"D-Damien!?" I squeaked, stumbling to my feet. I coward in my stance in surprise as he slowly rose to stand on his own two feet. 

"Hey Kawaii~Chan..." He drew out awkwardly. But not in a bad way?

I assumed that it would be, considering we are exes to each other. 

Hmm...

"How've ya been? It's been a while since we've talked."

"Y-Yeah, it has..."

"The last time that I saw you,you were in that video arguing with that werewolf guy. The one with the magenta hair, I believe?"

Heh, heh, heh. 

This is a throwback to the previous book. 

It's alright if you don't understand. 

Certain chapters in that book were crap, let's be honest. 

I wish that I did things differently, like how Zane and Nana got together.

Heck, even the kiss thingy when Zane was ill. 

Like, why tf would you kiss a sick person? That's not normal!!

*Ahem*

Anyways...

I nodded, feeling a little embarrassed. 

"Man, he was a jerk. I'm glad he didn't win over your heart." He beamed lightly, flashing me a sweet smile. Eyes closed and smiling widely. 

"Why is he acting cute!?" I screamed mentally as I looked down at my feet. 

Then I felt my face heat up. 

Crap.

"Hey, Kawaii~Chan. Are you alright? Your face is red." He said, concerned. 

Damien placed his hand firmly on my shoulder. 

"I-I'm totally fine! Just a little embarrassed. I d-didn't expect to see you here." I muttered, looking up at him, twiddling my fingers. 

He backed away, confusion all over his face. 

"I? I've never heard you talk in first person." Damien chuckled, beaming at me once again. "It was always "Kawaii~Chan" this and that."

"O-O-Oh. I..." I began, regretting all of my life decisions. "Well..."

I paused, looking at him. 

My eyebrows were furrowed and I still felt that heat on the sides of my face. 

"I've matured." I said slowly. 

"Wow, really!? I thought you would keep being the cute, third-person speaking, pink obsessed Mei'fwa."

I looked down, feeling a little hurt by his words. He must have noticed, as he quickly said:

"N-Not that it's bad! I find it cute! But being more mature is a good thing! Especially in the society we live in." 

"Yeah..." I murmured. 

There was an awkward silence until I heard sobbing from the ladies' restroom. 

My ears moved in the direction of the sounds as I realized why I came here anyways. 

Aphmau! 

How could I forget!?

"Sorry Damien~Kun. Kawaii~Chan has to cut this conversation short." I said, scratching the back of my head.

We reluctantly exchanged numbers, again, him understanding without asking any questions.

I raced over to the other side of the hallway, where the door of the restroom is. 

Since it was a one-person stall, the door could be locked. 

And it was. 

"Great.." I muttered to myself as I placed my head against the wall. I heard the same sobbing, except it was louder than before.

"Aphmau..." I began, tapping the dark lilac door. 

"No! Kawaii~Chan, go away!" Aphmau shouted through tears.

"No! I want to help. You dashed off so quickly, on the verge of tears."

"Don't you understand, Kawaii~Chan!?"

"Understand what?" I asked softly, now sitting on the slightly tacky flooring of the restaurant. 

Granted, it was clean. But the footsteps of people before us must've dirtied it. 

"I'm a horrible person! I hurt Aaron even more than I already have! I blamed him on flimsy evidence and now he's hurting! He's been hurting ever since we went to from the cabin. And I've been ignorant and ignoring him like the sorry excuse of a human being that I've been to him!" 

OKAY, WHO'S CUTTING UP THE ONIONS!? MY EYES ARE TEARING UP AND I DON'T LIKE IT! ;-; 

She paused, choking up on her words.  

Aphmau swallowed hard as she continued.

"I'm suppose to be there for him! But how am I suppose to do that if I just push him away and accuse him of things he's never done!? He showed me love, but all I've ever returned to him is everything but love!"

"I'm suppose to see him prosper and succeed and for him to be happy. I've been ignoring him and pushing Aaron in the back of my mind. Trying to forget. Trying to believe that I was in the right. But trying to convince yourself in a web of lies doesn't help anything."

She quiet down as I heard her slump against the door, like I did a while ago. 

I sighed, breaking the silence. 

"I know what that's like." I piped up, catching her attention. 

"You want your partner to succeed and to see them happy more than anything."

"Yeah.." Aphmau sighed, sniffling. 

"Before me and Zane were together, we talked about the things he was going through. He would use me as a shoulder to cry on with the nightmares and the scary thoughts that he had during the time."

"W-What!? Why didn't he say anything to me? "

"He didn't want to make you concerned about them. Everyone that went to the lodge with you never said anything about the struggles they hid underneath. You were so worried about Aaron, so they tried their hardest to make you happy in such a difficult time." 

"I never realized..." 

We were quiet once again. 

I closed my eyes, continuing my story.

"I wanted to be here for him when he needed him the most. But little did I know I would grow closer to him in a romantic way. I pressed down my feelings because I was suppose to help him through a rough time. Not to press him with a relationship on top of everything."

I sat criss-cross, since it was uncomfortable sitting with my legs on the ground. 

I like to sit criss-cross on my feet. Not with my tush on the floor. 

I dunno why, but I find it to be my preferred sitting position when sitting on the ground. 

When sitting on a chair, I sit kinda classy, with my leg over the other. 

What about you? I'm curious. xD

"Then I noticed how Zane began to look at me."

"He looked at me with those loving eyes."

"Whenever we talked or hanged out, his eyes would shimmer with joy and..."

"Aaaand..? "

Blood rushed to my cheeks as I looked off the the side. I placed a hand over my heart as it raced when I remembered the past me and Zane shared.

"His eyes would shimmer with love."

"And when I noticed that, my heart raced even more. And I always wanted to be around him, because the way he made my heart go crazy, my knees weak, arms heavy,  - was something that I got addicted too."

"Aww! That's super cute."

"Heh...yeah."

"Then, when he confessed to me..."

I paused, closing my eyes. I heard my own heartbeat get louder as I breathed out. 

"I knew that it was my chance to admit all of my feelings to him, I knew that he was the one for me. So, I accepted his confession. Once our lips met, it was electrifying! In a good way. It was filled with passion and emotion. It was so overwhelming that I felt like I was going to faint."

"And I was so happy that he felt the same way I've been feeling for such a long time. Even today, I still want him to be happy with who he is. Even if he doesn't feel like he's normal."

"Wow..." Aphmau began. "I didn't realize."

I chuckled lightly at her comment. 

"Well, are you going to come out now?" I asked, standing up and dusting the dirt off of me. 

The door opened up to show Aphmau with kinda messy make-up. 

"The tears must've messed it up.." I thought. 

She smiled at me, as I smiled back at her. 

"Let's fix up the make-up before we head back in. They're probably done with everything, and ready to leave by now. Haha."

"Heh, alright." Aphmau said timidly.

My friends never call me by my nickname. It only runs in the family!

Mine is Becky, which is kinda silly-sounding. 

But I am grateful for it! Because mine makes the most sense. xD

Let me explain.

My family comes from the more tropical region of the world. In the Dominican Republic area, to be more exact. 

My family moved to America before I was even born. At the time, I was still in mah mom's tummy. 

So, my household has a lot of customs and traditions from there, since that's where they were born and raised. 

So, my family calls each other by our nicknames. 

Everyone else's literally would make no sense to outsiders who see us call each other by them. Heheh.. (*´∀'*)

Damn, I sure do ramble on about a lot of things...

ANYWAYS!

Hair color?

It's black! And very, very, curly. xD

Eye color?

Dark brown! 

Although Patty believes it's black, although black eyes do not exist, despite popular belief. It's just a really dark brown.

One fact about you?

I like to switch between hobbies, so that's probably why it takes a while for me to make a new chapter. 

I get bored of doing something, and it results in my work space becoming messy... (*´∀'*)

Favorite color(s)?

(For a while, it use to be purple growing up. But then I grew to not like it as much. ^^ )

I personally don't have one. Although I have been to many cool places like Dorney Park, Six Flags, Medieval Times, etc. Most of them have been school field trips, so that's why I've been to so many.

Don't have one!

I really like cats, turtles, wolves, and rabbits. Wolves are super cool, especially ones that live in snowy biomes.

The Truth Cookie by Fiona Dunbar.

It is such a good book! It's the most invested I've ever been in a book for such a long time. 

I recommend it! 10/10!
