(Kihyung POV)

After I get done with my shower, I head downstairs to see Chanyeol watching A Good Rain Knows, and I grab our food. Just then, I notice him glancing at me a couple of times. I just shake it off and continue watching the movie with Chanyeol. After we're done eating, I washed the dishes as he continues watching the movie.

I showed him the guest room and said, "Here's the extra guest room of my house. You'll be sleeping here throughout the investigation, and since I have the day off tomorrow, I'm taking you to the mall to buy you some clothes to wear. My Oppa usually leaves some of his clothes in the other guest room for when he visits. So for tonight, I'll lend you some of his pajamas for you to wear after you take your shower."

"Okay," Chanyeol says. I grabbed a black sleeveless shirt, a black pair of basketball shorts, and some boxers. I gave them to Chanyeol and gave him a towel and men's 3-in-one shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I close the door to give him privacy as I went to get some sleep.

(Chanyeol POV)

I begin to take my shower after Kihyung lends me her brother's clothing. It was hard to shower with the anklet on my foot though, since it was heavy. The good thing is, it's waterproof. A thought snaked across my mind as I was rinsing the shampoo out of my hair. A bad thought about sneaking into Kihyung's room and hacking the code to free myself from the anklet.

However, I shook it off. Back in primary school, I was in the same class as Kihyung. I was the nerdy, glasses wearing boy that had a crush on her. On the day I confessed to her, she turned me down. She was my first love, the only girl I had my eyes on. I knew she would've forgotten about me when Noona and I got kidnapped.

Finding Kihyung was my main goal when Snake would free me and Noona. Now that I'm back in her life, I have to help her anyway that I can. I hop out of the shower, dried myself off, and changed into her brother's clothing. Then I tiptoed into her room to find her slender figure asleep on the bed.

Why must I be here in the house with my childhood crush like this? I thought, walking over towards her, She is more beautiful than she ever was. I brushed the hair that was on her face over her ear. Suddenly, I bent down. Wanting to press my lips against her as I slowly moved my face towards hers.

I stopped myself from doing so, knowing it would be wrong. I went into the guest room to get some sleep. I looked at the anklet and knew that I have to make sure I can show I'm the good guy of this situation. Closing my eyes, I slowly drift to sleep, with Kihyung on my mind.

(morning, Kihyung POV)

I woke up to my alarm and grabbed my robe as I slipped some slippers on. When I went to check on Chanyeol, I noticed that he was gone. "Oh gosh, did he run away?!" I said worriedly. I ran downstairs, getting ready to check my app, when I smelled some delicious food being cooked. Chanyeol was making breakfast for us in the kitchen.

So sweet of him. "Had a good night sleep?" he asked. I said, "Yes. What made you want to cook breakfast?" "I know you are still yet to trust me, and that you will be treating me while I'm here," he said, putting some freshly made pancakes on two plates, "so I decided to help out while I'm staying here. Including with breakfast."

I look at the plate, and then at him, saying, "This better not be a bribe to get the anklet off." "It isn't," he said, "now eat before your food is cold." I poked my fork into the bacon, put it in my mouth, and felt my taste buds doing somersaults. It was delicious.

"Mm," I said, taking more bites of my food, "It's delicious. Where did you learn to cook?" "Snake made me do the cooking and cleaning back when I was in the gang," Chanyeol said, "I hope you love it." I nodded and saw that he hasn't taken a bite of his food.

I poked the fork into his food and placed it towards his mouth, saying, "Eat before it's cold. It's delicious!" Chanyeol nods, taking the food in his mouth and swallowing. "So good!" he says. I noticed that he feels a little upset, and asked, "Are you okay Channie?"

(Chanyeol POV)

When she calls me Channie, my head shot up as my cheeks burned at that nickname. I said, "Uh yah. Just had some thoughts on my mind, that's all." We get done eating and head out to town. After arriving in the mall, Kihyung called a salesperson up to help get my measurements for the clothes she's going to buy me.

"Okay let's get some pants and some shirts," she says, looking at my measurements. When we get the shirts and pants, we head to the underwear and socks section, then went to get some shoes. Then Kihyung has me model the clothes she picked out. I asked, "Can you play some music for me and squel as if this was a real fashion show?"

"Sure," she said, "that will make this fun." I smirked, then winked at her as I went into the room to change. Walking out, I started to do some goofy poses as she starts laughing at me. Then she takes her phone out to take pictures of me. Every now and then, Kihyung and I would pose for a selfies or two.

Before I could pull out my wallet, Kihyung says, "Let me pay," and gives the salesperson her credit card. We soon went to a restaurant in the mall for food. She orders two burgers, two medium fries, and two chocolate shakes for us. We started talking about the case as we were eating. Then Kihyung started to ask me questions about my role.

"To be honest with you Kihyung," I told her, "I'm also more of a victim in this case rather than a suspect." "Why you say that?" She asked, getting a drink of her shake. I then said, "Because this crime is about more than drugs, girls, and money. It's about passion." "Passion?" she asks. I nod as I explain further more.

"Snake told me that his wife left him and took his kids with him 20 years ago. He kidnaps girls in his business as a way to take his anger out on his wife. Sometime he also rapes, and tape records, them when he isn't selling them. There are even times he wants to experiment gay sex, and uses me as part of his so called 'experiments.'" "Chanyeol," she said to me in a worried tone.
