Chapter 7: Part 2
John's POV-
October 29, Monday. It felt great to be 22. Even if it's been only a couple days.
...
Okay, I felt absolutely ancient.
I was at my last class, Marine Biology. We were going to discect a turtle.
I couldn't even look at the front. It was too heartbreaking. I was already at the verge of tears when the bell rang. Finally.
I quickly ran out of class and to the Dorm Building. Herc and Eliza were making our costumes. We had requests. So with Hercules being busy, I was usually alone.
I unlocked my dorm and shut the door, lock. What? I was alone!
I went into my room to change clothes. I chose a blue sweater with a turtle doodle and black jeans.
Ping!
A message notification appeared at my screen from Alex.
Alex❤️
Non-stop: hey, want to hang out today?
gay turtle™: sure
Non-stop: ok. I'll come over...
Next second, the door slammed open.
"I-I thought I locked it..." I mumbled.
"HA!" he showed me a hairpin.
I crossed my arms. "Next time, knock. And, remind me to buy an extra lock."
He chuckled. "Okay, John." He sat down beside me at my bed.
"So..." I broke the silence. "Um... Have any plans to do?"
"Not... exactly." he scratched his nape. "Lafayette is with Hercules and Eliza. Peggy has afternoon classes and Angelica's on a date. I just came over, cause I was bored."
"Alright. Hey, you said Angelica was on a date?" I formed a mischievous grin.
"Yeah. With Thomas Paine."
"LEZ SPY ON 'EM" we said in unison, pointing finger guns at each other. We laughed.
"Where are they?" I asked.
"I think they're at the cafè downtown. We could just walk th-"
"Lez goooooooooo!" I grabbed my phone, keys, and Alex' s hand before running out the dorm.
We made our way down the stairs, earning weird glances from strangers. I
"Slow down, John!" Alex exclaimed, laughing as we were nearing the park across the cafè.
"Never-!" I tripped and fell down behind the bushes. Unfortunately, I was still holding his hand and pulled him with me. Let's say, we got in a really awkward position...
We both blushed. I scrambled out of the position we were at. "I'm so sorry, Alex! I was too excited because Angelica has been crushing on this guy ever since high school and like- I got really excited and-"
"Calm down, Laurens." He said, nonchalantly, pulling me up. "Now, let's spy on them."
"Uh...okay." I was still flustered. "Let's stay here..." I pointed at a bush that looked big enough for us to fit behind.
"Sure."
For the next hour, we were stalking Angelica and Thomas P. hopping from one place to another. Alexander and I managed to get enough cheesy pictures on our phone. At least, for that day.
-time skip-
Alexander and I were walking back to my dorm. An unexpected person was leaning against the wall.
"Angelica...?" Alex questioned.
"Phones." She held out both of her palms.
I groaned as we both unlocked our phones. "Really, Angie? Ha! We still have them backed up at Cloud!"
Once we handed it to her, she laughed, "This is why I minored I.T. John!"
"Should've thought about that." I crossed my arms and pouted. Alex giggled.
"Anyways, here. Now, stop sniffing at the wrong corner!" she walked away, waving 'goodbye'.
"Hey, uh, it's getting pretty late. We should probably head back. Laf might get worried about you." I weakly smiled.
"Okay! We had fun. Bye, John!" he hugged me.
I melted into the embraced. "Bye, Lexie."
He blushed at my nickname as I giggled. "See you tomorrow."
"See ya."
I watched Alex walk away, his figure getting smaller every second. Small but cute.
I entered my dorm. Hercules was plopped down at the couched. Eyes closed, smirking. He must be tired-
"Lexie, eh? Kinky. "
"Shut up." I flipped him off. He laughed.
I walked into my room and thought. Maybe I should start another letter...
Alex's POV-
-next day-
I woke up at the shouting of Laf. "Alex, there's a letter from your anonymous admirer!" he joked.
"CoMiNG!" I groggily said. I stoof up from my bed, not caring about the mess my hair has gotten into.
I took the letter from Laf's hand and walked back into the room. I lied on my bed. Reading the letter, my heart skipped a beat.
Dear Alexander,
My eyes reflect a spark from your smile. I look into your eyes and the sky's the limit...
John? We met at a plane... The sky's the limit
You probably know who I am.
Nah.
You got me helpless, Lexie.
I take that back.
Love from,
Anonymous
It doesn't look like John's handwriting. Since, it's cursive. But it couldn't possibly be? He's too good to be mine. I'm just a plain ol' immigrant.

A/N: next chapter coming soon! I'm having a chapter spree! Also I'm sorry this was short. This was just a continuation.
