Serenity's POV

NIghTmAre

     I'm walking through my garden. The soft yellow buttercups sway in the cold wind. My bare feet make barely any sound. As I stare at the flowers they now start to wilt. I look at a patch of the yellow plants and I see...my corpse...I look so peaceful... and there standing above my bloody mutilated corpse...was tHe SeEKeR

     He had a bloody flashlight in his hand, there were dents all over it. He killed me...

     "Aaaaghhh!" I awoke with a scream from the horror of my dream. My face was soaked with tears and sweat. My small figure was trembling.

      Viktor wakes and asks with concern at my condition, "You okay?"

     I sit up and curl into a ball. I slowly start rocking back and sobb into my translucent knees. I start muttering in cipher static. Viktor wraps his strong arm around me...and in that moment...I finally felt safe.

     He whispered reassurances into my ear, trying to comfort me,"Shh...its okay...you're still here...with me..."he spoke softly and I felt so calm and secure. "Stop crying...please...your going to make me sad..." I eventually stopped sobbing. He still had his arms around me and I hugged back.

     I stuttered trying to tell him what happened," I-I-I w-w-was d-dead....A-and t-there w-was t-the flowers f-from m-my garden...M-my corpse w-was lying in the f-flowers...they wilted a-around my corpse..." I was still shaken up by the seen.

     "Shh...its okay kiddo...you're safe here...with me..."

     "Please don't leave me too..." I clutched his jacket as I sobbed into his broad shoulders. I don't want to be alone again.

    "I wont..I promise...ill stay as long as you want me too..."Viktor replied to my plea.

    "Thank you," I remarked as the room grew silent, And in this silence I fell asleep, safe in his arms. I smiled as I heard him whisper something, but I was too far into my slumber to hear it correctly.

Time skip   -  To after they had rested     

Serenity's pov

     Aqua bubbled loudly outside the door to alphys's lab. I heard her and woke up, I then read the water elemental's thoughts.   

     "I hope alphys and serenity are home..." she thought.

     I got up and managed to lightly squirm out of Viktor's tight grip. I ran down stairs and opened the door.

     "Hey Aqua, need something," I yawned and rubbed my eyes. Aqua nodded and pointed her blue snout at a stack of papers inside. 

     I read her mind,"Umm...I need some paper...my voice box broke...and I need the paper to speak to alphyss...I thought she might be able to fix it since Gaster was the one that made it..."

      "Sure! I'll get the paper..." I left the door open and managed to get some paper from alphys's crowded desk.

     I went back to the door and ushered Aqua in,"Come in! Come in...I think alphys is down stairs, just go down to the elevator," I told the her, Aqua nodded and was about to go down when Viktor came down stairs with a sleeping Lelo in his strong arms.

     "Oh...sorry Vik...did we wake ya?" I asked him, scratching the back of my translucent neck.

     "Heh..nah...morning...guys?" He questioned, looking at Aqua. But just shrugged it off.

     "Okay, come here Lelo! Velvosphen Lelo!" I patted my legs and the dog woke up and floated over. I sat down on the fuzzy sofa and began to pet the him, It really sucks that your stuck like this buddy, I thought as I continued to pat him.

     Aqua looked at Viktor then decided to just get her voice box fixed. She went downstairs and got it fixed in barely 5 minutes.

Time Skip  -  To when aqua has her voice box fixed. 

Serenity's pov

     Aqua comes back up the stairs and exclaims,"Oh thank god I can speak again!" She shouts and she then sees me and Viktor sitting on the couch playing with Lelo.

     She starts fangirling at us. She then shouts,"I ship it!" And she starts doing a silly dance and Lelo floats over and joins Aqua.

Traitor, I thought as I watched Lelo float over to the fangirling elemental.

     "We did nothing for you to even think that aqua...Viktor was just here cause I was teaching him cipher static...NOTHING else..got it?" I stared intently at aqua.

     "Hey...am I allowed to smoke in here?" Viktor questioned me. 

     I shook my head and spoke,"Please exit the vicinity before you smoke...it is not a pleasant sent for me...no offense...and plus I don't think alphys would apreciate it either..." 

     "No! No smoking!" Aqua shouted and hurriedly swatted the cigar gently out of Viktors hands.

      He picked up the cigar and replied,"Okay I'll just go outside," He said and opened the door to outside. 

     "You're gonna get a heart attack!" Aqua shouted after him, I giggled at her remark. we both sat down and awaited his return. After about 6 minutes he came back and looked more at ease. 

     "I'm back," He remarked and sat down beside me, I smiled trying not to choke at the smell of the cigars. I really don't like cigarettes, they remind me too much of- nevermind...

     "You're gonna kill us all!"Aqua shouted at him and she stood up. I coughed lightly and tried to hold my breath. I was starting to agree with Aqua.

     "Pfft...hahahaha..."Viktor laughed at Aqua, while she just looked mad and concerned.

     "This isn't funny! You could get a heart attack!" She shouted and Viktor laughed again.

     "I don't have a heart...I'm a skeleton, remember? I don't have organs." Viktor countered at the water elemental. She just huffed then sniffed the air.

     "Is that?... Do I smell muffins!?" She exclaimed excitedly.

     I nodded and pointed to the kitchen and replied,"Yes I have regular and chocolate chip muffins in the cupboard, I made them yesterday! Help yourself!" I smiled at aqua ' s giddiness.

     "MUFFINS!" Aqua eagerly screeches as she runs to the kitchen, as if the argument never happened.

     "Pfft...omg aqua!" I laughed really hard at aqua ' s childish behaviour, and I suddenly felt light headed, I then fell to the ground and accidentally hit my head on the coffee table really hard. Everything went black and I felt my soul shift ever so slightly. 

Viktors's pov

"Oh shit....I got ya kiddo," I picked her up and layed her on the couch. At the side of her head was large scratch that I failed to notice. I set her on the green couch. Suddenly lelo comes by and scratches my leg, the dog then scratches out three letters on the floor.

MTT

What does that mean? I think curiously trying to decode the message.

Third person pov

     Meanwhile aqua whispers to herself in the kitchen,"Do they think I'm weak?...do they need me?...am I a burden?..they seem to get along better without me...maybe I should go..." 

     "Nah its okay...stay a bit will ya?" Viktor walks in and puts a hand on her shoulder.

     Aqua sniffles and speaks,"I-I-I think I'm j-just gonna go..." she starts to walk out when Lelo jumps in front of her. He quickly scratches a couple misspelled words onto the floor.

Senenty ned bro at  mtt go now

     Aqua looks curiously at the dog. He then bites her leg and scratches near the message once again. 

     "Ow!" Aqua shouts grasping her leg. Lelo feels bad and he licks the wound. It heals instantly but it still hurts.

     "Is Serenity okay?!" Aqua asks, holding her wound, Lelo nodded at Aqua, "Blooky?" She asks the dog but he shakes his head no. He then scratches-

Carter at mtt

      Into the floor. He then runs in a small circle waiting for their response. Viktor looks confused but the speaks, "You mean the resort? Is this Carter person there? " He asks the dog and Lelo stops. he looks at Viktor and nods.

     "Do we need to get her there?" Aqua asks flinching at every move the sly dog makes. He nods once again, "S-she needs carter, come on," Aqua tells a worried Viktor.

     "Get her to mtt resort to carter?" Viktor asks lelo, he nods impatiently. Aqua goes to the living room and sees Serenity unconscious.

     "Ok..." Viktor picks up Serenity and they head for the door. Lelo goes ahead to warn carter. They all run.

Lelo's pov

      I hope her transformation isn't like mine...maybe she'll go back to normal...heh...lucky...I hope you'll be okay my dearest friend...

Time Skip -  At the resort

     Lelo walks out with a boy with black hair around Serenity's age. He looks exactly like her except for his blue eyes. he gasps when he sees her, "Sis!" He yells and runs over.

     He puts his hand on her head and he goes pale. "Get her to room 4 and leave her..." He says quietly. Viktor nods and enters the fourth room. Inside is a small white bed with blue sheets and pillows. he sets her down on the soft bed and leaves the room. Carter enters and Viktor exits the resort.

In the room -- 

     Serenity starts convulsing and blood drips out of her mouth and falls onto the blanket.

     "This wont hurt I swear..."He sighs, "Happy fourteenth birth day sis... I hope you like your present..." He whispers as Serenity starts looking more solid. She is no longer translucent. Her chest slowly rises and she sits up.

     "Brother? what happened?" She looks at her hands and gasps. she tries to stick her arm through the wall but it just hits it instead.

     "You shifted back...and I think its permanent this time...soo...if you...die...you wont come back," Her brother replies solemnly. Serenity nods and hugs her brother.

     "Then ill just have to be careful..." She whispers trying to comfort him, a tear lands on her shoulder and she asks,"Can I go for a walk bro?" She asks her brother and pulls away to look at him.

     He nods and she gets up. She goes to the door and opens it.

Serenity's pov

     I exit the building and walk to waterfall. The crystals on the roof glow silently, their beauty is unmeasurable. I whistle and it echos throughout the area. As I  trudge on I realise that I'm human now, and that means I could get attacked, I see a shyren and I tense up. Well I should be able to do this...I've seen frisk spare enough times to try...I think...maybe...

     I walks toward the shyren and the creature attacks. White music notes fly toward me, I swiftly doge the attack and compliment her on her singing. I then state that she should start a band. Shyren looks surprised and I can spare her, the battle ends.

     "There back to reality...I cant just walk around looking human...maybe...nah...oh I know!" I whistle and Lelo comes by. I tell him, "Vove" And he grows to the size of a horse. I climbs on his back and lay down in his silky white fur, I sigh and fall asleep.

     I wake up on Lelo's back, back at the mtt resort.I climb off and ask him as he shrinks, "Mind walking back to alphyss on your own?" He nods and starts walking away.

     I notice Viktor waiting at the entrance and I freeze. I  suddenly have an idea and I go invisible. I fist bump myself in my mind at my brilliant idea. I walk silently into the resort and sit down on a bench by the side of the fountain. I fail to realise that I left a trail of muddy foot prints leading to the bench.

Third person pov

     Viktor dropped the cigar and followed the footprints to the bench. Serenity's stomach growls at her, I haven't eaten in a while...she thinks.

     "Those are some nice footprints...mind showing me who made them..." Viktor asks the air near the bench. Serenity flinches and gets up, walks out the door and starts running.

     "I kNoW YoUr THeRe, ShOw YoURseLf." He asks the air near serenity, she stops and looks behind her...and sees a set of prints leading to her. She faceplams and sees Viktor...He looked scary.

     "TuRn aRoUnd And FaCe mE" She shivers and stares into his black eye sockets...their empty.

     I cant let him see me...they would all hate me...I cant...I cant show them...She thinks as a single tear hits the ground. Her feet moved so fast as she ran as fast as she could on the scorching terain of hotland.

     "StOp" He yelled at her. Tears streamed down her face as she silently cried. He somehow managed to catch up to her. She couldn't do this anymore...she began to slow down to a walk and her soft gentle sobs could barely be heard.

Serenity's pov

     "Don't look at me..." I whispered digusted at myself for who I was. I can let him see right? He wont judge me for being human...well...heh...I'm not fully human...only half...

     "Who are you?" Viktor asked curiously. I have to show someone...I fell to my knees and remembered a lullaby I once heard, it was so calming and gentle, I decided to sing it.

     "And why are you running?" He continued as I just sobbed unable to do anything.

     "Lets go in the garden..."I whispered, starting the song"You'll find something waiting..right there were you left it..." I couldn't stop crying...and I slowly became visible...

     "S-Serenity?" Viktor questioned. His eyes were now both black as yellow tears triclkled down his face. He turned around and started walking. I could barely hear his whimpers as he got further away. I knew they would all hate me...but I had to try...

     "Lying upside down....when you finally find it....you'll see how it's faded...the underside is lighter when you turn it around..." I was still sobbing as I held my knees close to my chest.

     But Viktor was too far gone to hear me.

     "You said you wouldn't leave me...." I was so mad at him for lying, and i was sad that he would leave me all alone, I continued to cry. He stops for a moment and turns around.

     He looks at me with regret,"I-im sorry kiddo..."

     I pull out a knife from my pocket and start singing again. I didn't hear him.

   "Let's go in the garden...you'll find something waiting...right there where you left it..lying upside down.." I take a break to choke down a sob..."When you finally find it...you'll see how it's faded...the underside is lighter...when you turn it around..." I takes another break and bring the knife towards my neck....

     "The afterlife always sounded peaceful...maybe I'll get to see it on the other side...." I whispered.

     Viktor sees the knife and he panicks,"No!" He shouts and launches a bone at the knife...but he was too late...I slid the knife across my throat,"Everything...stays...right where you left it...everything stays, but it still changes..." I cough and see blood on the ground before me, but i didn't care and I continued my last song,"Ever s-so slightly...daily and nightly...in little ways...when..."But I couldn't finish because I started choking on my own blood. I fell to my side as the blood dripped from my gaping mouth...

     Viktor just sobs and fades away...all that's left is his jacket...but serenity didn't notice... 

      "Heh...I can see..my dad...he's waiting with the rolling pin...mom is just looking at me wishing I hadn't done that...*cough* I'm coming home...to say high to gramps...and cousin...lorette..."I was crying..."B-but I have to say goodbye to all my friends here...thanks mom...maybe just a little longer..." The wound starts healing and the coughing stops...eventually I'm just sprawled out on the ground crying quietly.

     I notice the dust in the air...then I see his jacket...

     "I came back...but you left....why...did..you leave me here alone?....I...I..I just..I'm so stupid...I shouldn't get to live!....give him back! He deserves to live more than me...just give him back......please...dad...mom...bring him back....." I banged my  fist on the ground in frustration, unable to control the tears as they leapt from my tired eyes, crying uncontrollably.

     Viktors returns with a flash but I fail to notice.

     "Fine...I'll do it myself...Lelo...full scale," Lelo nods with a sad look as if he would cry too if he could. He the bites my hand and I start changing...I was no longer human...I was a full on monster....a real monster...the one that hides under your bed... I had long arms and a hunched back... my sharp pointy teeth stuck out of my mouth... I had a scythe in my hand and a large black cloak...I looked like the grim reaper...I waved the scythe and the entire earth shook.

     A sad look crossed Viktor's face, but then he changes stance to a more battle ready one."Kid......i cant let you just go out and kill people....." He says solemnly and looks at her. My large figure falters and I tilt my head to the familiar voice....I then recede back to my more human form....I look up...and turn around... Lelo walks over to me and let's me use him to walk over to Viktor...I limps over and look him straight in the eye and slap him...I then burst into tears and hug him.

     "Ow! Ok,ok......that hurt......Don't do that again..." He whispers to her and wraps his arms around me.

     "What? What do you mean?....I know full scale isn't stable...but...I...I didn't want you to go...I came back and you just left....it broke my heart...I..." I continued to hug him and cried even harder and dissapeared....this time without footprints. but I was still standing there.

     "Damnit kid.....you gotta stop dissapearing like that....it scares me..."He says and I reappear.

     "Sorry...force of habit"  I say smiling into his shoulder still crying.

     "Heh...kid you gotta be careful..." He stated worriedly, he snakes his arms around my small figure. I nod in agreement.

     "When you went reaper....I was gonna fight you....don't ever do that again........please?" He begged her.

     "I know...." I said gripping him tighter...not letting him leave...

     He kissed me on the top of my head, WAIT! h-he k-k-kissed m-me!? oh shit...oh wait...I should say something...oh, I know!

     "I wont...." I pause..."Promise...and I mean it...to this day I have yet to break a single promise..." I smile at him as he sticks his hand under my chin and uses his thumb to wipe the tears away. He hugs me tighter, "Thanks..."

  "Heh...it's no problem..." I go quiet and fallasleep in his safe embrace. 

Third person pov 

     She was asleep on his shoulder. He picks her up bridal style,"Ok....lets get you to bed..."He teleports them to alphys lab. She shifts around in her place. She then sticks her head against his chest and stops moving except for the slow rise and fall of her chest. He snuggles her closer to him as he walks up the stairs.

     Serenity had woken up a while ago but she just pretended to sleep... she felt safe with him there...he looked at her...well she couldn't see but she could sense it...his eyes burning a hole into her head...Did he realise I was awake?  She thought as he stopped at the top of the stairs.

     Viktor noticed how much body heat and he snuggled her closer to him in his arms.

     Umm....I don't think he knows....okay I'm of the hook...that was close...wait a second....he got c-closer? Whaat!?....umm...I have no idea what's going on but...it still feels nice...wow...geez serenity nice thought...creepy much...and now I'm talking to myself....oh no..it forgot to concentrate on my breath...she thought as her breath sped up a bit, but it was enough for Viktor to notice.

     "It's cool kiddo.......I know your awake........"He breathed into her ear. Her face burned,"Your really warm,"

     My life is over....I am going to be too embarassed the rest of my life to even look him in the eyes anymore....nevermind I'm looking him in the eyes right now...it's not as awkward as I thought...she though as she starred intently at his two white pupils. He smiled and closed his eyes.

...ummm...I-i-im w-warm-m?..w-what? Uhh...Quick! say something before it gets more awkward!

     "Uhhh...you too..."

Wow, way to go genius. Now its just more awkward! I mentally slapped myself at my stupid remark.

     "Umm.....your warm cause you are human now.....its nice.....i shouldn't b-be warm......." He replied to her idiotic coment.

     "Really?..hmm...you are...you're too HOT for me Vik....hehe~" She giggled at her pun. 

     His eyes open,"That pun was so good it gave me a-" But he was cut off by serenity getting up and off her bed. 

     "Don't you say it Vik....I know what you're gonna say...do you really wanna have a bad time?" She asks completely serious.

     "Hahahahahahah......hey' come back im jokeing.....haha.....oh my god that was perfect...." he laughed at her as she walked back to the bed. she got under the covers and looked at him innocently," Not as perfect as you~" she flirted with a smirk.

     Viktor's face went gold as he blushed at her remark, "Ummmm..."

"Hehe~ What? Cat got your tongue?" She gigged as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Heh...ya got me kiddo.."

"Yessum.." She yawned and closed her eyes.

Viktor whispered as she fell asleep, "Love ya kiddo..."

First off.....3492 words....omg i think im going to break wattpad....this chapter is way too long but i don't want to bother and just chop it up...cuz i is too lazy...panda-cahan is toired and neds food...XD..no but srsly guys this was a mouthfull....(that's what she said...lol....i is dirty panda) so this is it so far...still have to update my other books...but tootaloo for now!~

 (sincerely an overworked fat panda trying not to pass out due to fatigue...too late she passed out...and now kawaii duck passed out too cuz she read my dirty comment...silly duck...huehuehue.)
