Since rock and roll hasn't been invented yet, the Beatles would be a jazz band.

John would be the sax player in the group, (mostly because he uses a saxophone in a lot of his songs) and he would protest against WWII. "Doesn't the government think that enough harm was done after the First World War?"

Paul would be the bass player and would do whatever popular dance was going on back then. "Look at me guys! I'm doing the Charleston!"

George would be a pianist but would also show interest in Indian music. "Were Britain and India neutral during the war? Because I really want to go there sometimes."

Ringo would still be a drummer but would often be the first one to experiment with new sounds. "Hey John, do you think that sometime soon, there will be a new type of music? Maybe something... Heavier than jazz?"
