Ravens POV
Its been a full month. Rek is used to us Titans now. She stays home and watches the tower while we're out fighting crime. So far, everything's good. Shes warmed up to the boys as well. We're still her favourite... Star, Rek, and I, pretend that the boys are her favourite. Hey, they'll believe it! Star and Robin are defiantly closer. But currently they are fighting. Robin with his huge ego got angry at Starfire because she kept endangering herself in missions. She was more "daring" I guess you could say. After Cardiac swallowed Starfire and she had to kill him from the inside, Robin had it. "That was too close Starfire! Mish, marsh, mish, marsh!" He'd grumble.

Starfire didn't like being treated like a little kid. She knew how to protect herself and she wanted Robin to know it. So they are currently rough around each other. But nights like this are hard for Starfire. She wants to be happy with Robin, but she also doesn't want him worrying all the time as well. She'd come to me complaining.

Beast boy and I were closer than ever...
I practically couldn't live without him. It was like I needed him... He had the same feelings about me. Right now we were eating ice cream.

Employee: So my dear, what will you have?
Rek: Umm, I'll have the...

She looked up at me. I nodded.

Rek: Minty chocolate. A small.
Employee: Coming right up!

Rek turned to me with big glossy eyes.

Rek: Thank you Raven!
R: Yep.

The man handed Rek her ice cream and she handed him the cash. Once she was finished, she took Beast boys hand.

Beast boy: Let's go ladies.

He said taking Reks hand. I smiled. He looked so cute holding it. I licked my chocolate ice cream happily. We made our way back to the tower by foot.

Once we got back, Cyborg was nowhere to be seen and Robin and Star were ignoring each other. We finished our ice cream. Walking into the awkward silence of Starfire and Robin, we casually washed our hands.

Beast boy: Run along Rek.

Rek nodded than walked out of the common room. Me and BB sat down at the kitchen awkwardly. Robin glanced at Starfire. She noticed him and looked away sharply.

Robin: Uh... Look, um-

Robin loosened his collar. Mine and Beast boys attention grew to them. Our fingers were intertwined.

Robin: Starfire... I'm, ah... Sorry.

Starfire looked over at him with irritation.

Robin: It's just that when you do things like that, it makes me scared.
Starfire: Those things? May I ask what I'm actually doing to give you the feelings of nervousness?

Robin looked flustered.

Robin: I don't like it when you're putting yourself in danger.
Starfire: I am the doing what the rest of my friends are doing.

She said hardly.

Robin: No you're not. What you're doing is dangerous.

Robin said with just as hard as tone Star used.

Starfire: Am I incorrect for wanting to help?!
Robin: No! I just want you to be safe!
Starfire: Well it seems you succeeded in keeping me "safe" Robin!

She said the word safe as if it was a lie.

Robin: Why do you say it as if you're not safe?
Starfire: Because maybe I am the physically safe, but I'm not feeling the okay inside Robin!
Robin: Oh please! Don't tell me you're daring enough to almost kill yourself but you don't have the strength to protect your feelings!

Robin yelled clenching his fists. Starfire clenched her fists as well then walked up to Robin.

Starfire: You are being the massive clorbag! Clorbag, clorbag!!

She screamed.

Beast boy: Ohhh, you just got clorbaged son.

Beast boy said quietly. I elbowed him. He gave me puppy dog eyes. I elbowed him harder this time. He whimpered holding his arm. I laughed at him quietly.

Beast boy: As long as the lady's happy.

He said with higher pitched voice caused from his pain. Starfire went flying down the hall quickly. Robin left the room as well. Beast boy and I got to our feet.

R: Thank god that's over.
Beast boy: Yeah.
R: It was so awkward.
Beast boy: Agreed.

We walked to the couch. BB sat down and patted his lap. I sat down on his lap sideways so he could see the TV. (Practically just Ravens legs on him.) We watched a witch hunting show. Just some scruffy men who live in the forest who claim they "saw" a witch. Many things they'd say would make me smile, but what made me smile made Beast boy laugh till he was in tears. It was cute. Sorta. It was kinda annoying...

Scruffy 1: Next time we'll get that *beep*.

The program bleeped out the swear. Then the credits played so fast that it made me dizzy. I got off Beast boys lap so he could get up. We stretched for a second.

Beast boy: I love you Raven.

I smiled. He pulled me into a hug. We hugged for a while, but than kissed. As our lips played in sync, we heard a little gasp than giggle. We shot apart instantly to see who was watching. Rek stood there smiling. My face turned red. Beast boys ears went down and he smiled and waved at Rek.

Rek: You guys love each other.

She teased.

R: Oh you little.

Rek bolted down the halls. I ran after her. She turned corners and jumped over things in her way. I picked them up with my magic. Her boots clunked against the ground.

R: Azarath metrion zinthos!

I caught the small eleven year old girl in black magic. She squealed. I came up to her. She fell into my arms.

R: You silly!

I played around with her. After this month I became more parent material. I think Star is most fond of my change.

Rek: Let me go!

Rek laughed. I obeyed. She ran loose. **********************************************

It was the next day. Things were awkward. Starfire and Robin were neglecting each other. It was silent while we ate. The butter was next to Starfire which made Robin sweat.

Robin: Umm...

He cleared his throat.

Robin: Umm, Starfire, can you pass me butter?

Starfire also broke a sweat. She avoided eye contact with him. She avoided speaking too.
She passed him the butter. Robins face turned light pink. When he was done with the butter he didn't return it. Just left it near him. Cyborg watched while chewing slowly.

Cyborg: I'm gonna go.
Beast boy: Yeah, me too.

I didn't say anything but got up with them.

Cyborg: Hey, BB, Rae, come see the upgrade I made in the T-car.
R: RAVEN.
Cyborg: Yeah, whatever.

He sped down the hall. We followed closely behind. He showed us the T-cars upgrade. It was better rockets.

Cyborg: As you could see, the-

*BEEP BEEP BEEP!* Went the crime alert.

Cyborg: Never mind.

We rushed to the common room. On the screen was Johnny Rancid.

Robin: Titans Go!

We rushed to the scene. Johnny Rancid was stealing womans purses and mens watches.

Robin: Your days of stealing are over Johnny!
Johnny Rancid: Oh look, it's bird boy and his little birdie friends!
Robin: Titans, Go!

We all got into combat. Johnny Rancid got onto his motorcycle. He spun around for no reason. Robin threw his baterang at him. His motorcycle flew up, but landed undamaged. He came rushing to Cyborg, but he shot his laser at him. Johnny dogged successfully. Beast boy was helping up the ladies and gents. Johnny saw that and took his chance. He went rushing towards Beast boy. I saw this happening.

R: Beast boy!

I yelled. I was to far to reach him on time! Johnny Rancid got dangerously closer to Beast boy.

R: Beast boy look out!

I called flying to him. He didn't hear me. How could he not hear me?! He's gonna die!
There it was. Johnny Rancid hit him. But just as it crashed into him a green light emerged into the air. The motorcycle blew to pieces. The rest of us Titans got to his side right away. I stopped flying and landed on my feet when I saw Starfire laying on the ground and Beast boy fumbling over her. He didn't know what to do.

Beast boy: Starfire! Starfire!

Robin froze when he saw Starfires limp body.

Robin: Starfire?... Starfire!

He screamed. He ran over to her faster than I've ever seen. Cy and I followed. Robin collapsed on the ground beside her. There was a streak of blood running down her forehead.

Robin: Starfire! Come on Star! Starfire get up! Please! Please! Please! Koriander, please.

He rested his head on her chest.

Robin: Her hearts beating but slowly. We need to get her to the medical bay!

Robin picked her up bridal style. I opened a portal. They entered one by one. Beast boy, last.

We appeared in the medical bay. Robin put her down on the bed.

R: Here let me heal her quick and easy.

I said rushing to the limp girl. I know what's gonna happen to me if I do this. I didn't care though. Beast boy was in the background sobbing. He must of thought this was his fault. I focused so hard. I started to heal her. Flashes of Starfires life started up. The citidal and Tamaran. Blackfire when she was young. Starfire breaking out of a cell. I fell back on the ground and black. *****************************************************

When I awoke it was dark and silent in the... Medical bay? I looked around. I sensed somebody. Rek. I turned to my side and saw Rek sleeping there. I got out of the bed. I picked the little girl up and brought her to her room. I skipped my room and went to Stars. I opened the door. Starfire was sleeping soundly. Good. I did it. I healed her. My head was throbbing a bit though. At least I could sleep soundly now. I went to my bed and fell asleep fast.

Morning came just as quick. Are you sure you slept long enough? I thought to myself. I walked down the halls. At Starfires door was Robin. He was sitting out side the door holding his legs close to him. I gave him a weird look.

R: What are you doing?
Robin: She could of died Raven. Gone. Out of my life.

When he said the last part his voice cracked. Was Robin crying?

R: Don't worry. She's here. It's okay.
Robin: Raven... What if she hates me?

I stayed quiet for a second.

R: She doesn't. Trust me.

It was as if through Robins mask, I could see his watery eyes looking up at me with hope.

Robin: I can't stand the thought of my life without her.
R: None of us can. Now I'm gonna go check on Beast boy. Okay?
Robin: Yeah, sure.

I walked past the broken down Robin. I got to BBs door and knocked. He opened it. He looked fine. Healthy and all.

Beast boy: Raven! You're okay! Thank god!
R: You're okay! What happened?
Beast boy: Star got in front of me right before Johnny Rancid could run me over.
R: Yeah. She's like that now.

I said pulling him into a hug. He was safe. I was safe. Star was safe. We were safe.
