Darkness is all I saw, all because my friend betrayed me. I slowly open my eyes to see that I'm in the back of a hunters van,  I whimper and hug my knees to my chest.

The van soon comes to a stop, the doors are flung open and two big men climb in blocking the exit to the van. I whimper and hug my knees tighter, hiding my head between my legs, my tail wrapped around my waist and my ears flat on my head.

"Get up!," one of the men yell, I shake my head, whimpering and wanting to go home.

The man picks me up by my favorite (f/c) hoodie and carries me into a big building full of hybrids of all species except mine.

I am thrown into a cage, almost like a cat carrier. The hunters collect their reward and leave to go capture another unfortunate soul. I sigh, curling into a ball and fell into a dreamless sleep.

~~~~~~~~Timeskip 2 months~~~~~~~~~~

I am awoken by someone pulling me out of my cage by my tail, I let out a small whimper but shut my mouth knowing it won't bring me anything good.

"Sit!!," the 'caretaker' spits harshly at me, I sit but with my ears flat against my head and my tail close to my body. I flinch as the 'caretaker' places a collar around my neck.

"Go meet your new master," she said faking a smile and pointing to man who's identity was hidden by a hoodie that had a mixture of grays, blacks, and neon greens.

When I took too long to walk over to my 'master', the devil of a woman pressed a button which buzzed for a couple of seconds, then a immense wave of pain hit me. I winced and tried to not a make any sounds. 'Shock collar great....'

I could feel the man staring between me and the 'caretaker'

"S-so-sorry.." I chocked out as I caught my breathe only to be shocked again, this time worse then the last making me collapse to the ground from the pain. "Only speak when spoken to," she hissed at me.

The man glared daggers at the 'caretaker', "you shouldn't have done that.." He said with a smirk. (Only his mouth is visible from under his hood)

A scream was heard, my ears flatting against my head again and I am visibly shaking from fear of what just happened and from the pain from before.

My 'master' tries to touch me, but I shrink away away from his touch scared he might hurt me.

"Hey it's okay, I won't hurt you I promise.", he says calmly, reaching his hand out again petting my ears. I purr off instinct and blush a light shade of pink from embarrassment.

"What's your name?", he asks curious to know the answer.

"Y-y/n"
