I HATE YOU
:: x. | up all night

It was the next morning and Ashely's eyes slowly fluttered opened. She yawned a bit as she looked next to her. Once her eyes were clear, they widened out of shock. Brooke Davis was sleeping next to her. They were both under the covers, Ashely was still processing and still understanding what was happening that she hadn't notice Brooke waking up.

"Ash? Did we . . ?" Brooke spoke in a groggy tone as she came to realization.

Ashely turned her head towards her friend, "There's only one way to find out."

The girls shared a look before quickly pulling the covers up then back down. As they both saw, they were both naked under the blanket.

"So, we did." Brooke stated the obvious. She didn't know what exactly to say. She expected something like that was going to happen but she didn't expect it to be with Ashely. "Oh my god, Rachel's going to kill me." Brooke exclaimed.

"Why?" Ashely furrowed her brows and her eyes squinted a bit.

"You're like her's and stuff." Brooke began as she sat up holding the blanket, "Where are my clothes?"

Deep down Ashely liked being claimed but since how pissed she it at Rachel, she dismissed it. "One, Rachel doesn't own me. I'm not owned by anyone and two, we've already seen each other naked so why don't you just get your ass up."

Brooke scoffed, "Fine."

Brooke got up and began picking up her clothes tossing Ashely her's. The two girls paid no mind to each other as they got dressed because it was a little awkward. They weren't sure of who else was there and they didn't want to get caught, so one by one they left. Brooke left first and after five minutes, Ashely exited the room.

As ashely walked out the front door, she was looking through her phone. She saw tons of text from Peyton, Haley, and her brother. She also saw a few missed calls from her brother as well. She sighed, lifting her head up, noticing Brooke was about to pull off.

She didn't want to get a ride with Brooke because of how awkward it would be and she didn't want her brother to worry all much, so she did the only thing she could do. She looked through her phone after texting her brother she's fine before finding she still had Rachel's number. So like any desperate teen, she called the one person that would actually come thorough and she hated how right she was.

They both sat in the car in silence at eight in the morning. Rachel was going to bring her home but she knew Ashely all too well to do that. So without consulting her, she began on the route to her house which whom she's sharing with Brooke.

Ashely didn't know where they were headed until they past a 7/11. If she remembers correctly, her house is in the other direction so that got her thinking the only other place would be Rachel's.

She looked over to rachel, "I'm assuming we're going to your house?"

"We don't have too. I could turn back around. I just figured, you know . . " Rachel shrugged as she glanced at Ashely then back at the road.

Ashely nodded, "Right."

The small talk quickly fell silent and Rachel wasn't that far from home now. After about another ten minutes, Rachel was pulling up in the driveway. As she got out the car, along with Ashely, her phone dinged. She pulled it out her back pocket and it was a text from Brooke saying that she's at Peyton's house for the day.

Maybe it was a coincidence or fate because Brooke not being there changed everything. Rachel just smiled as she shoved her phone back in her pocket. She and Ashely made their way to the door and once it was opened, there was no way of getting out.

Rachel has a whole plan cooked up and Ashely just walked into the motherload.

Ashely just stepped out the shower, wrapping a towel around her body. A small smile crept across her lips, realizing she was at Rachel's house and they were by themselves. Of course she didn't think anything would happen, but she wouldn't mind if something did. She dried herself off before applying lotion, then getting dress. She hung her towel and washcloth on the hanger before exiting the bathroom and making her way downstairs as she pulled out her hair to let dry.

Ashely walked into the kitchen that was filled with the smell of coffee. She squealed once she saw scones came with it.

"Courtesy of Karen's cafe. Haley didn't want to serve but when I mentioned you, she let it slide." Rachel explained sliding the coffee and scone to Ashely.

"Thanks but you didn't have too." Ashely mentioned before taking a sip from the coffee.

"True but I wanted too." Rachel then sipped her coffee as well.

The room once again filled with silence. Rachel and Ashely sharing small glances as they ate their scones and drank their coffees. Maybe it was on purpose. None of them wanted to ruin the moment that they were supposedly having. Rachel's hopes went up even more of there being a chance with Ashely and Ashely couldn't help but think maybe second chances are not that bad.

She knows how bad Rachel hurt her but she didn't think about how bad it hurt Rachel for her to leave her behind. Maybe Rachel didn't say anything to spare Ashely's feelings but either way it was fucked up. At least she knows Rachel loves her. She also came to realization that she never got the chance to say it back to Rachel because she was already gone. Now that Rachel's been back, she doesn't know what she feels. Though she's giving Rachel a hard time, she feels guilty about not knowing exactly how she feels yet because Rachel has been very vocal about her feelings.

Time flew by and Ashely was still at Rachel's house. It was around eight at night. She was laying on the couch while on her phone. As she scrolled through her messages with Jake, Rachel plopped on the couch near her feet.

"We're having a movie night!" She exclaimed.

Ashely brought her phone down from in front of her face, "Seriously?"

Rachel nodded, "You pick the movie. I'll get the snacks." She then tapped Ashely's leg twice before heading to what Ashely assumed the kitchen.

Ashely swung her legs over the couch, letting her feet hit the floor. She leaned over and reached for the remote that sat on the coffee table in the living room. She turned the tv on and began surfing channels until she found one that just set the mood for the night. She immediately paused and leaned back against the couch as her eyes got lost in some horror movie. Apparently it was a horror marathon of the scream movies.

Soon enough Rachel returned and she sat next to Ashely, placing the popcorn, sodas, and chips on the table. Ashely put some of the blanket over the redhead's legs, earning a smile her way.

Ashely didn't know what they were doing or where whatever was happening was going to go but she liked it and she didn't want it to stop. She doesn't know how she's supposed to feel about this situation but for now, she's fine with just living in the moment.
