° personality °
this girl is freedom personified. literally, whitney basically does whatever she wants. she's one of the most confident people you'll ever meet. she's herself, and if you don't like her loud and proud personality, please do whitney a favor and let the door hit you on the way out. to start off, whitney is just weird. that's literally the most blunt way to put it. she has an odd and sarcastic sense of humor that only certain people appreciate. other people either think she's crazy or high. but that's her, she laughs at her own joke and she constantly has come backs. she's nothing if not humorous. a lot of her jokes are centered around being gay, so just get ready for it.
okay, so yeah whitney can be goofy most of the times with her friends but when she sees a hot girl and her gaydar goes off, she turns into a femme fatale, basically. like this girl does not play. she's as flirty as could literally be. like, when you look like that and are attracted to girls as much as she is, how couldn't you be flirty as fuck? it's just in her nature. okay, so the classic whitney smirk. this has to be explained. i've already mentioned that whitney is confident. what i didn't mention is that confidence feeds into an ego. and that ego ends up with her flirting and smirking it up. like, bruh, she's young, hot, and irresponsible, of course she's gonna be a little devious and playful. and it always shows in her expression. so yeah, that's whitney. she's a bit of a devil. you'll get used to her.
but of course, for the third paragraph we'll go a bit deeper. past all the goofiness and the thirst that whit has. she's actually a good person, i swear. she has her moments where her morals aren't the best, but she's not truly that bad. whitney's best trait is probably her fierce loyalty. she has her family and her best friends, and she'd do absolutely anything for them. she'd help anyone of them hide a body. it's as simple as that. once you're one of whitney's people, you're there for life. unless of course you do something to fuck that up. but seriously, it may be hard to gain this complicated girl's heart, but once you do it's pretty damn hard to lose. she's a ride or die type of girl.

° flaws °
oh, that's easy. none. okay, okay, lord knows i'm joking. whitney's got just as many personal flaws as the next person, actually she probably has more tbh. okay, you already know about this one, but: ego. yeah, she's prideful and all that shit. she thinks she's hot, well more like she knows she's hot and it gives her a big head. yeah, this girl needs someone to humble her, because she certainly isn't doing it herself. okay flaw numero dos: messing with people. it's literally just something she adores doing. she actually loves pranks and messing with people. a huge amount of time she'll pretend to be dumb just to fuck someone over who underestimated her. it's a bit of a guilty pleasure. what? never underestimate women. it's a lesson everyone needs to learn, and whitney just decides to teach it often. and this is obviously considered a flaw because it's pretty messed up. like, be nice, don't trick people. don't be like whitney, she's got a bit of a devious side. flaw numero tres: she's pretty judgmental. first impressions are everything with her. she'll try and figure you out and judge you in one glance. get on her bad side when you first meet her, and chances are that you'll stay there for good. okay, flaw numero cuatro: her sense of humor. yeah, it's a flaw. she doesn't know when to not joke. and whitney certainly doesn't know when to filter her speech. it's just like not her thing. she's unapologetically herself. oops? she doesn't really care too much. and finally, flaw numero cinco: she rushes into things. she's a terrible decision maker, and she doesn't often think things through. she's impulsive. she lives in the moment, and sometimes it comes back to bite her in the butt. i hope that's enough flaws since it took up my whole phone screen + more!
° backstory °
whitney surprisingly comes from a very prim, proper, and traditional family. her father, roger andrews, was a hard working lawyer, and her mother, jennifer andrews, was an oh-so-cliché house wife. yeah, she comes from one of /those/ families. whitney is the middle child of five. yes, you heard right, five. first came daniel (25), then nancy (23), then whitney (20), then percy (18), then gerard (16). they're quite the bunch. you'd expect them to be a rather wild family since they're so large, but the andrews family is rather... tame. there's nothing very wild or unusual about them. you could call the family rather bland if you could. of course, whitney is the one exception to that. she was always wild, but during her childhood she kept that on the down low. while her siblings were studying or having family time, whitney would be sneaking out for parties and such. she became amazing at the whole "good girl" act. she was just another perfect child in her parents' eyes. it was a well crafter facade. only her older siblings, nacy and daniel (nance and danny as whitney falls them) knew what their sister was truly like. throughout childhood, they were the homies helping her out and covering for her. the parents and younger siblings were kept in the dark about whitney's wild side.
a big part of whitney's high school years was realizing her sexuality. when she realized she was gay it was kinda an "oh holy fuck" moment. her parents weren't exactly homophobic, and they outwardly had no problem with it, but whitney knew they'd be uncomfortable if they knew. whit knew it would just ruin their 'perfect and traditional' family. so while she messed around with girls, she kept it as absolutely secretive as could be. she didn't mind it too much. she was just keeping the peace. she could be herself when she was away from her family, but then play the perfect girl who will eventually marry a good man and become a cute little house wife when she was with them. it made her a pretty damn good actress. again, never underestimate whit.
and then, whitney hit eighteen. and she kinda went crazy. well, not really, but she did move away to become her own person. whitney decided that since she was independent, she'd move a few cities away from her family (still close enough to visit from time to time) and she'd finally become her own person. so she made possibly the shadiest decision ever, and answered an ad for a roommate to split the cost of an apartment with in the city she decided to live in. and that's how she forged her new life, and made an unexpected friend. that brings us to describing whitney's all time best friend: zachary james. he's basically joey tribbiani. imagine how happy he was to find out he was gonna be rooming with a hot blonde, and then only to find out she was gay. he was sad, but he got over it. the first few weeks were pretty awkward rooming together. whitney was still having to get used to her drastically changed life. but then one night, the two of them bonded. zach had been trying to bring a girl home (if you know what i mean), but as soon as she saw whitney chilling on the couch in the apartment, she immediately thought that zach was using her. which he was, but not in a cheating way. the girl immediately left the apartment, leaving zach alone with a hysterically laughing whitney. she couldn't help but make fun of him for striking out, and somehow that started an odd but beautiful friendship. both of them were hella young and irresponsible. they eventually even became each other's wingmen (or woman, in whitney's case). the amount of discussions they had about girls was hilarious. they definitely had a shared interest in the gender, if you know what i mean. they make a pretty lit mini squad.
and then, of course, there's whit's career. she's gotta pay her half of the rent somehow. well, all her life whitney always had a safe place in music. it was her outlet, her first love. but no, she's not a classical musician like every ashley oc that has ever been made. whitney is a bit more modern than that. she's an aspiring music producer/sound mixer. you'll always see her laying around with a laptop and headphones, getting lost in her own little world. but of course, she can't develop her own music label over night. she's gotta start from the bottom, which means a crappy bottom level job at a label. she's at the bottom of the ladder, getting people coffee and only getting a real assignment once in a blue moon. but, hey, whitney will take what she can get if it one day leads to her making her way up the ladder. unfortunately, one crappy job isn't enough to be financially independent. so whitney also works a second crappy job as a waitress. yes, everyone has to pay their dues. unfortunately, whitney's dues are expensive. so she works at a crappy diner, getting hit on by more guys than you could possibly imagine. sometimes she flirts back when she really needs the tips, other times she doesn't put up with it. depends what mood she's in. but that's whitney's life today. she's got a lot best friend and a very full work schedule. but at least she's herself. on the weekends, she's 100% herself. her and zachary hit up all the best parties and clubs and forget about all their young adult troubles. they get into some crazy adventures with each other. over all, whitney wouldn't trade her self-created life for anything. she loves being free, even if it means working her ass off to scrape by. that's just who she is.
° selection thoughts °
holy hell, she was chosen? whitney is hella excited. it was kinda crazy, and she couldn't really believe it at first, but she's actually going to the selection! her and zach had entered together. they knew it was a one in a million chance of either of them getting in, but it was too funny not to. it was like the thing you do just for the heck of it. and then they found out that whitney actually got in. both of them didn't believe it, but then they freaked the hell out. whitney really isn't nervous. so what if it goes wrong? she'll just leave and never have to see any of the people again. and if it went right, she'd hook up with a hella hot princess before heading back home. yeah, whitney doesn't really think love is in the cards for her. she's twenty, that's not exactly the age most people settle down at. besides, she wasn't princess material. she was a little wild. this selection was bound to be fun. nothing too serious, right?
° royal thoughts °
one word: bisexual princess. even if it wasn't all over every tabloid to ever exist, whitney's gaydar would've told her that one of the princesses was definitely a member of the lgbtq+ fam, like herself. and that's hella lit. so maybe it's kinda whitney's mission to catch elle's attention. okay, it's not even a maybe, she's definitely gonna try. she assumes that the princess will end up with a guy, but that doesn't mean she can't have a little fun with a girl first. yeah, it's a little messed up that she thinks elle will end up with a guy, but she just thinks that how stuff works. like she's a princess, which means she'll marry a prince. damn her traditional parents messed her up. she's a little untrusting of that, but whatever. whitney was still focused on the princess. she could get twenty dollars from zach if she made out with her. again, a pretty messed up bet... but twenty dollars was twenty dollars. it had come up in a quick conversation where zach said something like "i bet you won't even get close enough to kiss her before they kick your crazy ass out of the palace". and whitney never backs out of a bet... sorry elle.
