Mariana was simply stirring awake, groans escaping her lips, she can already hear voices from a far distance, but her hearing was barely adjusting, so it all sounded like an echo and a far distance from her heard.

"We're going to head towards the cafe that's just across from here, you want anything?" The very familiar male voice of Chad her daughters boyfriend was heard, all while she was just a bit confused on who he was speaking with.

A sudden voice sparked her interest, her voice sounded gentle, "I'll just have a hazelnut coffee. Thank you." She retorted.

The room was quiet now, as the two figures had disappeared from the room, and the sound of the door shutting was heard.

Mariana's eyes had began to open, the sunlight hitting her eyes only for her to turn her head and had just seen Samantha on her phone, "Y-You look a lot like him, I think it's the eyes." Mariana rasped out, it instantly had captured Sam's attention as she dropped her phone onto the ground.

She didn't expect this to happen.

Sam had shyly spoken, and grabbing her phone off the ground, "I'm not sure rather to take that as a compliment. I'm not, uhm used to kindness from people." She truthfully told her sisters mom.

Mariana had then easily blinked her eyes, 'cause it was really hard to make any type of movements from without being in discomfort from enduring all of those damn stabs last night, "No worries, amor. The world is a judgmental place, people criticize you and they don't even know you." She softly smiled at the girl before speaking, "Where's Citlali?" She had slowly questioned her.

Sam had easily spoken and reassuring the woman, "Chad and her just left off not too long ago went to grab something to eat. . ." She had spoke before continuing, "There's something that you have to know because it's about last night, it's about Citlali." She was just so damn concerned about her sisters safety, especially if this figure is being this way with her.

Worrisome had officially entered Mariana's body. What could of happened last night, that she wasn't aware of considering that she was attacked and had no contact with her daughter.

Her voice had simply cracked and just attempting to sit herself only to cry out in immense pain that instantly led Samantha to get up from the chair and easily comfort the woman, and had easily adjusted the bed and pillows for the woman who spoken despite her teeth clenching from the pain, "What happened last night?" She curiosity asked.

"She was also one to endure a attack by another Ghostface during the time of your attack, but there's also more to what occurred with this attack . . ." She noticed the woman had tense up, it was reasoning into why she had paused in her sentence.

Mariana swallowed her saliva, "Tell me more." She practically begged, what happened last night is what she wants to know, and that means everything.

Sam had just exhaled her very own breath because she was nervous, her hands began to feel sweaty, "When he was attacking her, he had developed a boner and was harassing her, and I know it's not my place to tell you all of this. . . but, I'm really concerned for her safety, especially because this one may also be the one who's been harassing her at work. I don't want her to be enduring this because of what I had done in Woodsboro, she's innocent." She had rambled to her sisters mom.

Mariana had exhaled her very own breath, because it felt like she was suffocating in the room after hearing this. She's heard all about this man who's been harassing her daughter at work, and no matter how many times they even try to see his face on the camera, the footage is always deleted. Her daughters manager called her two days ago to tell her of this.

Sam had just spoken once, again speaking with honesty, "I understand why you didn't want us to meet. You were just trying to protect her from all of this and me —" She had retorted only to be interrupted.

Mariana butted in, and easily speaking to Samantha, "No. I was being selfish and a damn coward. . ." She felt her eyes getting watery as she revealed more, "I just didn't want Citlali to know of my dark past, and what I had endured in my senior year of highschool in woodsboro, or anything else. I thought, it was best to keep this a secret from her, as for her safety because of who her dad is." She revealed to her.

Sam has simply nodded her head, tears escaping her eyes, "You were lying to her to protect her, Mariana. That's different to the reasoning that my mom lied with the truth on me, I'm just an affair child. She got mad at me when I yelled at her not even knowing that Tara's dad was even so behind me and I was a little girl who read a letter telling me on who my birth father was, and I was so fucking confused, and she's still mad at me for what I had caused until this very day." She revealed, voice cracking.

Mariana given the girls hand a gentle squeeze, "It's not your fault, Sam. Your mom rather blame you for her very own wrong doings. . ." She told the girl before continuing with her statement, "Not that you're a wrong doing, but you finding that letter instead of owning up to her husband and you. Your mom was always a bitch even in high school, I swear if I see your mother in the future. I'm slapping her." She basically huffed in annoyance at the thought of the woman.

Sam had lightly laughed at the comment before questioning her, "Did he know about me?" She just wanted to know since her mom was always a great liar.

Mariana given her a saddened look.

   "I'm sorry, Sam. He didn't."

Sam had easily nodded her head, and tears flowing down her eyes and staining her cheeks some more before continuing, "If he did would have he wanted me?" Her voice cracked.

Mariana had just easily given her honest answer, "He would've welcomed you in open arms, Sam. . ." She had reassured the girl who sighed in relief, "He was getting better for, her. Citlali. He really did love her, so much. The freaking amount of times that she would throw avocado at him, you would have practically laughed. He, uhm never got to see her turn one before he was shot in the parking lot, he was just trying to protect your sister." She revealed a tear rolling down her eye.

Sam felt her heart clench, "Who shot him?"

"A dirty cop, a very dirty cop." Mariana practically sneered, she hates Detective Bailey.

Sam wiped her tears that had continued flowing down her eyes. All of this was hurting her heart, she was learning about her birth father and all of the pain that Mariana must've endured, "I'm so sorry, Mariana." Sam softly spoke.

Mariana had gently smiled at the girl, reassuring her, "It's okay, amor. I did mourn him for awhile, but I more so was afraid to be alone, again. . ." She had confessed, "After the death of my first love, Randy Meeks. The twins Uncles, I didn't find it in me to love, again. The way that I loved Randy, I couldn't love another man like that. So, yes. . . I might've loved Billy but not enough to even mourn him until this day." She gently told the girl who nodded her head.

Sam had then easily let all of that new information just sink into her heard before her eyes widened and what she finally understood, "You're still in love Randy?" Her heart had simply clenched just hearing all of that because of how much damage Ghostface has done.

Mariana's eyes watered, "Very much."

The sound of the door opening, and easily showing two familiar figures appearing that had made Mariana speak in relief and in just so much excitement, "Corazón, you're here." She voiced out, and just attempting to not move as much because of her stitches.

Citlali's eyes practically watered, voice speaking in just relief that she was able to hear her moms voice, again, "Mami!" Chad easily led her towards the bed, as Citlali had gently hugged her mom afraid that she would slip just through her fingers, again.

The three spent the entire morning in the hospital until Sam was called that Kirby was ready for the plan not knowing that they were all going to get screwed over, and risking Gale Weathers life.
