They finally reached their home, and Katherine woke up the twins gently.

"Sarah, Sam, wake up now. We're here.", she cooed, and the children stretched their arms and legs. Sam's arm hit Sarah's face, making her groan and shove him.

"It was an accident.", Sam spoke, and Sarah made a face. Katherine chuckled at the two and helped them with their bags.

"Now, we're going to eat dinner early.", Johnny said, catching up to the three as they walked towards the house.

"Why, Mr. Johnny?", Sarah asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Because we're going on a camping trip with your Uncle Maxwell and Auntie Prudence.", Katherine explained and their eyes widened.

"Camping?! Yes!!!", they remarked, making Katherine and Johnny laugh. Johnny opened the door and the kids ascended their rooms to change their clothes.

Johnny went straight to the kitchen to Katherine's amusement. He started getting out condiments from the cupboard and frozen meat from the freezer.

"What are you doing?", she asked, a smirk on her face.

"Cooking, are you blind?", Johnny retorted, and snickered once he saw Katherine's expression change.

"D**k.", she muttered.

When she saw Johnny start thawing the meat and mixing some spices, Katherine took the initiative of setting the table. She made juice for them in a pitcher, as well.

After 30 minutes, Johnny finished cooking. Katherine called for the kids and they came running down the stairs.

"We've already packed for tomorrow!", they said, enthusiasm evident in their voices. Katherine smiled, and so did Johnny.

"Let's eat so that we could rest early.", Katherine spoke, and they followed.

"Riley was normal today, well except his scene this morning.", Katherine narrated, and they all had confused looks on their faces.

"Who's Riley?", Johnny asked.

"Oh, I'm sorry. He's the kid I mentioned yesterday.", she answered.

"The same thing happened to us earlier. Gabby, Travis and Scott all went crazy this morning. They were screaming and stomping their feet as they walked along tye corridors. But in the afternoon, they were socializing normally.", Sarah stated.

"I wonder what happened. We should still observe those three,though.", Sam added.

Something clicked in Katherine's mind.

"Wait- where did the first bombing happen? Was it a school or orphanage?", she asked Johnny, who scrunched his eyebrows.

"I don't know. I'll ask Chief Smith.", he said, and turned his earpiece on. Katherine did the same.

"Evening, Chief."

"Well, this is unexpected. By the way, we are grateful to both of you for your recordings in your glasses and earpieces. We are progressing in this mission.", he spoke on the other end.

"Chief, where did the first bombing happen? Was it a school or orphanage?", Johnny asked.

"Wait, let me check.", Chief Smith said. Johnny heard shuffling and muffled voices in the background.

"According to the data we have here, the first bombings happened two weeks ago at two consecutive places. The first was at the M. H. Dreyton Montessori, and at the same time,  Tender and Loving Care: Shelter for Children.", the chief stated.

"At the same time? That could mean whoever did that remote-denoted the bombs.", Katherine concluded.

"Or... that person had an accomplice.", Johnny mused.

It was silent for a few minutes. Everyone was trying to analyze how the two bombs exploded at the same time.

"Thanks, Chief. I'll be in touch.", Johnny spoke, and the chief nodded, but then the latter remembered that the former could not see him.

"Anytime, Agent Depp. Keep safe.", Chief Smith said, before hanging up.

"I forgot to tell you. Earlier when Maxwell and I were leaving, we saw Pernham exit a room and acted suspiciously. Maxwell told me that it was prohibited for employees to enter.", Johnny stated.

"We have to know what's in there. He's hiding something. I can feel it.", Katherine added, and they both nodded.

"I'll find a way to sneak in."

"I want to come with you.", Katherine whined, and Johnny raised an eyebrow.

"You want to come with me?", Johnny said teasingly, and the twins stiffled a laugh. They nudged each others arms and bit their lips.

Johnny winked at her and Katherine caught on, her face turning a shade of red.

"What the- I meant for the mission.", Katherine answered, ans Johnny just wiggled his eyebrows.

"Of course that's what you meant.", Johnny retorted, smiling at the twins, who gave him a huge grin in return.

"I don't like those looks on you faces.", she stated, eyeing the three, and they all laughed at her.

"Hiya! I'm so excited for today!", Maxwell greeted Johnny as the latter opened the door for the former.

"Me, too! It's been a while since we got out of town.", Prudence added.

Johnny simply gave them a smile until he noticed that the couple didn't have a car parked in the driveway.

"Where's your car?", Johnny asked after letting his neighbors in.

"Well, I thought it would be better if we carpooled with you. That way, we can get to bond together!", Maxwell replied, and Prudence nodded.

'What the actual f**k?', Johnny cursed internally.

"Where are you, guys? We have to go now!", Maxwell yelled as he and Prudence sat in the living room with Johnny.

"Yeah, just a sec!", Katherine hollered.

"So, Maxwell, where EXACTLY are we going?", Johnny asked. He had one bag on his lap, and another placed on the the floor.

He was currently wearing a blue shirt with a black cardigan. Of course, he couldn't forget his signature and essential round glasses to go with his outfit.

"To Oakfellow Woods. Prudence and I always camp there, don't we honey?", Maxwell said, putting an arm around his wife and kissing her. Johnny mentally gagged at the sight before him.

"Yes, we do. Johnny, you are going to love it there. The sight is breathtaking. And the fresh air, oh my gosh. I can't even.", Prudence added.

"We're ready!", the twins shouted, running down the stairs.

"Where's your aunt Vanessa?", Johnny asked, and turned to the clock and saw that it was already 7:00, 30 minutes past their agreed take-off time.

"Maybe still making herself look presentable. You know us women.", Prudence responded, and Maxwell smirked.

"Yeah, tell me about it. They spend almost an hour in the bathroom, and hour figuring out what to wear, and another hour doing their makeup. It's unbelievable.", Maxwell added, garnering a playful punch from his wife.

"I'm here, geez.", Katherine called out, descending the stairs with her bags in her hand.

"Hey Victor, aren't you going to help your sister?", Maxwell spoke. He and his wife had their eyes fixed on Johnny.

Johnny groaned softly and stood up to help her.

"Give me.", Johnny spoke, but Katherine being her usual stubborn self, denied his offer.

"I can carry these, don't worry.", she said, but it was evident in her face that she couldn't.

"No, you can't. Let me."

"Victor- AHHH!", she was cut off by both of them falling down the stairs. Katherine had lost her footing and the weight of her bags didn't help, either.

"F**k.", Johnny muttered as he hit the floor with a loud thud. Everyone cringed at the sound.

Katherine was on top of Johnny, and her face was inches away from his own.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!", Katherine apologized, and started standing up.

"We both know you aren't.", Johnny said, loud enough only for them to hear, and purposely making his voice huskier.

"I- uh... Wha-", Katherine stuttered and her face was absolutely flustered. She shook it off immediately, and stood up.

"Are you two alright?", Prudence approached them, concern evident in her voice.

"Yeah. We're fine.", Johnny said, standing up, as well.

"Is everyone set?", Maxwell asked, obviously excited. They all nodded.

"Great then! Let's go!", Prudence mused, and they left the house. Katherine stayed behind a bit to make sure she has locked the house up well.

She followed them shortly afterwards to the car, and was surprised when she saw Maxwell in front with Johnny.

Johnny mouthed 'help' to her, but Katherine just stiffled a laugh.

Sarah and Sam were seated peacefully at the back, so she took the middle seats and sat beside Prudence.

"Let's go!", Maxwell cheered. He turned the stereo on and inserted a disk. Electro-pop music started playing, and Maxwell blasted up the volume.

The kids put their hands in their ears at the sudden loudness and Johnny winced. Katherine made a face but changed it when Pridence turned to her.

"Maxwell likes to always fit in with the younger generation.", Prudence whispered to Katherine, who just smiled in return.

"Let's go!", Maxwell yelled, dancing around like he was crazy.

Johnny let out a heavy sigh and drove off.

'This is gonna be a long ride.', the two agents thought.
