We had just gotten to Sonic's house, it was amazing. Bigger than I expected, and it was nicely decorated. 

"Wow." I gasped.

"You like it?" Sonic asked.

"I love it, it's amazing!" I guess my eyes where bulging out because Sonic started laughing.

"Yeah, but when you see inside, it's even better." Tails explained, "We all have certain houses, we choose to either share or live by ourselves."

"And I have a feeling Shadow is alone?" I turned to him, my hands on my hips.

"Actually, I share this house with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles." Shadow gave me a smirk, and my eyes widened even more.

"Oh my god, really?"

"Yeah, and Amy shares a house with Rouge, Blaze and Marine." Shadow crossed his arms.

I turned to Silver, "What about you?"

"Oh, I err, I live by myself." He looked at the ground.

"Really? Why?"

"Well, we sort of have no room and we figured he wouldn't want to share a house with a bunch of girls." Knuckles stated.

I crossed my arms, same as Amy, "What is that suppose to mean?"

"Oh, uh, not what you think." Knuckles turned red, or as red as he could, seen as his fur was already red.

"You better hope so Knux, because both us girls have a mean weapon." I winked at the echidna.

"Anyway, would you like to see the house on the inside?" Sonic cut in, almost laughing at the mistake Knuckles made.

"Please don't call me that." Knuckles looked away.

"Why Knux?" I asked.

"Because, I just don't like it, it's what that bat Rouge calls me! She drives me nuts!" Knuckles' fists bunched up, and I stopped talking.

"Sorry, I should have remembered." I looked at the ground, "Anyway, I would love to see inside your house!"

It was like a normal everyday house like the ones on Earth, it had a living room, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Yep just like the ones back on Earth.

I sighed.

"What's wrong?" Amy asked.

"Nothing, I just sort of, miss my home." I rubbed my arm.

"But you just got here!" Amy exclaimed.

"Yeah, I know, but....." I didn't know what to say, I missed my home, my mum, my friends, I missed them all.

"But, what?" Shadow asked, his brow raised.

"I, I don't know, I've never been to another planet, and it's just so, wow. I mean, don't get me wrong I already do love it here but, I guess I'm a little homesick." I looked at the wooden floor, nicely polished.

"It's okay, Silver can keep you company." Amy placed her hand on my shoulder.

"What?" Me head shot up, looking at Silver, I knew I was blushing, I could feel it.

"Well it's already filled up here and at my place, so, Silver is really the only option." Amy explained.

I'm sure my face was red, it felt really, really hot, "Okay then."

"So, that's our house done, do you want to rest here or go to your new home?" Shadow asked, eyes closed.

"Um....." I was lost for words, I didn't want seem rude and not go now, but I was really tired and sore, I decided to go with Silver to my new found home, "I guess I could go home? My new home, and rest there?"

"Okay, are you sure you will be fine? You do look really tired." Tails pointed out.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, and besides, I will have someone with me." I nodded to Silver, and he nodded back.

"Okay then, let's go before you fall over." Silver gestured to the door.

"Well, bye Haven! See ya soon!" Sonic called out.

"Yeah, rest up okay?" Tails yelled.

"Have fun with your new house!" Amy shouted.

"Be careful, you never know who is watching!" Knuckles warned.

Shadow stayed quiet, but, I knew he would.

"So, you sure your alright? You won't fall over or anything?" Silver asked, a small smile on his face.

"Oh, I don't know, I might faint." I pretend to fall over, and I laughed, only because I failed and actually fell over.

"Okay, now I'm sure your gonna faint." Silver held his hand out, and helped me up.

"Yeah, it's strange, I have never fainted before, let alone jumped in front of something as powerful as that, well, whatever you call it." I said, sighing.

"Really? Wow, so was is strange? For you? I've never fainted either."

"It was like, having all your power drained out and just falling asleep, totally exhausted. And it's like, a deep sleep." I explained.

"Wow, and you already miss home?" He seemed off in his own world.

"Yeah, I'm not really use to being in, another planet."

"I can't blame you, it was weird when we where in Earth." Silver laughed.

"Yeah, hey, did you feel homesick?"

"Honestly? Yes, but I never voiced it, no one did, but I knew everyone wanted to go home, even Shadow." Silver told me.

"Oh, so what's it like?"

"What?"

"Living by yourself? Like is it lonely, quiet? What do you think?" I realized I was smashing him with questions, "You don't have to answer all of those, just the first one at least."

He laughed, "Well, yes, it does get lonely and it is always quiet, but sometimes, I like it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love my friends and all but sometimes, it's good to be by yourself, it gives you time to think. And you don't have to look after anyone else."

"Oh, sorry." I looked at the ground, it seemed to be my friend today, always looking interesting.

"What?" Silver turned to me.

"Well, it does sound nice, you don't have to look after anyone else. Then I just come in and now I'm staying with you."

"No no no, it's not a problem, I like helping people. Really. Although I do have to ask, do you like late nights and scary movies?"

My head shot up to look at him, "Um, late nights definatly, scary movies, I like them, yeah."

"Good, because your gonna have a lot of late nights, just not tonight." We stopped walking.

"Wait, why did we stop?" I asked.

"Because, we're here." He gestured to a little house, right in front of us. Man, I was REALLY tired to have not noticed it.

"Oh, right, sorry, I'm REALLY tired." I rubbed the back of my head.

"That's okay, I can't blame you, the first time I used Chaos Control, was a little tiring." Silver laughed.

"Really?"

"Yeah, it's strange at first, but you get use to it, don't worry."

We walked up to the front door, and Silver opened it, standing aside for me, "Ladies first."

I smiled, "Thanks, you are a gentleman." I walked inside, it to was like a normal house on Earth, again I felt homesick. It had one room, a kitchen, bathroom and a lounge room. All the important stuff, good.

"You can have my room if you want, I can sleep on the couch." Silver walked in, leaving the door open, to air the place out.

"What? No I can't, it's your room! I can't take it." I exclaimed, "I'm not going to stay as a guest and take your room, I'm not that special. I'll be fine on the couch."

"Actually, you sort of are special.... I mean." His face turned red, "I mean, like, for you to have survived that hit, it's not normal, and for you to be able to use Chaos Control?" He shook his head, smiling, "Yes, that makes you special, only certain people can use that power."

My eyes widened, but I kept up the argument, I'm really good at that, "It doesn't mean I need to use your room."

"It doesn't really matter, I usually sleep on the couch anyway, I'm sort of use to it. Besides, you gave up your room for us, even though I still slept on the couch, I'm just making it fair." He shrugged.

"Okay okay, fine. But I feel, weird."

"Don't worry, I haven't really slept in it for, how long? A while I guess." Silver explained, trying to make me feel better, although it didn't, "Anyway, do you wanna sit down?"

"Yes please, I'm so tired it's not funny." My eyes started drooping, and I had to shake my head, so I didn't fall asleep.

"Well, make yourself at home, as best as you can." He walked into the kitchen, "And while you rest, I will make something for dinner."

"Okay, that actually sounds nice." I walked over to the couch, and laid down, "But for my first sleep I would like to sleep right here!" I gestured to the couch, already falling asleep.

"Okay, want me to wake you up when I'm done?"

"Sure, why not?" My eyes slowly closed, and I saw Silver place a blanket over me, why is he so nice? Oh well, it looks like I'm going to be staying for a while, which I don't mind, but for now, all I wanted was some sleep. I was finally pulled into sleep.
