When I was five, I fell in love...it didn't last

Five year old me giggled as I saw my crush, Hercules Mulligan playing with some blocks.

He ran from me, literally ran from me. And being Kenyan he ran fast.

I ran towards him, my hair tangled in my face, hands covered in red paint I used for art class, and face covered in dirt. He turned at me, his eyes widened and ran screaming.

I waited hours inside his tent with flowers, which made him laugh which made me cry.
