On Fanfiction.Net

This was the first fanfic site I ever went on, I went back to check and literally nothing's changed about the layout. Also for some reason there's a ton of really bad rules that have been set since 2005 as well as some self proclaimed mod who harasses anyone who writes what is common on practically every other site.

John would post a bunch of songfics and include his own lyrics in some fics. He does it to rebel against the mod complaining about copyright. "What is this? Youtube? Using copywritten characters is okay but not songs? Song lyrics are lazy and uncreative? Face it, your rules are in a serious need of updating!"

Paul would post a Reader/Character fic which he pours his heart into, like how he does on Wattpad. "Wait, why are second person perspective stories banned too? TRAUMATIZES THE READER!? Yes that's an actual reason. That's not just an outdated rule, that's just outright making rules based on your preferences!"

George would be more interested in the original writings or stories involving the Beatles on adventures in the Across The Universe tag, unfortunately the only search tags he can use are to check whether a story is complete or not, the genre and which two characters are the focus. "Can't even have us interacting with the licensed characters? And what's this about worrying the government will take down the site? AO3 and here are still up despite that."

Ringo meanwhile would be into lemons because he wants to break the stereotype from the 2010s that he can't read anything harder than a Care Bears episode. "This site had a porn ban before Tumblr ever did! But taking down an entire NC-17 because parents complained? Sounds like they should have made it only registered users could access that rating."

And I'm grateful that I left that site and gotten a Wattpad account instead
