Finally.

Roy sighed out of relief, thankful that Peach finally left him alone. Well, them alone. After taking a moment to breathe Roy turned back to the bed where Daisy still sat patiently.

They just wanted some alone time, really. Just to hang out, talk, maybe play one of Roy's video games, that's all.

And of course Peach has to get in the way.

Thinking it's not as innocent as they're actually trying to be and getting Daisy out of there before it becomes 'something you'll both regret'. That woman needs to have a little faith in him. And in Daisy, too.

"Uhm..." Roy started. Although he didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry... about that—"

"It's fine. Besides it's Peach." Daisy smiled.

She smiled.

At him.

He knows this is partially the reason Peach didn't want Roy to hang out with Daisy but he can't help his mind wander to the fact that Daisy sat on his bed, in his sweatshirt, smiling at him from across the room.

Roy walked over to the bed, sitting on the end of it. Daisy scooted closer to him, leaving the gap between them even smaller. Nonexistent, at best.

"I guess I should apologize for her." Daisy sighed. "She's my friend and I'm not making her back off and she keeps coming for you and—"

"Daisy."

Daisy, who originally had her eyes trained on her hands fidgeting in her lap, looked back up to Roy.

"We're finally getting some alone time and all we're talking about is Peach." True. "Just relax. I mean, we're both sorry."

Daisy nodded.

Roy smiled at her before laying back onto the bed, his feet hanging off the end.

Silence ensued.

It was comfortable, though.

But they were 'hanging out', so Roy broke the silence.

"Did you wanna watch a movie? I heard Netflix has some good stuff that got added and—"

"I think I'm in love with you."

Roy stopped.

Daisy's eyes widened when she realized she just blurted that out.

But Roy had complete froze.

Seconds felt like hours when Roy finally breathed.

His eyes stuck on the ceiling, then trailing back to Daisy who watched him fearfully.

"Really?" Was all Roy can say.

Daisy nodded, her hands starting to hide in the sleeves of the sweatshirt.

Daisy looked down to her lap, not sure what to do.

But her confusion had broke when she felt her face get lifted up when Roy planted a kiss on her lips.

Holy shit.

He held her face in his hands as he kissed her. Daisy's moment of shock passed now, as the girl let her hands snake up around his neck as she kissed him back.

Daisy leaned back onto the bed, inviting Roy on top of her as the kiss only broke for a second before they found each other again.

Roy could taste the vanilla on her lips. He had to admit, he wasn't a fan of that scent until he saw Daisy buying a vanilla candle to go in her room a few months ago.

Daisy broke the kiss, finally getting some air. Roy took the opportunity to kiss her cheek, then her nose, to her neck. Daisy sighed, letting her hand run through his crazy red hair.

"You— you never... said it back..." Daisy stuttered between long breaths.

Roy stopped, then looked up at her.

He tilted his head, confused.

Daisy, who finally caught her breath, said, "I said 'I'm in love with you', but you haven't said anything back."

Ohhhhhh.

Roy smiled, resting his chin lightly on her chest.

The two locked eyes.

"I love you, Daisy."

Daisy smiled, bringing his face back up to kiss her, in which he obviously accepted, kissing her back as his hands trailed back up to caress her face.

Roy felt her smile against the kiss as her hands ran around his hair.

"We should..." Daisy tapped on his chest, signaling him to drop for a sec. "we should lock the door."

Holy shit.

Roy only nodded before getting up, walking across the room to the door, twisting the lock.

He turned back around.

He saw his sweatshirt that she was wearing only a moment ago tossed to the end of the bed.

Roy couldn't hide his smile when he looked back over to her, walking back to her excitedly, 'cause fuck he never thought this would be happening.

YALL REALIZE HOW HARD THIS WAS? I HAVENT WRITTEN MUSHY COUPLE STUFF SINCE GONE OR MISSING TECHINICALLY.

So needless to say it was weird but enjoyable to type out.

Also I'm writing another oneshot but that's more of a crack one so ye.
