Opening up on a hot day in the school yard, when the preschoolers play. We see a boy with Green hair, crying slightly. He currently facing 3 other young boys, making fun of a girl.

This 4 year old boy is Izuku Midoriya. He is shy, but has a big heart.

Izuku: Why are you being so mean! You're making her cry Kacchan!

The boy that he called Kacchan's real name, was Katsuki Bakugou. He was the same age as Izuku and, for a lack of a better word, is a hot headed brat. A blond boy is a mean look in his eye.

The girl that Izuku was trying to protect had black with natural red highlights and was also the same age. They were all part of the same class.

She was Ruby Rose, the girl with sliver eyes.

Ruby: M-Midoriya! I'm *sniff* fine! *Sobbing a little bit more* I don't want you do get involved...

Izuku refused to listen. Izuku wasn't a very popular kid. He didn't have many friends. The ones he did have... Are currently bullying him and his other friend.

Ruby was one of the only friends he had, and he hated to see her hurt.

Izuku: If you don't stop hurting her Kacchan, T-Than I'll make you stop myself!!!

He yelled out, mustering up all of the courage in him to face his old friend, and now bully.

Bakugou was first confused, but than had a devilish grin after seeing Izuku let this.

Bakugou: You don't stand a chance without a quirk... Deku!

"Deku" Is another word to call someone useless. And Kacchan and his friends have been call him this for almost a year. Calling a him a "Deku" A useless, scared little boy.

Kacchan and his two friends launch themselves at Izuku, ready to pound him into the ground.

???: Hey!

Another girl yelled out. She was 2 years older than Izuku and the others, at 6 years old. She had long blond hair, and her normal extremely light blue eyes have turned into a burning red.

Her name was Yang, and she was Ruby's older sister.

Yang: Leave both of them alone!

Bakugou: Uh? Who are you supposed to be?

Yang: My name is Yang! And stop picking him and my little sister!!

Bakugou: Wait, she's your little sister? ... *Smirking* Well I guess I feel sorry for having you having such weaklings as friends and family.

In a fit of rage, Yang wet up in a burst of flames. She was completely surround with flames and her eyes were blood shot with rage.

Yang: WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY, YOU BRAT!!!

She then started to run at them with all for her might, and Bakugou and his gain did the same...

10 years later...

Here's the sad truth, not all men are created equal. Being unable to help Yang and causing all 3 of them to get beat up that day caused little Izuku to realize that. But instead of letting it just bring him down, he only uses to grow.

When he heads to school, he runs with a big smile on his face. Waiting restlessly at every stop light to get to his destination.

He always has a smile of his face. Shining brightly... Just like a Beacon.

Episode 1. Shining Deku

For as long as the humanity has walked along the Earth, they have had to share it with the creatures know as Grimm.

The Grimm are mindless beasts, knowing only to kill and to cause destruction and death. Humanity at first, had much trouble holding these monsters at bay... But we soon discovered the item know as dust. Crystals, that could harness the powers of the elements. With this, they were able to hold the Grimm back. But it was a constant struggle. Fighting an endless battle between good and evil...

That was until that fatefull day...

A bady was born, born while admitting a bright life coming of of it body.

At first they that it was a semblance.

A semblance, being a power produced from our aura, as a power only one can use.

However, this was a baby. That even when their aura runs dry... That child was still able to produce the light from its body.

Setting in stone that this wasn't a semblance.

It was a "Quirk"

At first, we thought they were completely separate form Aura, but infact, it's a gate way.

This new "Quirk" gene spred fast. And soon, 80% of the world had a quirk. And Humanity continued to evolve, quirk and Aura mixed together in an odd way.

All studies were showing, that a quirk is your first sign that you're unlocking your aura. And you can grow to use your aura and become stronger. However... Those without a quirk, are shown to have trouble controlling aura... and as time went on... it was official.

If you didn't have a quirk, you will not be able to control your aura, and use it to defend yourself.

And if you wanted to become of a Huntsman/Huntress... Tough luck.

Speaking of which, HUNTSMAN! This world's version, of super heroes. They protect the populous, and save the day. Like the ones in the story books.

That is the dream of our little buddy. Izuku Midoriya.

Like Bakugou said earlier... He doesn't have a quirk. So... He can't admit aura. He still has it of course, if he didn't, he wouldn't have a soul. But he just can use it like everyone else can.

How will he combat this? Well... Let's find out.

Teacher: All right everyone. It's time tinker with your equipment. Let's see what we can improve on today.

The teacher rang out to the class.

This was Izuku Midoriya's eacher of this year. Taiyang Xiao Long. Coincidentally, he is also the father of Ruby and Yang. The girls that Izuku meet 10 years ago.

Bakugou (cocky): Come Teach. I don't need a toon up. You can't improve perfection.

Katsuki Bakugou. He is still, after all these years, still a hothead who thinks he's the center of the world.

Taiyang: *Sigh* Now Bakugou. There is always something to improve apon. (Your ego is one thing) And if you wanna get into Beacon next year, you'll need to learn that.

Random student 1: You're applying for Beacon 2 years early?!

Random student 2: They only take students 1 or 2 years early with the hardest written exam you'll ever see!

Random student 3: No to mention the combat exam that only has a 0.2 percent ascendance rate!

Bakugou: That's why it's only right that I go early!

Bakugou jumps out from his seat, standing on the desk.

Bakugou: I aced all the mach test! I'm the only one only one at this school who can go as soon as possible!

The school that they are currently going to, is Signal academy. To become a huntress and or huntsman, you need to enroll in these prep school before. It's the only way you'll stand a chance at without training your whole life for it.

Bakugou: I'll become more popular then All Might. And become the richest Huntsman of all time! People all across the world will know who I am, AND IT STARTS AT BEACON ACADEMY!

Of course, since the Huntsman and huntresses are actually jobs, you get compensated for your trouble. And "All Might" is know as one of, if not, the most powerful and popular Huntsman that has ever walked the planet. Huntsman and Huntresses are ranked based on popularity and how well they do their jobs. Like how many jobs have you taken, how well did you do those jobs, how many Grimm did you kill, so on and so forth.

And All Might not only has the public on his side, but he has saved more people than anyone else.

Taiyang: Oh yeah, Midoriya, don't you wanna go to Beacon early too?

Izuku freezes, putting his head down as the whole class stares at him. As I've told you before, he has no Quirk. As such, the aura trapped in his body is unable to come out. So no Quirk, no Aura, no Aura... You're most likely to die on the first day of training. Everyone around him, knowing this starts bursting into laughter.

Random Student 4: Midoriya! You're kidding right?!

Random Student 5: There's no way you'll ever get in to Beacon! Let alone 2 years early!

Random Student 6: I don't even know why let him 'here'! He's at the bottom of the class anyway!

Izuku trying to muster up any confidence within himself, stands out of chair shacking profusely.

Izuku: A-Acutally! There's no r-rule you n-need a Quirk to be able to join any combat school! S-So maybe I could-

Feed up with Deku's 'nonsensical' rant, Bakugou uses his powerful quirk on Izuku's desk. Not enough to actually cause 'too' much damage to the desk, but enough to blow Deku pit of his seat.

Bakugou then stands, towering over little Izuku and talks down upon him, with a devilish wide grin on his face.

Bakugou: Listen up Deku! You're even worse than the rest of these damn rejects, you Quirkless Wannabe! You really think they'd let someone like you in when they can have me!

Izuku, terrified, panics and try to defend his current stance...

Izuku: No wait! You've got it all wrong! I'm not try to compete against you-

Izuku then realizes that his back is up against the... Literally. The explosion took him from his seat from the dead center of the classroom to the back behind everyone. And with the classroom not being that big, when he was backing up to try an get a little distance from him and his bully... He ended up hitting the classroom wall.

Izuku: Y-Y-YOU'VE GOTTA BELIEVE ME!

Starting to calm down just a little, he speaks in a much softer tone. Still trying to defend his stance on his choice of trying to be a Huntsman.

Izuku: It's just that... I've wanted to be a Huntsman since I was little. I may not be able to use Aura, or have any abilities... But I have my weapon, and can still try my hardest. Can't I?

Bakugou, both giggling slightly from Deku's childish delusion, and pissed at the fact that he REALLY believes in every word that just came out of his mouth. He just starts yelling again.

Bakugou: You'll never be able to hang with the best of the best! You'd die in the exams! I'd bet you'd pissed yourself just looking a Beowolf in the eye! Useless Deku! This school's crappy enough as it, You really wanna embarrass it more by failing like a loser-

*Slam!*

That sound caused everyone, even Bakugou, to stop laughing and and look back to the front of the class. Tai, having enough of this, with his eyes blood shot red like Yang whenever she's mad. Shouts out!

Taiyang: Bakugou! That! Is! Enough! I'm sending you to the principal's office, AGAIN! The second time this month! If you get sent there again, you will be expelled! Do you understand!

Bakugou, not caring to much about this, just makes his way to the principal's office. But not before glaring at Izuku one last time with the same, condescending smile as always.

Taiyang: As for the rest of you, I want all of you to apologize to Midoriya. Right! Now!

The whole class, always being scared when the teacher yells, face toward Izuku at take a bow.

Whole class: We apologize!

Random Student 7: *cough* Not *cough*

This comment cause some of the classmates to giggle.

Taiyang: Looks like we're sending 'another' student to the principal's office!

Random Student 7, being to scared to say anything (also having the RWBY volume 1 budget) just walks off and head to the principal's office as well.

Taiyang: Now the next person that says "Deku" is getting detention.

Izuku was always grateful for his teacher. Taiyang had no tolerance for bullies. He believed that it was pitiful for people to make others fell down about themselves when they were just minding their own business. The only reason he didn't send Bakugou to the principal as soon as the desk exploded, was because... He had some faith. Faith in Midoriya. That we would at least 'try' to stand up for himself this time. And to some extent... He was right. Midoriya would usually just cower and just let Bakugou do want he wants. But this time, he actually 'tried'! And... It didn't work. But in Tai's eyes. It's progress.

Finally, Tai starts to claim down. His eyes go back the their usual blue, and they go back the weapon tune that everyone was supposed to do. Before Bakugou started to show off of course.

Timeskip brought to you by Chibi Bakugou getting chewed out by the principal, but not really caring all that much.

After that incident, class went on as per normal. The school day ended and Tai when to school grade a few test papers he didn't get our to doing. Most of the students left the classroom already, so the one left in the room is Izuku. Checking news sites about Huntsman and resent battles.

"Man, I can't believe I missed this battle today with a Giant Grimm. Looks like that new Huntress 'Mt.Lady' took care of it... Wow! In on attack?! The new Huntsman of this age are real rising stars!"

Izuku thinks to himself. Izuku then pulls out his 'Huntsman Note.' Or at least that's what he calls it. It's like a document of All of the greatest Huntsman and Huntresses that catch his eye. Like All Might, or his teacher Tai. He was a Huntsman before he started to teach the kids at Signal. However now it's more of a side job. Izuku, wanting to be a Huntsman, has taken notes about all kinds of Huntsman of all shapes and sizes. Listing their quirks, their weapons, their semblances, and their fighting styles down. To the point where it's almost a little weird. Plus (ultra), don't think that he was able to keep in all down in just one Notebook. Nope! He has about 20 of these things. 20 Notebooks, filled to the brim with notes on every Huntsman he has ever fan boy'd over. As of now, the newest one being 'Mt.Lady'.

This was just a rough sketch of the picture he found online. However, he plans to read more about her when he gets back home.

But... However... Something else made it's way over to Izuku just as he was finishing up his sketch...

"BOO!"

With this spook that came up behind him, he jumped in his chair, letting out a little squeal. The person placed their hands on his shoulder, as to give the extra jump to their scare.

Izuku was very frightened at the little jump scare... But an anime like sweat drop hell down his hand when he realized that only one person would do this to him.

That person is none other, than Ruby Rose. That friend he made over 10 years ago, and has stuck with him to this day. Despite everyone in school calling him a 'Quirkless loser'. She knows all too well about Izuku's lack of a power. She knows every bit of his pain, his struggles, his life goals...

Even with that knowledge, she still is his friend. She stilll is here to help her friend any rate. Her AND her older sister, Yang.

After that scare she give Izuku, she couldn't help but giggle. Giggle on how he got so scared in that moment. She tries her very best to suppress the laughter... Izuku sees this and sighs. Both mentally, and physically.

Izuku: *Sigh* ... Go ahead. Get your laughter out Ruby.

Having Izuku give the 'Okay' means she was free to laugh till her hearts contend. She well indeed took full advantage of said opportunity.

She a small while before she could get a grip on herself, but she did.

Ruby: *Giggling* Sorry Izuku. I just couldn't help myself when you seems so focused.

After all these years both Izuku and her have gotten very close, along with Yang. As such calling each other by first name, even though it is considered slightly rude to do so, was naturally for them. It was almost a little weird for them to do otherwise.

Ruby did not share the same class as Izuku. She was in a different class, a class that taught by her Uncle. Qrow. Her family has an act for being teachers it seems like.

Ruby: Ready to wall home?

Izuku: Yeah, let me just put this a-

Midoriya was interpreted by the sudden shock. He was planning on putting his Notebook back in his backpack and walking home with Ruby and Yang as they usually do. However, as he was doing that, Katuski Bakugou had just gotten out of the principal's office. He swiped the book right out of Deku's finger tips, and started to wave the book back and forth tauntingly. With a smug, yet angry look on his face.

Bakugou: I don't know what you think your doing Deku, but we're not done.

Ruby: Ugh, of course it's you. Aren't you supposed to be in the principal's office... Again.

Bakugou: This doesn't involve you bright eyes. So stay out of it.

Bakugou had two of... Well not friends. More like lackies. Or at least that's what he thinks of them. They were always the first in line to bully Izuku. They could almost never get the chance to in class. The only reason Bakugou did its was cause he heard that Deku really was trying to get in early. So without thinking, he had an outburst.

Lackey 1: Whatcha got? His diary?

They then see what he wrote on the front as Bakugou help it up.

"Izuocha for life👄💋💘❤💓💔💕💖💗💙💚💛🧡💜🖤💝💞💟❣💌😍🤩😗😙☺😆😉😋😀😂😃😅😘🤑🙃🤤😝😛😌🤯🤪🤭🤓☻😈"

"Huntsman Analysis for the Future"

Lackey 2: Don't tell me your taking note on how to be a Huntsman! That's so pathetic!

Both of the Lackies started to laugh at Izuku. While Izuku was just planning on shrugging it off, Ruby would not just stand by and let her friend be made fun of.

Ruby: No it's not! He's learning from the best of the best! I think he's just being smart.

Bakugou: Yeah, yeah. No one cares what you think.

Fed up with both of them, Bakugou decides that he needs to end Izuku's delusion. Right here, right now. He can't be caught bullying Izuku one more time or he'll be expelled and never get into Beacon. So he has to make his point. Clear, and be done with Deku, once and for all.

He presses his hands together, with Deku's Notebook between them. And in one second, the book is in perfect condition... The next... He uses his explosion quirk to burn the Notebook. Not completely ruining it, but leaving it burned and scorched. Still usable, but it obviously isn't looking so good. And as the cherry on top, Bakugou throws it over his shoulder, and out the class window. Bare in mind, their classroom is on the second floor of the school. So that book drops to the ground with a thud.

Izuku and Ruby were at a complete lose for words. He really did that! With a dead, lifeless expression. Doing as something that... You just 'do'! No explanation needed.

Bakugou: Most first rate Huntsman show potential early on. People look at them and know they're just destined for greatness. When I go two years early to Beacon, and start showing up all the kids two years older than me, they'll know I'm the real deal. That's not ego talking, I just know I'm good.

Bakugou... Wanting to make sure to engrave this mentality into Deku's head, he puts is hands on his shoulder. Not in a kind way, but in the very intimidating way. Smoking up his hand with his quirk. Burning Izuku's shoulder slightly.

Bakugou: So here's a word of advice nerd... Don't even think about applying... Not now, not next year. Not at all... Or else.

Izuku couldn't move, he was scared out of his mind. All he could do... was just have his mouth hang. Being frozen in time. Ruby had a little more control over herself, but she still couldn't do anything. She felt down about herself, not being able to help Izuku when his Notebook was destroyed and his spirit was almost literally burnt alive.

So Bakugou and his underlings take there leave.

Lackey 1: That's just sad. I thought you would at least have some fight in you.

Lackey 2: He finally gets it. He'll never be a Huntsman. Better to find out now instead of later I guess.

Bakugou: ... You know, if you really wanna be a Huntsman that badly, there actually might be another way.

*Slide*

That was the sound of the classroom door being slide open. Someone else walked into the room. But Bakugou, having his back turned, looking at Deku and Ruby, and with him not really paying attention to anything other than himself, he doesn't realize that someone just entered the room. Izuku and Ruby also didn't notice as they're backs were turned, and they were some what off in their own little worlds, but can still here Bakugou's voice.

Bakugou: Just pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life... So take a swan dive off the roof of the building.

Bakugou could only chuckle at his ruthless comments... While Izuku and Ruby had very different reactions. Ruby was completely blow away. Bakugou just took all of Izuku's dream, and literally burned them down into ash and smoke. Now he's just rubbing salt in Izuku's open wound. But to actually go that far? What was completely unnecessary, so uncalled for, and crossing all the line that there were.

Izuku... was enraged. He couldn't believe it. This guy actually went there. This goes beyond just teasing, this going beyond anything he has ever done or said to him. He was completely and utterly through with Bakugou and his tormenting comments.

He turned around, ready to lay into Bakugou what he had on his mind. Ready to show him that he went to far... But he froze again, and so did Ruby after they turned around. They quickly realized that... Bakugou is gonna get what coming to him.

Bakugou, finished with his taunting, decides to actually take his leave. But the second he turns around, he is grabbed by the collar and shoved against the wall of the classroom. Now his collar is admitting smoke just like he did to Izuku. And again, in such a fast motion, no one could see it.

*Crash*

That was the sound of the person that pinned Bakugou to the wall, slamming their fist into the wall. Grazing Bakugou's cheek slightly, drawing the tiniest bit of blood. As well as creating a small little crater in the wake of their fist.

Bakugou finally gets a grip on the situation, and understanding that he his being threatened, looks up at his attack. Her eyes were fire red, and her fist were ready to crack Bakugou's head like a egg. She had long blonde hair and an inch over the 5'7 Katsuki.

Yang Xiao Long. The older sister over Ruby. The one who trashed a dance club the other week. The one of the two people the stuck by Izuku's side after all these years. And the one who is about to murder Bakugou in cold blood.

The tension was high between everyone in the room. Yang stared Bakugou with a mighty rage, a rage that could but a bull's to shame 6x over. The lackies were full on ready to book it out of the classroom and leave Bakugou to fend for himself... But they know that Yang would eventually hunt them down too. Putting the 'Hunt' in 'Huntress'. Bakugou... He was still. Not moving a muscle. The truth is, Bakugou is top of 'his' year's combat class, yes. But Yang is 2 years ahead of him. As was top of 'her' years class. She decided to take both years at Signal and then go onto Beacon. The normal way. As such, her and Bakugou have only fought on special occasions. Special events that have allowed them to fight without getting in trouble... And though it would be a hard fought battle, Yang would be the one that comes out victorious every single time. He's not stupid, he knows that he can't take on Yang in a 1 on 1 fight... So he my not want to admit it... But he is (if only a little) scared. And Ruby didn't want Yang to get into another fight... But after what Bakugou said to her friend, no her and her sister's friend... The other half of Ruby was just saying 'Get him Big Sis'.

Yang: ... Just who do you think you are.

Bakugou: ... What-

Yang: How, DARE you say that to him. He has never, EVER done one bad thing to you. He was shown you nothing but kindness and respect... And not only did you turn you back on him as a friend all those years ago... You do... This.

Yang Xiao Long. Quirk: Eruption. She can have her body admit a powerful heat that makes her eyes glow red. The more enraged she is or the more intense the battle/situation she's in, the flame within her burns bigger and brighter!

And right now... Her flame could burn down her own house if she walked in it. She is currently trying her best to not activate her quirk so as to not cause more damage to the school than she already has with that punch.

Yang: ... You... You're gonna regret EVERY WORD THAT JUST CAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH YOU LITTLE-

Izuku: YANG!!!

It seems that this room keeps coming to small sketching holt every few seconds. Izuku yelled out as he knew Yang well enough that she was about to do something she was going to regret. You see, this isn't the first time Yang has gotten into a fight because she saw how people treated him. They're has been several over the years. Too many to count or remember... But this has led to her track record not being the best. After a resent fight... The principle had enough. He said if Yang got into one more unauthorized fight, she would be expelled. Ruining she chance to be a Huntress. Which has been her dream, all three of their dreams, since they were little kids. Izuku would not let all of these years go to waste of something as petty as this.

Izuku: Yang... Just let it go.

Yang: What?! But Izuku-

Yang's right hand, that has been raised in the air ready to punch Bakugou in his oh so punchable face. Izuku placed his own hand onto that one, and gently put it down.

Izuku: You know what the principal said. Let's just go...

Yang: ... I... You...

Yang was certainly not happy. She wanted nothing more than make this little jerk pay... But he was right. She wasn't really thinking about the aftermath of her actions. So... Regrugingly... She let go of Bakugou's collar, and started to walk off with Izuku and her sister... But not before saying one last thing to Bakugou and his gang.

Yang: If you ever cross that line again... Hell is gonna look like Christmas compared to what I'm gonna do to you.

Bakugou, yes was intimidated, was showing more anger then fear. While is lackies we ready to piss themselves.

So the trio head off from the building... And Yang was confused.

Yang: Why are we gonna around the building this time?

Ruby: Well... You see...

Ruby didn't get to finish her centene cause they already found what they we looking for. Izuku's Notebook. Not one the ground, but in a small pond outside the school. That thud everyone heard was actually a splash. And as the sad looking Notebook floats above the water... 3 Fish are currently trying to devour it.

Izuku: ... My dream have turned into fish food... That enough give it back...

Izuku voice was shaking. Izuku was doing everything he could to hold back his tears. He took the Notebook back from the pond as the girls look at him with sadness.

Ruby, was angry at Bakugou for treating him like this. All because Izuku just was to try, try to see if he could do it... But she also blames herself particularly. She just stood there and did nothing. Her friend was getting bullied, her sister was about to get into a fight and she just... WATCHED!! Part of her even encouraged the second thing. But right now she knew that she could blame herself later... Izuku need someone right now.

Yang was in a similar situation. The reason she wasn't there with Ruby, was because her classes were on the lower floors. So she took longer to meet up with Izuku and her sister. She felt like if she was there, then Bakugou wouldn't have dared to try and do anything to Izuku. The only reason he did when Ruby was there, is cause he saw her as a non-threat. Yang to him was superior, and someone he has to surpass. So having Yang there, means no of this would have happened... But she needs to forget what could have been, and focus on what's happening now.

It takes everything he has to try and stay together. Not to just fall to just fall to his knees and sob so loud that the whole school can hear...

His feet are shaking, his breathing has been sped up slightly, and his teeth grinded together.

"Don't cry, Don't cry, Don't cry, Don't cry, Don't cry, Don't cry, Don't cry, Don't cry."

He repeats this in his mind over and over again. Praying and hoping that it'll work. That he won't cry in front of his friends...

Then he feels a gentle touch on both of his shoulders. He doesn't even need to look know how it is this time. As he suspects, it's Ruby and Yang. They know how Izuku gets. They know how emotional he can get in these types of situations. So in a soft voice, the most comforting they could possibly make it.

Ruby: ... Just let it out Izuku.

Yang: ... It'll help if you do.

This was the point... Where the water works in Izuku's eyes started to flood. Izuku, not wanting to seem like he's weak, or a baby... But... He couldn't bottle it up anymore... Some he let the tears flow down his face... He let the sadness out, trying to control it so he doesn't just fall to his knees. But it was a lot... A lot of pain... A lot of disappointment... So the only thing he could do now... is just let his friends take off some of the weight on his shoulders... That's all he could do... All Quirkless little Deku could do.
