For a stay over.

And I don't think I can come online much, so sorry if I don't reply to you back. -Rida

She messaged him and kept her phone inside to get herself engrossed in the conversation that the both girls were having.

"Rida I think we should leave, mom messaged that we will be leaving soon." Aafia said and Rida nodded her head and got up.

"Take care of yourself, and do not stress yourself if you are unable to make it tomorrow." Rida said to Safa and she tried reading her best friend's eyes to understand what was she going through at the moment.

"Are you sure of this stay over?" Safa asked Rida felt a lump in her throat.

"Of course why wouldn't I be?" Rida asked smiling at Safa and glancing over at Aafia who was busy talking to her mom.

"It's so hard to understand what is going inside you." Safa said and Rida smiled at her. She knew and she loved it that way. Unpredictable.

She would always confuse people with her personality, but that was only because she never loved people reading her. Easily.

After saying their salaam, they rode back to Rida's place to take her bag and to inform her mom. Rida informed her mom and told her to inform her father too. She said her salaam, to both her sister and her mom, and after hearing the honk of the car, Aafia and Rida both walked out.

Rida smiled at Aafia's mom who was smiling at her through hee niqaab and that could be easily understood by her eyes. Both their mom's started talking to each other while Rida kept her bags in the car and greeted Aafia's father and her sister, Zainab who was busy with her phone.

"I hope the girls don't trouble you." Rida's mom said while Rida rolled her eyes at her mom, for saying such a thing.

"I just hope they don't trouble." Aafia's mom said and before they could talk anything further I walked towards my mom,

"Don't worry I'll not trouble chachi." The mom mothers nodded their head at the girl, while after they had done talking, everyone settled in the car, waving at the ladies standing out.

"Isn't Khadija Appi coming for the wedding?" Rida asked Aafia who was sitting with her eyes closed.

"Insha Allah, she will be there by night." Aafia said and Rida nodded her head.

Khadija was Aafia's elder sister and was married. She lived a little far away from their ancestral house, but as her mother in-law isn't well she couldn't making it in the evening. And even her daughter had her school that she couldn't miss.

Rida pulled out her phone to see a message from Rehan. She opened the message and a small smiled made it's way to her lips.

Don't be sorry, you don't have anything to be sorry of! I understood that you might have been busy and that was the reason you did not come online. And no problem, reply me back whenever you find the time to do so. And have your food on time and do have your food, if I come to know that you didn't have your food then you see what I do to do-_-

And yeah Take Care of yourself and I'll miss you:( -Rehan

She smiled at the message, rolling her eyes at the topic of food. She thought how will he come to know if she have her food or no, but she knew she cannot lie to him and he had his way of finding the truth.

With a smile on her face, she stated typing him a message back.

Insha Allah I'll try replying to you back soon, because most of the time I will be free. I will have my food on time and yeah I do have my food, Okay?

You Too Take Care of Yourself and Be Safe and have your food on time and I'll miss you too. -Rida

She sent hit, and kept her phone inside when Aafia started talking to her about some fun they would be doing tonight while Rida could hardly concentrate on the talk because her thoughts were occupies. By someone who had no rights to be on her mind!

Or did he!?

***

"Finally, I'm so tired." Aafia's sister, Zainab said while getting down making me smile, while Aafia rolled her eyes at her sister's tantrums.

"Alhamdulillah." Aafia's mother said and everyone got out every luggage that they had with them, while Aafia's father, drove away to park the car.

Rida looked the house in amusement. The house was an old British house, that looked vey old. She knew Aafia's grandfather was very rich in his time, and had a very huge house. All the family used to stay there but due to their work and the school of their kids, they had to shift to a better place where things could be easier. The market here was almost half an hour far and there were no shops available near by. But the entire family would meet here at every occasion, whether that be Eid or some marriage function or some other family function, they all would celebrate it from here, because they did not wanted to break tradition that was set by their elder's in the family.

Rida was still looking at the house, tat was decorated with lights and the compound area was cleaned and there were few chairs kept in the corner, probably for tomorrow's function.

"Rida are you going to come in?" Aafia asked Rida who had almost entered inside, while Rida smiled at her nervously before nodding her head. She wore her bag on her shoulder and the other bag was in her hand. She hesitantly took steps towards the house. The house that she once dreamed about. All the things with him. She shook her head at the thoughts. She did not wanted to think about it, about him anymore.

She entered with her right feet, her chest hammering and her legs shivering. She could hear no voice at all. She looked around the living area to see if there were anyone but to her relief there were no one. No one.

She smiled at Aafia who caught her hand and blinked her eyes at her, in assurances. She walked with Aafia leading her, upstairs. Aafia entered a room and kept her things in a corner and plopped herself on the bed. Rida looked at her unsure of what to do with her bag still in her hand, and in the doorway.

"You can make yourself comfortable here, this is my and Zainab's room." Aafia said looking at Rida and she sighed before throwing her bag pack and keeping her laptop on the bedside while sitting on the bed too.

"You can lay down too." Aafia said Rida shook her head looking around the bedroom when she realised something. She bite her lips, debating whether to ask Aafia the question that was in her mind for so long.

"Aafia?" Rida called out to Aafia and she hummed in response on the verge of sleeping.

"Where are everyone else?" She asked and Aafia got up and sat down besides Rida, looking in her eyes. She wanted to know what Rida felt. Was she nervous to meet him? Or it did not bother her at all, like the last time she had said? She looked at Rida for a few seconds, while Rida looked at her back to, playing with her fingers. Her eyes were emotionless. Her face did not give away what she as thinking right now. Aafia sighed at her best friend for being so good at hiding emotions.

"Insha Allah they all will be here by night." Aafia said and Rida nodded her head, her heart taking it's pace. She knew it was of no use. The more she said she didn't care, the more it pained her. She wanted to distract herself from every thought that pained her. She looked at the clock and noticed that it was time for the magrib Salah and that she had missed Asr.

"I'm going to pray are you joining me?" Rida asked getting up and Aafia shook her head.

"The praying room is downstairs, in the left corner of the living area." Aafia instructed her the direction for the praying room and after understanding the direction, Rida walked down. She, first searched for the washroom and did her ablution. She wrapped her hijab securely around her head so that no hair was visible. After she was satisfied, she walked out of the washroom in search of the praying room, just as Aafia had instructed her. She entered a room, to see Aafia's mother praying. She looked around the room for the praying mat and after she had found it, she laid it down and stood on it. She started praying her Asr Salah that she had missed. After praying the Asr Salah she prayed magrib Salah. She took her own sweet time to pray. She did not wanted to rush her prayer for any reason, because she knew that she was the shaytaan that played with the mind. She made Dua for everyone. After making Dua she said down on the mat for 10 minutes. She did her tasbeeh and then got up. She folded the prayed mat, neatly and kept it back from where she had taken it.

She walked out of the room to see Aafia's Chachi and Chachu. His parents. She looked around the room to see if he was present or no, and to her relief he wasn't present. Making herself normal, and with a smile on her face, she walked out.

"Assalamualaikum." She greeted his parents and they turned to her.

"Walaikumassalam, Rida dear how are you?" Aafia's chachi got up from her place and pulled Rida in a hug while she hugged her back.

"Alhamdulillah chachi I'm doing good, how are you?" She asked smiling at her after she nodded her head.

"Alhamdulillah." She said and they both continued talking about Rida's parents.

"Isn't Bushra Appi going to come?" Rida asked looking out in the corridor.

"She is on her way, Insha Allah she will be here by night." Aafia's chachi said she nodded her head at her smiling.

She excused herself telling her that she had a presentation to completing and promising to sit with her later at the night she walked to the room where her laptop was to see Aafia snoring a little. She couldn't help but giggle at her. She tiptoed towards her got down her phone and made her video. She sent that video to Safa and too Aafia to know how she snored. Rida switched on her mobile data to see if there were any messages, but to her bad there were no messages.

She made herself believe that he might be busy with his work, but she didn't knew she felt bad that he hadn't replied to her back. She threw her phone on the bed, annoyed a little and took her laptop and walked to the terrace.

She started working on her presentation, while checking her book in a while to know what she was doing was right or wrong, but every time she did it wrong and she knew the reason too. She always would do things wrong whenever she was frustrated or annoyed but today she was hurt and she herself didn't knew the reason. Maybe because Rehan never did keep her hanging, he would always be online at this time of the day. She almost lost the track of her assignment and the time too. After a very long time, she closed her laptop, not able to concentrate. She searched for her phone to know what time it was but she had thrown her phone in the room, and had completely forgotten about it. She took the laptop and the book and headed down to see Aafia not in her room, but Zainab was doing her makeup.

"Where are you going?" Rida asked curious to know after looking at the time.

"Just trying the new makeup look that I saw on YouTube." Zainab said giggling making Rida to shake her head at her.

"Where is Aafia?" She asked and Zainab informed her that she was down with the cousins.

"Cousins as in?" Rida asked feeling her heart beating rapidly.

"All the girls." Zainab said and Rida nodded her head sighing in relief. She walked down searching Aafia everywhere, but she did not find them. She was now tired searching for them in the entire house.

"Rida whom are you searching?" Aafia's mom asked her and she told her that Aafia was missing so she informed her that all the girls where in their grandparents room talking.

"Assalamualaikum chachi, how are you?" She greeted Aahana's mother on the way while she greeted her back and they both talked for a while. Aahana's mother talked about how she was happy seeing Rida come for a stay but would have been more happy if Faiza could have made it too while Rida told her that her presentations were going on and that was the reason she couldn't make it.

After they had talked, Rida slowly took her steps towards the room where she could hear most of the voices coming. She peeped inside to see all the girls, giggling while the bride too be was seating in the centre. She slowly knocked the door and everyone were surprised to see Rida.

"Rida what a pleasant surprise! When did you come? Bushra Asked her taking her in a hug that she did not found hard to reciprocate.

"Well she came with us, or you can say was forced to come with us." Aafia said making Rida to roll her eyes at her.

"Then where were you for so long? I almost went in every room to see for girls to be here." Bushra's elder sister, Asma asked making Rida to smile sheepishly at her.

"Well she was doing her presentation and where was she that answer I don't have." Aafia said and all the girls in the room rolled their eyes at Aafia.

"Aafia?" Ifza, Aafia's second cousin called out to her and she raised her eyebrow at her while eating a cupcake.

"Are you her mouth piece?" She asked making everyone to giggle while Aafia glared at her throwing the cupcake paper at her, that she returned back.

"Fine I won't speak now." Aafia said her mouth full making everyone to roll her eyes at her.

"Highly doubtful." Maha, Aafia's cousin said while sharing a high five with Ifza.

"I'll prove it to you'll." Aafia said and they all started with a fight while Rida looked at them, with a smile on her face.

"Just ignore them, they are just this way." Asma said looking at her sister, who was fighting too, even though she was a mother of two kids.

"Did anyone miss me?" They heard a voice and everyone turned to the sound of the voice to see Aafia's elder sister, Khadija sending with her hands open.

Everyone looked at her for a few seconds, and then turned back and continued fighting making her embarrassed.

Level of insult!

Rida giggled when Khadija plopped herself on them, making them yell at her. She always loved this. The way they bonded, not caring about anything. They did fight, but in the end they were one.

Rida did not wait, for the fight to get over, she had her phone with her and it was already dark. She was about to leave when she heard the adhaan. Everyone now were silent. After the adhaan was over all the girls, got up to pray and some to help their mother's in the kitchen.

Everyone did their ablution and stood for prayer. Everywhere were standing in a line. After they were done praying, the sat on the mat talking.

"Girls, the food is ready." They heard their mother's voice and they all got up and folded their respective mats and arranged it in order of how it was kept earlier. Everyone walked out of the room to the living area where all the men's were present. Rida looked around the room and sighed.

She looked at the time. She wasn't hungry. Excusing herself, she walked out to call her mother. After she had done talking to her mother, she checked her messages and couldn't help the smile that made it's way on her lips.

Rida I'm so tired was busy the entire day! I cannot wait to be back to India and be back to my own self, to my people. Damn I miss you'll so much. I hope you had your food and enjoy yourself without me:(

Good Night Best Friend<3

She still was smiling at his message, when her head shot up and the smile that was on her face wasn't there anymore!
