It was later in the day now and still no sign of dad and Otis. I saw 2 silhouettes outside. I recognised them as Glenn and T-Dog. I ran outside and instantly wrapped T-Dog in a hug. I pulled out of the hug and noticed his arm. "What the hell did you do to your arm?" I asked him.

"During the herd back on the highway. I went to hide behind a car door and sliced my arm open on it." He said laughing a bit.

"Is it infected?" I asked him quickly.

"Yeah but I'll be fine. Just worry about Carl for now." He said to me. I nodded.

"Do you guys know where Grace is?" I asked them panicked.

"She's fine. She's safe. She's in the R.V." Glenn told me. I sighed in relief. "How's Carl?" He asked me.

"He...he passed out. Hershel managed to get 1 of many bullet fragments out and dad and Otis went to get stuff so Hershel can operate." I said with tears in my eyes. Glenn wrapped me up in a hug and then let go. "I feel like everyone I get close to exits my life. I mean my mom was first, then it was Amy, then Jacqui and now it might be Carl."

"Hey don't think like that. I'm not going anywhere and neither is Glenn, Andrea, Dale, Daryl, your dad and your sister." T-Dog said reassuringly. I smiled a bit.

"Thanks T I needed that." I said to Dog he smiled at me and nodded. Maggie was sat in the chair on the porch and asked T is he was bit. We went inside and T-Dog had to get stitches in his arm while Maggie was cooking. "Maggie do you need any help?" I asked her.

"Yeah, you can cut the vegetables up. If that's ok?" She asked me. I nodded.

"That's fine. Anything to get my mind off of stuff." I said. I started cutting carrots up and trying not to cut myself. I cut the carrots up and put them in a pot like Maggie asked. I could hear T-Dog shouting in pain. I wonder where Grace is right now.

I heard coughing coming from Carl's room. I speed walked into his room. He was awake and confused about where we were. I was happy he was awake, I could talk to him again. All of a sudden he started shaking violently I got scared so did Rick and Lori. Hershel came in and said he was having a seizure. Lori wrapped me in a hug. Rick wrapped her in a hug. Dad and Otis still weren't back which was worrying what if something bad happened to them.

I stepped outside and saw Glenn and Maggie I tried to be as quiet as possible but Glenn saw me. "Y/N what are you doing?" He asked me.

"I came out her for some fresh air. And to just think." I said. Maggie and Glenn just looked at me. I sat on the porch stairs and just looked at the empty fields around me.

"Think about what?" Maggie said. I sighed and looked down.

"About What if something bad happened to my dad and Otis and they get bit or something and what if Carl dies. He's my best friend and it feels like everyone I get close to checks out of my life." I said they looked at me sympathetically. "I'm might lose Grace next or she might lose me and I wouldn't live with myself if something bad happened to her." I said to them I had tears coming down my face. I stood up and Glenn pulled me into a hug. I could hear Maggie asking Glenn who Grace was. He simply said her sister.

The dinner we would be eating was set up on the table. I tried eating the food and then got memories of Jacqui and Amy and I thought of how much they would have loved it here. T-Dog noticed and whispered if I was ok. I looked down to my food and poked it around. "Is she ok?" Beth asked T-Dog.

"She lost people who she was close to." He said to her I knew she felt sympathy for me.

"I'm sorry about that." She said to me.

"It's ok. But as much as I try I can't forget about them and it was all my fault but you know everything happens for a reason." I said I started eating my food again. I just wish they were still alive so I could have someone to talk to. We had finished eating and I went outside I saw Beth behind me. "I'm sorry about what happened in there. I just can't believe that their gone." I said to her.

"It's ok. I'm sorry you lost people. You must have cared about them." She said.

"I did one of them was like my mom and the other was like my older sister." I told her looking at the ground. She looked at me and walked inside knowing that I wanted to be alone. I sat in one of the chairs on the porch looking at the sky. I heard a truck drive by the house I looked up and it was my dad. Rick and Hershel came out. I ran over to dad and wrapped him in a hug. "I thought you died." I said crying.

"I'm ok." He reassured me. We walked inside Carl's bed was empty. I'm guessing they were operating on him. I sat down when Ellie came down the stairs. She made her way over to him.

"I'm guessing my dad's operating on him." She said to me.

"You would be right. Do you think Carl's gonna make it?" I asked her already regretting the answer.

"I would like to say yes but I honestly don't know." She said. I nodded my head. I had no idea where Glenn and T-Dog went.

"Have you seen 2 guys around by the name of Glenn and T-Dog by any chance?" I asked her. She shook her head.

"I don't think so." She said. I just needed to talk to them. I had no idea where my dad went. I saw dad come out of the bathroom he shaved his hair off. I wonder why. Tonight was gonna be a restless night but at least I know that Grace will be ok.
