We step off a long tiring journey on the plane, and I mustn't forget to mention awkward! Since Shawn, Lauren and I were on the same plane, but neither of them wanted to sit next to one another, or talk to each other for a matter of fact so I was stuck in the middle. And trust me if looks could kill, Lauren would have murdered me by now.

"I'm sorry," Shawn says as he lifts our luggage onto a cart, Lauren had already disappeared leaving just the two of us.  

"Shawn you need to stop apologising, why are you even saying sorry now?"

"Because you got stuck between me and Lauren, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable."

"Shawn, it's fine honestly. Lets just go find our families," I say starting to push one of the two carts.

"Eva you know I still mean what I said, back at Starbucks."

"I know Shawn, but I still need time."

"Take all the time you need," Shawn says smiling at me just as we get stopped by a few fans to take pictures.

In reality, I was completely certain of my feelings to Shawn and I would take him back in a heartbeat but at the same time I was scared, I just wanted time to know Shawn felt the same and believe me I didn't doubt him for a second, but sometimes we just need time to move on, to be certain of how we feel. The last thing I want is for Shawn to leave a relationship where he was unhappy to walk into another relationship without being absolutely certain of his feelings.

Once we had finished taking pictures we set out to find our families amongst the many faces, but eventually I spot them talking to one another. I point them out to Shawn and our pace speeds up until we're speed walking, looking like Harry Potter with his cart trying to get to platform 9 and 3/4. They also notice us and huge smiles are spread across our faces.

I soon discard the luggage cart on the side and jump into their arms hugging them tighter than I ever have before.

"Eva, honey we missed you so much!" My mum coos into my hair.

"The house has been to quiet without you Evie bear!" Jokes my father, trying to hide the tears that were welling up in his eyes.

"Yeah without you and your terrible singing," my brother says joining us, earning a slap on his arm from mum which of course he ignores, he steps forward and hands me a bouquet of flowers and engulfs me in a huge bear hug.

"I missed you really," he says as he lifts me up and spins me around.

"I missed you all too! So so so much!" I exclaim, wiping a few of the tears off my face. I didn't expect myself to be this emotional!

"I see our families have met," Shawn says coming up behind me.

"Actually, we were friends when we were in school, we've just fell out of contact!" Mrs Mendes says, with her husband and Shawns younger sister following behind her.

"That's so cool!" I say beaming up at Shawn.

"We better get going anyway, but we'll see you guys tomorrow!" Says my dad.

"What's happening tomorrow?" I ask as we get into the car.

"The Mendes' are coming around for dinner,"

"That's pretty cool," I state staring out the window, finally so glad to be back home. We had a show here in about a weeks time but until then we had a little break.

"So what happened between you and Noah?" My mum asks, I knew it had been bugging her for a while but I didn't expect her to be so upfront.

"I swear if you want me to I'll go round and teach him a lesson," my brother huffs.

"Calm down, nothing happened we broke up but it's fine now. He's got a girlfriend and we're both happy now, no hard feelings"

"What about you and Shawn?"

"Um well, he asked me out." I say making my mum squeal, this is what I love about her. Even though she is so much older she can still act like a teenager.

"What did you say?"

"I told him to give me time,"

"Why?"

"Because he just broke things off with Lauren and although I've been sure of how I feel since the kiss-"

"You kissed?" My father interrupts.

"Yes dad we kissed, so what? Anywho, I just want him to be sure of how he feels about me,"

"Aww Eva honey, I'm sure he does. You didn't see how he was looking at you at the airport, he couldn't take his eyes away from you." My mother says rubbing my arm comforting me.

"Yeah, but I can't tell why. Look at you," my brother says teasing me

"We share the same genes genius, even if I'm ugly you have some ugly genes in you then,"

"Ha no."

"Ha yes,"

"I missed you little sis,"

"I missed you more big bro," throwing my arms around him in an uncomfortable hug.

"Okay ew no, we're not being those siblings," he says chuckling as he pushes me away.

And that's how the rest of my day was spent, hanging out with my family with them feeding me with all my favourite foods, alongside sharing our stories. Me telling them about my tour and them filling me in about the gossip around me neighbours until eventually my brother had to go to his own apartment and I headed upstairs and sank into my own bed contemplating the whole Shawn situation.

"Hey honey," my mum says as she comes into my bedroom, sitting on the bed with me.

"Hey mum,"

"You okay sweetheart?"

"I mean I guess so mum, I'm just confused about the whole Shawn thing."

"Tell me more about how you feel,"

"Since when did this become a counselling session? I really don't know, I really really want to go for this but I'm just so scared after Noah and I mean he rejected me once before. I really don't want that to happen again,"

"And how do you feel about Shawn?"

"I like him. A lot. I at the same time I just feel like for someone so amazing I'm not good enough. I want to be the girl that makes his day better and the one that you know makes him feel like his life has changed since he met me in the best way possible. And I know for sure I would choose him over anybody, again and again without a doubt Shawn is the one I would choose,"

"Eva, can't you see it? You love him and he loves you, neither of you see it yet but trust me I know. Motherly instincts you know? And don't you ever say you're not good enough, you're much more amazing than you ever give yourself credit for. Just once honey, believe in yourself."

"Mum, I think I'm going to do it."

"You're gonna go for it?"

"I-I think so, but can you help me with it?"

"Sure, whatever you want me to."

"So, at dinner tomorrow....." I start telling her the plan I conjured up in my head, her nodding her head along until we finally decide on a solid idea until I slowly start to get sleepy.

"Goodnight my angel, sleep well," My mum says kissing me on the head as she leaves my room. I felt so content, excited for tomorrow....

Hey guys. I'm so sorry I haven't updated in so so long, exams are just stressing me the hell out but I thought I'd do a little update for you those of you that stuck around :P I'm sorry for the lack of updates but please bear with me until summer? At the moment it's all so hectic with planning for prom and deciding subjects for next year and doing my exams :(
