"This is Saint Luke's Hospital. You are Alexander Hamilton, correct?"

"Yes! Where's John?" I cried.

-some time later-

"EVERYONE GET IN THE FUCKING CAR!" I yelled, tears streaming down my cheek. I had slipped on a thick sweater and pushed everyone, who were eating whatever food in the kitchen, out of the penthouse.

"Whoa, whoa. Alex, what's happening?" Sally asked.

"JOHN IS IN THE FUCKING HOSPITAL!" I sobbed. Lafayette immediately carried me and ran towards the direction of the parking lot. The rest of the squad followed, who looked like their eyes were about to pop out if they didn't let go of their own tears.

"Which hospital?" Laf asked. We didn't had time for some of us to go to Thomas' car, so many had to sit on each other's lap. 

I curled up into a ball, as I was sitting at the passenger seat by Laf. "S-Saint Luke's H-Hospital..."

Laf nodded and hit the gas.

John, stay with me...

Please...

I cried throughout the journey to the hospital. My friends were sobbing behind me, even at their position. Even if they don't know the situation. Even Laf, who was driving, had tears running.

"Mon ami, w-what happened to John?" Laf asked, eyes on the road.

"I-I d-don't know. T-They just s-said that h-he's in c-critical condition." I mumbled.

"Don't worry, mon ami."

"Hypocrite." Angelica hissed. "Let's get off this damn car now."

I didn't even noticed we had already arrived. I scrambled out of the car, my legs weak. I helped the others off and we all ran into the hospital.

"J-John Laurens?" I managed to say to the doctor on the front desk.

"Mr. Hamilton?" He asked. I nodded. 

"Mr. Hamilton, come in." He gestured towards a waiting room. I waved goodbye to my friends, who were all huddled on a bench, and followed the doctor.

"They brought in him an hour ago." In front of me, was a window revealing John. He was all bloody and unconscious. I gasped.

"He lost a lot of blood on the way over-"

"Is he alive!?" I sobbed.

"Yes, but you have to understand. He was run over by a car and his right arm is broken."

"Can I see him, please?" I begged.

"We're doing everything we can. But he is already in a coma."

He opened the door, and lead me inside. 

And there he was.
John. Pale. Bloody. He was connected to so many tubes and IVs, and his pulse was weak.

"John!" I ran over and sat beside him. I take his limp hand. But not dead, of course.

Please, John, don't leave me...
I swear if you leave me, I'll die.
Literally and figuratively.

I can't lose you.
I've lost to many people in my life already.
And I can't risk losing you.

We're two pieces of a locket.
We stick together.
If one's gone, you could hardly call it a locket.

Don't fucking leave me.

The doctor got some papers and handed them to me. "How are you related with Mr. Laurens?"

"I-I'm his boyfriend..." I mumbled.

"Ah. Alright." He smiled. Thank goodness he wasn't homophobic.

I quickly filled up the papers and handed them back. I looked back at John and whimpered.

"Don't worry, Mr. Hamilton." The doctor said. "He has a great chance of living."

I smiled. "Thank you."

"Would your friends want to see him?"

"Yeah but there's 11 of them." I chuckled.

"I'll send them in. As long as they don't make any chaos." He joked.

I nodded. There was something familiar about the doctor, but I couldn't put his finger on it.

There was a knock.

"Come in."

The whole gang walked in the room, eyes red and puffy from crying. You could say the same to me.

"W-What happened?" Peggy, being John's best friend, looked scared.

"He was hit by a car..." I mumbled, the tears coming back. "But he'll live. The doctor said so."

"Thank goodness." Sally sighed.

I smiled. There was so many emotions happening right now.

I was happy John will live.

I was sad John was currently at a coma.

I was confused why the doctor looked familiar.

I was angry. Angry at the person who drove that specific car that caused John to be at this state...

And that's when it happened.

"EVERYONE, OUT, NOW!"
