Memories or Nightmares

General POV

In a cold dark dungeon, a elderly man was sitting in shackles. His long grey hair fell in front of his hung face. There was little amber in them, maybe from his own blood. His dirty hands were stained in blood and were loosely fallen to the side. The heavy metal chains seem too heavy for his callous hands. His left leg was also bound by a long chain attached to the wall. In the image of defeat that he was, his eyes were still sharp and glinting. The door of the room opened and but the Oldman didn't look up. The handsome young man was holding a big canvas gave a look to the bound prisonor and started setting the canvas infront of the wall so that the beaten man can see it. After being satisfied with the position he stepped back and gave a satisfactory smile.

"Someone finally done it uncle. Come on take a look... " The young man said not looking at the other. He heard a small scoff from the beaten old man. "You know you want to."

Juro stepped aside from the painting from Acton's line of vision. His eyes went to the picture of a young couple. A girl was falling into the guy's arm backwards. It's clearly accidental. She was laughing... Acton's eyes stopped at the guy's face. It was something else. Something that you don't normally see in a man's face. A realisation of love. Everyone have their own moment of realisation. First look. First talk. Caring word. A concern scold. A fright. For that man it was this first touch. The way their body fit together. The way his strong arm was circled around her slender waist like a vine. The way her was thrown back towards his neck in a fit of laughter. The way his rough fingers are holding her delicate ones of her free hand while her other hand was over his holding her own waist. Head on his chest just bellow his neck, eyes closed, laughing Adrika had no knowledge of the effect she had on Aswathhama. The artist really did a good job capturing both the emotions. Adrika's obliviation and Aswathhama's realisation. Acton looked at Adrika's face and his eyes soften. He never knew the princess during dwapara but that didn't stop him from loving her. Juro's however were swimming the palces where Aswathhama's arms holding her. Acton knew what will come next. The story. The story of the event of that picture. A story that he has been hearing since millenia. Same story with exact details.

"You know uncle I gave this a name... 'the moment I lost everything '. So fitting... Do you know uncle when this happened... How she was my arms for the very first time?" Juro sat down facing the painting. "I had seen her before. Admire from a far. Gave eachother curtsey bows, acknowledging smiles. But the day I actually met her was the day I went to Island. In her home. For her wedding. I talked to her. She was the perfect woman. She was THE WOMAN. Then this happened. We were going to meet the wizard. I was excited about it. She was walking a little ahead when group of kids ran passed us pushing her back... I was quick to get behind her to interrupt the fall. And she was in my arms Uncle. Her soft body pressed into mine. She fit into me like a puzzle piece. My own body was trembling with the excitement of a woman's touch. No woman ever made me feel like she did. I wanted to keep he in my arms. Touch her. Smell her aroma. After that I was changed. When she was talking I felt the urge to stop her with my lips. When ever I'm in bed she was there.... wrapped around me. I could not look at her and not feel the love... I fell in love with the woman during her wedding. Irony...!" Acton sighed lost in his own memory of Adrika's wedding. Juro looked at him.

"Bored are we? Then let me tell you what happened after that." Acton looked up at those words. Juro never said anything after that moment so Acton thought they would just carry on with their walk. Appetantly there is a story.

"When the children passed I thought that was it.. she will move away and I will never get to feel her soft skin against mine. But she didn't Uncle. She turned in my arms to face me... Her face was closer to me that I expected. She whispered something that I never heard then.. she pushed both of us to a pillar ... She was pressed against me... I can still smell her hair. Her own nectar. She wa laughing at another herd of Centaur children running past. I guess she was saving our feet from run over by their grooves. But for me that was the most intense and sensual moment of my life. How could she never get it. How could she never felt my eyes watching her. My thumb tracing her skin of the hand I was holding. How come she didn't feel the pressure of my palm over her waist." Juro said in a voice as hollow as a broken pipe.

"There Uncle. You have it. The tale of my destruction. I have been telling you this for ages. Because you are the only one I had.. but you had to betray me the moment she arrived. Don't you." Acton looked up and gave a taunting smile to make Juro even mad. "Aghhhh... What is with you and these Yadav princesses. You stuck with Subhadra after the war for all her life. Then switch sides the moment you layed eyes on Adrika. Did you sold your loyalty to Vrushneyi's that I don't know of or what." He joked that the last part started leaving but Acton's faint words stopped him,

"You can never understand my loyalty to Yadav princesses. Do not try... I'm the only person that knows you well. So a word of advice.. if you want the pleasure of killing me. Kill me now. Because my dearest nephew.. You also do not know the loyalty of these Yadav princesses. She will come for me. And when she does you can't do anything about it. Vrushneyi's don't leave people behind."

Juro was shocked at the strange laughter of his uncle.

(Vrushneyi: the daughter of Vrushini lineage)

Palace of Indraprastha

"Don't expect me to leave him behind. He betrayed Juro for me." Adrika shreeks at whoever mentioned that.

"Calm down Adri! The child will be restless." Nivedita said softly.

"But we can't spare anyone. And you aren't going back." Sam said.

"I know Sam. I'm not dumb. I'll be here when Juro is out of his temporary nest, I'm sure he has Acton with him. He is the only person he talks to. He will carry his corpse around just to talk. He will be busy here with me. Then we can rescue Acton. I have the perfect man for it. Misner! You will do it. Aadi and me can go to the warlock city by ourselves. You need to save the Oldman." Adrika said. Misner looked at Suryavir who gave him a curt nod.

"Of course my grace!" He bowed to Adrika before leaving.

"We will be leaving today. Aadi should go underground and out of the city. Sky, Emma and Leo can leave today itself." Krishn said.

"Can we stay?" Dean asked.

"I need you two to go to Trinzal before us. You guys are good at this. Try and find out about everything. Good and worse. The city and Zeus both." Krishn said. "Make us a map before we can go in."

"We can do that. Also when we are in the city it will be helpful for you to mingle." Sam said.

"So how many days we are talking about?" Dean asked.

"You will get 3 days. On the fourth day we all will be out of our respective places and go to Trinzal. We will meet with the brothers then find Zeus." Krishn said.

"And hope he will help us from the goodness of his heart? Come on krishn. What's the plan? " Sky asked.

"Why don't we believe in the goodness of heart anymore? He might. If he doesn't I'll get into his head and mess it up a little. Subhadra ne apni maaya ke kuch khel mujhe vi sikhaya hai." Krishn said. Adrika and Aadi smiled at Subhadra's name.
(Subhadra taught me some of her divine illusions )

"Maasi ki bohat yaad ati hai Mumma. Wo nai hoti..." Aadi stopped.
(I miss maasi so much. If she wasn't there when..)

"I know. Me too." Adrika said.

The rest of the day was hard for all of them. They constantly reminded each other the plan, assuring that they will be alright. Mads was holding Adrika's hand during all that. When Leo, Sky and Emma left, she pulled him to her room.

"What happened Maddie? You are behaving strange. Scared. I never saw you scared." She asked. Mads pulled her by her waist to his stone hard front.

"I'm leaving you knowing you will be with him. What if he does something Adrika.. how will I.." Adrika stopped him with a kiss. It wasn't intense. They didn't even move. But it was reassuring to him.

"He will be in our home. My dad is here. He will be under microscope love. Don't be afraid for me. We will meet very soon." Adrika said.

"This was the first time we kiss without a reason. Last time I kissed you to remind you of me." Mads said making Adrika laughed.

"I kissed you to remind you that things can be good so there was a reason."

"We should change that.. kissing for a reason."

"Kumar..!!! You know right this is my room and people just come in here any moment of anyday."

"You called me that after so long Adrika... I felt as if we are back in time."

"We were never like this back in time."

"Do you miss him.. miss your time with him?"

"Everyday." Adrika said. It's true that even if she loved Mads to death but no one could replace her husband. Her first love.

Everyone left except for Aadi. The time Sam and Dean left, Dean gave Aadi his trusted gun to shoot Juro if he tried anything. Aadi took it without question. No one tried to correct Dean that Juro/Aswathhama was an immortal. From the time They all leave to the moment they heard the news Juro's people entering the city Adrika and Aadi stayed together. When the news reached them Aadi took his disguise as a gardener and left for servent quarters. Adrika was never this lonly. Her brother wasn't there. Her husband or sons. Her only peace was Her father was there. Suryavir stood protectively beside his daughter while they wait to welcome Juro. When they arrived Juro looked as normal as possible. With a dark green t shirt and Jeans.

"Your highness! It's an honour to meet you." Juro said to Suryavir. Who shook his hand in a professional way. The tension was high.

"Welcome to our Home Mr. Nimah!" Suryavir said.

"Juro please. Rani sahiba!" He said turing to Nivedita. His flickering eyes to Adrika didn't go unnoticed by her mother.

"We all know what you here for... Test your luck." Nivedita said giving him way to Adrika. He walked up to Adrika.. Suryavir gave him a look and moved away. Adrika somehow bear his wanting gaze on her and stood her ground.

"Adrika!!!" Juro said in a wisper . "You aren't seeming too radiant."

"You thought I'll dress up for you?" Adrika snorted.

"I thought you would not be here. Thank you love."

"Stay away from me." Adrika said before leaving.

That day Juro stayed away from her because she didn't see his face at all. That evening Adrika was in her room standing by the window looking down to see Aadi with gardeners. They were teaching him how to make flower arrangements. Adrika was smiling at her boy doing mundain stuff when an arm snuck around her waist making her went fro her dagger but another hand stopped her hand holding the dagger.

"It's just me love... " Juro wispered in her ear. Adrika's heart dropped. If Juro looked down he would be able to see Aadi clearly. She felt him pulled her to his body. "I missed you so much Adrika..." Adrika closed her eyes bearing his poisonous kisses on her neck and shoulder waiting desparately for Aadi to go inside. The moment Aadi was out of sight she pushed Juro away. But the sudden action created a sharp pain in her stomach.

"Adrika!!!" Juro yelp before holding her by her shoulder.

"Don't touch me..." Adrika again pushed Juro away. "Ahhh... Mumma..!"

"Don't be stubborn."

Juro said before picking her up bridal style and taking her to bed. He gently put her on bed and get her some water. After some moments the pain reduced so Adrika could focus on the man with her. He was doing stuff which is nothing different than Mads, Leo or Sky would do. Like fluffing the pillow, arranging covers, pushing her hair out of her face. He smiled.

"Reminds me of old age... How I used to do this and and you fall asleep instantly. At times in between my words." He said. Adrika looked at him confused.

"What are you talking about...!"

"Our nights together... During war.. before war when I went to Indraprastha." Juro said smiling.

"When you visited Indraprastha, I was in Island." Adrika said sitting up.

"No.. you came to my room. We talked . You stayed the night.. and we fell asleep in moon light." Juro said trying to make her remember.

"Kumar...! That never happened. We never met in lonesome like that." Adrika said in a calm voice to make Juro understand.

"Ok.. so how about during war.. everynight we spend away from camp on a cliff..." Juro said now being agitated. Adrika's mind was shut because of insanity of this man. "Tell me that never happened.. you never made me food.. we never talked about what would have happened if we are not in the opposite side."

"That never happened Kumar.. why would I come to meet you leaving my husband and children behind.." Adrika was stopped mid sentence with Juro's hands holding her shoulders.

"Because you love me." He yelled.

"I loved my husband.. I can't love anyone more than I loved him. I didn't even think about anyone but him in that universe" Adrika replied calmly without taking her eyes away.

"How is that possible....!!!" Juro exclaimed. "I remember.. so vividly. Your face. Those touches. The aroma. Wildflowers, sandalwood and rain."

"It's been so long. Maybe your memories are foggy and your mind isn't able to separate memories from fantasies." Adrika said standing up.

"I imagined all those. My most cherished memories.. never happened...!" Juro said in a monotonous voice.

"I'm sorry. "Adrika said.

"Has anyone loved you this much Adrika.." Juro asked looking at her. Adrika didn't understand and it showed at her face. "Kehte hain log pyar main pagal ho jate hain. Dekho.. main sach main ho gaya."
(They said people loose their mind in love. See I did too. Literally.)

Adrika knew he was loosing control over his brain and surrounding. She slowly backed away from the room leaving him laughing maniacly. She ran directly to her father who was pacing his room.

"Dad!!" She said as soon as her eyes landed on her father.

"Honey... What is it?" Suryavir asked going to his daughter.

"It's time. Do it. Do it now."

"For maze.. but honey, he just got here. His guards probably isn't down.." Suryavir stopped at the middle noticing the look Adrika had "You met him?"

"Yes.. and.."

"Adri we have decided you are not supposed to meet him without my supervision..." Suryavir almost yelled.

"I know dad.. he came out of nowhere.. please just listen to me. He is in shock. He had fabricated some memories of me from war... He is in his weakest mental state. Just do it now .." Adrika said.

"Honey,  Misner isn't here, he has gone for Mr. Acton. Even if we implement the maze now. How you and Aadi will reach that city?" Nivedita asked calmly.

"Misner left me a map. We can find a way and the Winchesters are already there so there will be no problem. "  Adrika said with emergency. "Get ready. I'm going to bring Aadi."

Adrika and Aadi were ready to leave in moments but they stopped to see the effect of the maze. They saw the illusion of Adrika entered the room where juro was sitting on the floor. She sat on the bed.

"How long it has been." Juro asked.

"Hours. I left to leave you with your thoughts." The illusion replied exactly like Adrika.

"To let me suffer?"

"You choose that path. I'm still here to help you."

"Only way you can help me is to be with me. Can be bear it Adrika.. be with the man that once killed you. Once tried to kill your son?"

They were watching from outside like watching a movie. Adrika gave her parents a impressed look.

"That will keep him busy."

And off they went in search of the city of the warlock Zeus. In a different facility, confinement chamber Acton was trying to reach for the water that has stored just inches away from his reach. The guards were laughing at his failed attempt to reach for it.

"What the hell are you laughing about.. how heartless can you be to laugh at someone's thrust." A young man dressed in lab coats yelled at the guards before coming in. "I got you sir.. here." He gave the glass of water to the old man.

"Thank you." Acton said softly after drinking the water.

"You have lost so much blood. I wish I could give you any other liquid like electrolytes or something. But I'm not allowed to. Please stop this madness sir. Stop hurting yourself. No one is coming for you. Please just preserve yourself. Do as he says." The youngman said pouring another glass of water for Acton. Suddenly there was sounds of commotion. Acton started to laugh. The young doctor took steps backwards in fear when he said

"Don't worry young man for the kindness you showed me I'll ask them to let you leave."

Acton was smirking looking at the door any moment now his freedom will announce his presence. They heard the slicing sound of a katana before thud of bodies falling. Misner entered the room wiping blood of his katana on his sleeves.

"Mr. Acton, Adrika sent me to take you home." He said.

"You are just in time, warrior."

Acton's voice was lighter than ever. He was indeed going home.

An
Tell me how it was...
