Shawn:

I heard birds tweeting as I began to come too. I slowly opened my eyes and groaned. A sharp pain came from my arm and stomach area. I lifted my throbbing head and looked around at my surroundings. I was slung over the side of the now ruined car. The roof had been torn off and the insides torn, the only thing that looked in tact was the trunk and back seat area. I'm trying to remember what had happened before the car crashed. We were being chased, we ended up flying into the planets atmosphere uncontrollably casing us to crash. I tried to stand up but the pain rang through my body. I looked at my arm and realized it was broken, but what's up with my stomach? I used my good hand to roll up my shirt to reveal several big bad purple and blue bruises. Suddenly something moved to my right. My heart was pounding as blood rushed to my head, I can barely move to protect myself! Whatever it was groaned and stood up to reveal Jacob. I gave a sigh of relief and tried to move, I managed to sit up. Jacob spotted me and ran over.

"Shawn, hey you okay?" he asked as he kneeled down beside me

"M-my arm, its broken" I managed to say, wincing as Jacob touched it

"Yeah, and badly." He said, looking back to examine me

"Wh- where are the girls?" I managed to ask, scanning around for any other sign of life

Jacob got up and glanced at me worriedly before stepping through the rubble of the wreck. After several minutes Jacob came back confused.

"There no where to be found! But I found these" he said, revealing the pups, completely unharmed in his arms

"How?" I said in complete confusion

How had they survived, and the girls no where to be found?

"Come on mate, if there alive then Venus knows how to survive. We'll look for em after we tend to your arm"

Venus:

My eyes fluttered open and I sat up, still breathing heavily from the fall. I looked to my right and I realized I was still holding Aaliyah's hand, who was also starting to come too. I held my head and winced as I realized I had a wound. I squeezed my eyes shut, remembering how I had survived the fall.

*FLASHBACK*

We had begun tumbling into the planets atmosphere completely out of control. The top of the car had been ripped off and glass had broken all around us, cutting and scratching. Suddenly everything stopped hurting and I opened my eyes to see a force field around us. The car jolted again and Aaliyah was flown out of the car just as I had grabbed her hand. We both flew out, a force field still around us and half of the car tumbling down to Septera at a rapid speed.

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

"Venus?" I heard Aaliyah groan

I opened my eyes and I looked to the side as she sat up.

"You hurt?" I asked as I stood up

"I don't think so" she said as she grabbed my hand and stood up

We brushed ourselves off and looked around, where were we? More importantly, where are the boys?

"Shawn" his name escapes my lips as I bend down and pick up his necklace, his heartstone still in tact.

"Hes okay, when we fell out the force field remained, they should be alright" Aaliyah said reassuringly

I looked down at her, she was always so hopeful. She brought Shawn and I together. Aaliyah being a special gave me a shock to be serious, I would have never imagined it, but I didn't want to ask questions to how. Right now, we had to make our way back to the boys....

I sniffed the air, the smell of roasting meat catching my noes.

"What do you smell Venus?" Aaliyah asked eagerly

I gave her a strange look, okay thanks for making me feel weird.

"Sorry, I just liked seeing you use your canine skills in the arena..." she said, a smile stuck on her face

I smiled back and laughed lightly, returning my focus to the smell of meat.. Food. I'm hungry. Venus, focus! It was coming from... West of us, and there's more... Oil? Burnt metal.. The crash! The pups are... Alive and.. Jacob! But, I don't smell Shawn.. Wait... Yeah never mind I smell him, somethings just covering him..

"There that way!" I said, pointing north

"Oh thank god there alive" Aaliyah breathed, putting her hand on her chest and taking in a deep breath

I smiled, but then I realized something... I could smell from miles away! They coud be half a day away and it was going to get dark soon! I could get there faster with my speed, but I don't think Aaliyah can run that fast unless....

"Aaliyah, step back" I motioned her away from me, this could be dangerous on her part

She cautiously stepped away as I let the urge to be a wolf take over me instead of fighting it. I slowly felt the transformation begin, and unlike last times partial and painful transformation, this was a full transformation and even more painful. I squeezed my eyes shut and felt my ear and tail grow, fur cover my skin, claws grow on my now paws. Then the pain stopped and I opened my eyes, looking up at Aaliyah who had bewildered eyes.

"Jump on!" I said

"You can talk" Aaliyah stuttered, her eyes growing even wider if that was possible

"Aaliyah" I growled

She sprang forward and jumped onto my back. The sudden smell of fox hitting my nose...

"Aaliyah before we go, what type of hybrid are you?" I quizzed

"I don't know" she said with a shrug

She doesn't know... And yet there that smell of fox. I began to move and felt Aaliyah's fist grab my fur and hold on tight. And then I began to run, run as fast as I could to where the boys were, we had to stick together, no matter what. I don't know how I would live without Shawn.

Shawn:

I sat there watching as Jacob cooked the meat. He had found some of the food Venus had packed still in tact. I was just here, helpless. My arm was broken in several different places and my head was throbbing. I didn't dare complain, Jacob wasn't trying to kill me and I'm sure Venus would kill him if he tried. Venus... Where was she? Was she okay? All these worrying thoughts filled my head, she could be really hurt right now. And Aaliyah, I had just gotten her back! I couldn't loose her either. The two most important people in my life were probably far far away from me, probably even dead. I looked down at my lap at Sapphire and Leo. Jacob said that the whole backside of the car was in tact, most of it actually was surprisingly. Like something had protected it. Suddenly Jacob moved very quickly and grabbed his weapon. I looked up at him with urgent eyes, what's going on.

"Shawn, look over the plain over there, what do you see?" he asked, pointing at the plain to my left

I looked and some fast movement caught my eye. I focused on it, trying to ignore the now almost gone sun. It was a grey wolf! A huge one too. And with one wolf comes a whole pack... A times like this is when I wish Venus was by my side.

"Its a wolf, a big one." I said, the pups looked up and perked there ears

"Oh no... Alright, Shawn prepare a fire ball or something, I head wolves are scared of fire.

Wolves plus fire does not scare them, I mean look at Venus! She cant live without fire, she likes it for gods sake! But I listened anyways, a clutching a small ball of fire in my fist. Jacob fired his gun and the wolf quickly dodged it, it began to get closer and closer, Jacob still firing at it but missing. I tried to get up but the pain was to great and before we knew it the wolf had sprung up on Jacob and something flew of its back. I closed my eyes, I was next.

"Jacob I swear to god! Try and kill me one more time and I'll rip you to piece
