Hot water pours down from the shower and relaxes your muscles. They ache, probably in sympathy from your almost-death just twenty minutes earlier. Though you looked around the cabin suspiciously for some sign that your ghost was still lingering, he seems to have gone away completely now. The scent of your shampoo fills the air in the shower and relaxes you with its familiarity.

As you scrub away the dirt, you also scrub away the worries of the last hour. So what if there is a ghost in the cabin? He doesn't really seem like he wants to hurt you. Or even notice you, really. He didn't seem all there until you fell down the stairs.

But he felt so real. The worry in his eyes was real, and his voice was warm. Alive.

You shake your head. He couldn't be. He had disappeared like your hopes of an uneventful vacation. Part of you wonders if he's really gone right now, though. There is every chance he's still in the cabin and just... some kind of invisible. Maybe he's watching you now.

You glance around, suspicious and ready to hit someone if you find them peeking. Only the water greets you. Purposefully, you take a deep breath and exhale. Luke isn't here. But the fact that he was here makes you curious. After you've dried off and dressed in your pajamas, you grab your laptop and do some searches on the cabin.

From what you gathered of Parkside Rentals, the cabins actually belong to individual people and not the rental office. They just loan their private estates to the rental office for some supplemental income. So it's very possible that whoever actually owns the place doesn't spend any time in it and therefore doesn't know about the other occupant.

But it's hard to track down information based on the name 'cabin thirteen'. May as well try 'Luke's cabin'. After several dead ends, you decide to try searching for a 'Luke' in the wider area, in the hopes that you're not the first one to see him. Unfortunately, you don't have too much luck.
