Speaking of the Beatles and horror, two days ago I had a super weird dream where I was watching CallmeKevin play a horror game where Zombie Beatles have taken over and are trying to attack you for something involving John being reincarnated. Yeah it was super weird, must have watched too many of his videos that night.

The Sea Beatles are getting redesigned too! First up is Paul, I decided to change him from a regular bottlenose dolphin to the much larger Risso's dolphin. I chose it since I thought it would be nicer to have him not be completely grey and to give him the cool markings.

Also above is his fin anatomy, the blowhole covered up by hair and the nose which now hosts his melon rather than having a nasal passage. The merpeople genus is referred to as Homo-Cetacea, Paul in particular is the Grampus Maccus, which is where the nickname Macca comes from. As he's from the Odontocete tribe he hunts for large fish and squids, his favourite meal being bluefin tuna.

Merpeople have the advantage of human evolved eyes, resulting in them not being colourblind like regular sea mammals. Despite this they still rely on their echolocation most of the time to ensure they have a successful hunt.
