Song- War Of Hearts

"There's a problem," Pansy and Draco said at the same time when they met up in Draco's room.

They stared at each other for a moment before laughing.

"Shall we say it at the same time?" Draco asked. Pansy nodded. "One... two... three-"

"There's a boy."

"There's a girl."

They stared at each other for a long time, shock overwhelming the both of them until they burst into shaky laughter.

"You start," Pansy murmured.

"His name is Harry, and he's got the most beautiful eyes and I saw him when we rode through the village to invite everyone to our wedding, and we've met up a couple times and I think he might be straight but he's not opposed to gay people, and he's so goddamn beautiful and he's funny and he treats me like an equal and I think if I'm not careful, I'll fall in love with him."

Pansy smiled softly before telling him her story.

"Her name is Hermione and I saw her four months ago in a market and she was the reason I knew I was lesbian because she's so beautiful and I haven't stopped thinking about her since that day and I met her today and she's so shy and nervous and she's trying to push past the homophobic words she's been forced to believe her whole life and we kissed and she's freaking perfect and I think I'm already falling in love with her."

Draco sat down, his legs suddenly weak. "Did you promise anything more?"

"I promised her tomorrow."

Draco nodded. "As did I."

"We're a mess, aren't we?" Pansy whispered as she sat down on the bed next to Draco.

Draco stared in front of him for a moment before holding out his pinky. "Pansy, promise me that, until our wedding date, you will do what makes you happy."

She held out her pinky. "Only if you promise the same."

He grinned, and they linked their pinkies together, the promise of the future suddenly a bit brighter.
