"Nobody Knows What We're for, only what we're Against..."

I feel like there's... Something wrong with the way our churches are being portrayed... I'll try to explain what I mean.

There was this story about a girl who was a very successful Christian singer. Then, something happened. She had sex outside of marriage and became pregnant.

All the sudden, no one would fund her. Her albums were taken off of shelves and basically, Christians shamed her.

What?

No!

Why?

Is what she did against Christian values? Yes. But through it, she's become something beautiful. She kept her baby and now shares a beautiful daughter with a husband who loves her child as if she was his own.

But what frustrates me is that the Christian community shunned her.

Aren't we all sinners?

When the media does stuff like that, they give the world this false idea that in order to walk into a church and receive God's love, you have to be some sort of "perfect."

Which only drives people away from the love of God in His church because they fear they won't be accepted, or they think God is some tyrant.

Another story.

A man who has had problems with his marriage was sitting outside a little chapel. A nun that lived nearby came and asked if he was ok.

The man asked, "Is there enough mercy in there for me?"

What has happened in our society that so many people are afraid that God won't accept them? God has loved every single person with unimaginable amount of love since He laid earth's foundation and His love never changes no matter what someone has done!

Do too many Christians scream, "You're a sinner!" instead of showing love to them and showing how Christ's love can change lives?

I hope this made some sense. Please listen to the song and say a little prayer that more Christians can show love instead of judgement.
