Today is Damari's birthday. The day before she was first sent down to Hell from Earth. Damari never thought much about it or completely forgot and thought no one celebrates birthdays in Hell and no one knew which would be better.. But little did she know was that Charlie knew it, and her being her, she asked Rosie for help to organize a surprise birthday party. Alastor had the task to take Damari out somewhere while the others got everything ready in the Hotel, Niffty making the cake with Fat Nuggets secretly getting a taste from her ingredients, Angel calling other sinners over from his phone like his best friend Cherri Bomb, the Monster High gang, etc., Vaggie organizing the decorations, Husk getting the drinks and glass cups ready, Jeff wrapping up a present for Damari while drawing a picture with the help of Charlotte, who's also drawing, KeeKee hunting demon birds...

Meanwhile, there were certain people who had heard about Damari's birthday, like...

In the Vees Tower, Vox and Valentino are napping on the couch when the doors were slammed open to reveal an ecstatic Velvette.

"BITCHES!! IT'S DAMARI'S BIRTHDAY AND THAT MEANS WE ARE GOING SHOPPING! RIGHT BLOODY FUCKING NOW!!!!"

But the boys were still napping, not acknowledging her shout. This angered Velvette and immediately dragged the boys out of the couch towards the doors.

"OW! What the hell Velvette! Why are you waking me up? I need my beauty sleep," screamed Val.

Velvette rolled her eyes, as she continued to drag them down the hallway. "Bitch, you need a full year for a small ounce of beauty."

Before Val can throw another temper tantrum, Vox groaned and asked, "What's so important Velvette?"

"You boys better get up! It's our girl's birthday! We gotta give her the best presents there is that's better than others."

Hearing that made Vox instantly wake up with wide eyes after hearing about Damari's birthday while being dragged out of the tower.

Val smirked evilly as he already knew what he was going to give Damari... and it was not going to be wrapped. He just needs to figure out how to get her alone to give Damari one hell of a night to remember. His dirty thoughts were interrupted when Velvette smacked him back of the head.

"Don't even think about it, Val. If you recall, according to our agreement with Damari, you AND Vox can't sexually harass her. That includes what you were planning to do to her as a birthday gift," said Velvette.

Val groaned and pondered what to give the girl he wanted to have. A thought came to him and he looked at his colleagues. "Hold on, we don't have an invite. How can we even get to our girl when she's at that ratty hotel?"

Vox smirked and answered, "Looks like we are crashing the party with style."

In Carmine territory, Carmilla hummed thoughtfully as she checked Velvette's social media.

"Today is Damari's birthday, huh? Well, that is unexpected."

Odette and Clara came over with invitations in hands.

"Mom, we're invited to Damari's birthday party from Charlie." Clara said.

"Should we go?" Odette asked for confirmation.

Carmilla was surprised by the invitation and smiled a bit.

"I don't see why not. It'd be rude not to come and celebrate my student's special day." she said, standing up from her desk.

This made the girls smile. Zestial appear next to Carmilla with a grin, holding out the invitation as well.

"I too shall attend thy birthday girl's party."

Meanwhile, the Monster High gang are sitting by the fountain.

"So, what do you think?" Clawdeen asked as Cleo and Draculaura are examining the paper she made.

On the paper were idea presents for Damari's birthday and party after getting a call from Angel Dust.

"I think it stinks." Cleo commented, ripping the paper.

"I thought it was pretty nice. But I think we should do better than that." Draculaura said.

Clawdeen groaned. "We gotta step our game up."

"She's right." Frankie spoke up. "This is Damari, the first human in Hell, we're talking about. We can do it."

"Well, we better do it soon because the Vees are already getting ahead." Operetta said, pointing something behind her.

They turned to see Vox, Valentino, and Velvette with their nice and expensive presents in their hands before heading inside the limo and leaving.

Cleo's eyes widen as she watched the limo leave. "Wait, what do you mean? Angel told me the Vees were not even on the guest list."

Frankie nodded her head in agreement and said, "If what Vaggie told me is true, Alastor and Vox has a rivalry going on, so those three are most definitely not invited to Damari's surprise birthday party."

"How did they even know about the party?" Clawdeen asked the gang.

Suddenly, they heard a meow and turned to see Toralei and her twin cat sisters. Though they scowled to see Casanova, Lola, and Scourge with the cat girls. They heard about them from Damari and they already don't like them.

"A little birdie told me you guys were throwing a purrfectly epic party." Toralei said before hacking up some bird feather. "We're here for our invites."

"No way!!" Clawd shook his head.

"Nah, sorry, dude." Deuce stated.

"Please, Toralei. You're.Not.Coming." Cleo said, pointing at Toralei before pointing at Casanova. "Especially you."

This made Toralei gasp while Casanova was offended.

"Give me one good reason why not?" she asked.

"Yeah, I've known Damari for years, longer than you. So why are we not invited?" Casanova agreed.

"Uh... how about three?"

Clawdeen pulled out her phone and showed them pictures of Toralei and Casanova bullying Damari. One picture showed Damari and Vox on the date with Toralei behind them with a bucket full of slime. The screen was swiped to reveal Toralei pouring a slime onto them, causing them to look all gooey and they appear to be stuck to each other. A second picture showed Lola purposely pushing Damari off the stairs with Casanova recording it. The screen swiped again to show Damari falling onto Angel Dust, who appears shocked. A third picture then showed Toralei and Casanova pushing Damari and Charlie into a pool full of electric eels. The screen swiped again to show the poor two girls electrified with Toralei and Casanova laughing in the background.

Casanova clicked his tongue in annoyance that he was caught red-handed while Toralei huffed.

"Fine. Just remember, every kitty has their day." she warned, pointing at them. "So, you better watch your backs."

She then left along with the gang.

"Oh, we're so scared." Cleo said mockingly.

Clawdeen swiped her claws at them and growled.

"Rarr!"

"I'm quaking in my boots." Abbey said sarcastically.

Ghoulia put a thoughtful look for a moment before clicking her fingers and groaned something at them.

"Wait, you got an idea?" Frankie asked.

Ghoulia nodded her head and the ghouls listen to her plans. Little did they know, this won't be the last time they will see Toralei and the gang.

"Won't invite us to the party, huh?" Toralei sighed.

"Then we'll just have to ruin it. I think it's time those losers realized that Damari is playing with their hearts and she will loose everyone" Casanova suggested, making them grin evilly.

"I like your idea." Lola smirked.

"This is gonna be fun~" Toralei thought with a sly smile.

Now it was a matter of time till Damari and Alastor returned from Cannibal Town.

"Thanks for... the tour of the Cannibal Town." Damari said, smiling nervously at the smiling cannibal sinners who are waving at her. She got even more scared when she saw a cannibal sinner devouring a sinner's arm.

She's a little nervous the day Alastor took her there that the cannibal sinners would try to eat her after seeing a human girl in Hell. But they're surprisingly welcoming and nice, though they're still a little scary when they gave her a sharp teeth smile. Alastor had even gifted her a skull hair flower and placed it on her hair.

He smiled, looking at the Skullflower.

"No problem, my dear. I'm quite impressed that you didn't seem to be bothered that much by the Cannibals. I thought you would be shaking for the most part but you only were a little nervous! Quite the development." he chuckled, holding his cane as they walked back to the Hotel.

"Well, when you're used to Hell, you could figure that this would happen." she said.

"Hmhm~ I'm starting to notice that you're growing fond of this place, my dear~" he teased, giving a slight smirk. They were getting close to the hotel now.

"Don't push it. I'm still finding a way to get back home." Damari chuckled.

"Ah ah ah~"

He stopped in front of the door but didn't let her in yet.

"Now now~ I just said that I noticed that you're growing fond of it, didn't say you're trying to stay here~" he chuckled, placing a finger under her chin and lift it slightly, looking into her eyes to see her reaction.

"You tone just gave it away a bit. But the way you said it, I might think about it." she said, looking away a bit, blushing at the gesture.

He chuckled. His smile widened but not in a scary way.

"Really~? You're actually thinking about staying here~?"

He leaned in just a bit closer, his smirk turning into a amused smile, his tone sounding interested about that information. The tips of his fingers gently holding her chin, forcing her to look at him with their height difference.

"Maybe."

"How interesting~ I can see that you're blushing there, my dear~" he chuckled, noticing that her cheeks red.

Alastor leaned in a bit closer, their faces only a few inches apart, his grip on her chin still there, making her keep looking at him. Damari gulps a bit at how close they are.

"Hmhm~" he smirked again as he leaned in even more, their faces only a Inch apart now, looking into her eye's, observing them.

"You're getting even more embarrassed, my dear~"

"N-No, I'm not."

Alastor chuckled, pulling her even closer to him, their bodies almost touching, leaning in until their faces were basically only a few cm from each other now, his hand under her chin making her look directly at him.

"I say otherwise, dear~ You are very much embarrassed~ Just look at your face, your so red~" his smirk widened as he gently pinched her cheek, finding her reaction adorable. "Not to mention that you cant seem to look at me directly. You keep looking away~"

He let out another chuckle, having a quite amusing time just teasing her like this. His grip holding her still in place, not giving her a chance to turn away even if she wanted to.

"I was just... looking at the red sky or a weather or something." Damari stuttered.

"Hmhm~ Really now~? I doubt that~" he said, seeing her stuttering, knowing that it was a lie but found it amusing. His smile was still the same as he looked into her eyes.

"You cant even look at me without blushing like that, dear~"

"I-I..."

He pulled her even closer, making their bodies touch. He was enjoying this a lot. He smirked, seeing her blush get even worse from being close like this. His free hand on her waist, holding her steady while leaning in even closer to her.

"Go on, finish that sentence~"

"I... uh... y-you have... wonderful eyes?" she chuckled nervously.

"My my~"

His smirk widened, he didn't expect that kind of compliment. He chuckled at the nervous tone she had while saying it, which found was both amusing and adorable at the same time, making him pull her even closer if that was possible.

"Now that's a compliment, my dear~ and it is quite adorable how you said that~"

"You know~" he started, his tone now a bit more.. flirtatious? "You seem a tiny... bit flustered. Why could that be?~"

He smirked once more, looking at her as she's squished against his chest because he pulled her so close.

"I uh... sh-shouldn't we go inside the hotel?" she tried to change the subject while noticing the lights are off from the windows.

"Hmhm~ Perhaps you are right~" he said, his smirk turning into an amused smile once more.

A part of him didn't want to stop but at the same time, the light being off was suspicious. He let go of her chin but he didn't let her out of his hold as he used his other hand and open the door, letting them both enter the dark hotel.

As they both entered the hotel, it was completely dark in there. Alastor found it suspicious, as he thought that someone had to at least leave the some lights on. He held Damari still, while his ear's twitched a bit as he tried to listen, seeing if he could hear someone. He could only barely hear a few.. giggles coming from the main room.

Alastor's eyes narrowed at the situation. He didn't like that he couldn't see a thing, especially because there was supposed to be light on. He could hear the silent giggling coming from the main room as well, and that raised his suspicion. He slowly pulled Damari along with him, trying to not make a sound himself as they got closer to the main room.

As they walked towards the room, the giggling sound got a bit louder to the point they both could hear who's giggling. Alastor was getting more and more suspicious as they walked. His grip on Damari was still there, holding her close to him as he opened the door to the main room and peeked inside to see what the hell was going on.

Alastor peeked into the room, his eyes adjusting to the darkness and he saw something he didn't expect. He looked back to Damari, a smirk starting to form on his face.

"Stay here, my dear~" he said before pushing her back behind the wall before he stepped into the room.

He entered the room, looking at the other Sinners inside. Everyone was in the room, all looking at him with wide smiles on their faces. Alastor raised an eyebrow, wondering why they looked so suspicious and happy. Suddenly he saw a lighter get lit up by Vaggie, who turned it on the huge birthday cake. Alastor widened his eyes as everything started to make sense. He glanced back to Damari, his smile widening a bit more as he smirked.

He turned back to the other Sinners and spoke up as everyone was now looking at him.

"You all set all of this up.. for her...?" he asked, looking at everyone, seeing the cake, the decorations, all of it. The others started nodding, and Charlie had a big, happy smile on her face.

Alastor chuckled at the sight, realizing why the light was out. So they could surprise her with this. He then turned his sight back to Damari, who was still standing outside the room in the hallway. He called out to her, in a light, calm tone to not scare her.

"You can come in now, my dear~"

Damari heard Alastor and walked into the room, freezing at the sudden light of Vaggie's lighter on the cake. Her face slowly turned from confusion to shock, as she finally realized what she had just entered. She looked around silently, and soon enough the others started to cheer and speak up at the same time.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

The lights went back on along with party poppers going off. After the party poppers went off confetti was falling from the ceiling. The others were all smiling, even Alastor who was standing at the back. He watched Damari's reaction to all of this, his smile widening slightly.

"Surprise!" Charlie spoke up with a happy expression as the group looked over at Damari, who seemed to be completely speechless at the moment.

"Happy 26 birthday, Damari." Vaggie said, smiling.

The others were also wishing her a happy birthday. Alastor chuckled and spoke up as well. He was amused to see her so surprised, and was also glad that she seemed to enjoy the whole thing.

"A very happy birthday to you, my dear~"

"You all... remember my birthday?" Damari asked, still speechless. "I didn't even tell you guys about it. How'd you know?"

Charlie smiled and spoke up with her usual cheerful tone.

"Well, that was actually my fault. I asked Alastor to take you out so the rest of us could set everything up for the party."

The others nodded, Angel even spoke up as well. Though it sounded a bit lazy when he did.

"Yeah, princess over here asked deer boy to keep ya entertained and out of the way while we were setting everything up~"

"And you told Angel about your birthday one time, and I had it fully memorized." Charlie added.

Alastor chuckled in the back, watching the situation and how Damari was still in shock. He also heard that she mentioned her birthday once so that Charlie remembered, which he was silently impressed by since that was a while ago.

"Wow... That's... Thank you, guys. That's really thoughtful of you." Damari smiled.

Everyone smiled at her reply. It seemed like it was a success. Then Vaggie spoke up, pointing to the cake behind them.

"That's not the only surprise, check the cake out."

"Red Velvette Cheesecake. Your favorite." Angel grinned.

"Make a wish!" Niffty jumped up and down in excitement.

The rest of the group cheered, and Alastor glanced at Damari once more as they told her to make a wish with the cake. He was curious to see what kind of wish she'd make. Damari did a silent wish to herself before blowing out the candles. The others cheered, happy that she had blown out the candles. Alastor was still leaning against the wall, watching the small party take place in front of him. He was silently observing how Damari reacted to all the attention, and in some way he was also enjoying seeing her happy and having a good time.

"Hope you don't mind. We've brought in a few more guests, and they should be here right now." Charlie said.

"We're gonna have the biggest party ever." Angel grinned with excitement.

"Not too big." Husk reminded.

The rest of the group cheered, and Alastor glanced at Damari once more as they told her to make a wish with the cake. He was curious to see what kind of wish she'd make.

As if on cue, the doors were slammed open to reveal Lucifer holding out presents with a few overlords like Zestial, Carmilla, and her two daughters, Odette and Clara, Rosie, and Zeezi. Then there's the sinners Damari recognized are the Monster High gang and Cherri Bomb.

Everyone looked towards the door as they slammed opened, Lucifer barging in with the other Overlords following along. Alastor's eyes widened a bit at the sight as he still had his smile plastered on his face. His eye twitched in annoyance to see Lucifer again. He smirked and chuckled a bit when he saw the Monster High group and Cherri.

"Dad! You actually came!" Charlie said with happiness.

"You invited me, and I wouldn't want to miss your friend's birthday." Lucifer smiled.

The others smiled, happy that Lucifer had come. Alastor looked a bit more annoyed, but at least Lucifer had the common sense to show up to Damari's party. He looked over at Damari once more, curious to see what her reaction would be about the surprise guests.

"Wow! Uh... hey!!" Damari waved. "I'm surprised to see you here, Carmilla, Zestial."

"We thought it'd be nice to celebrate your birthday. You're my student, after all." Carmilla smiled.

Alastor was silent, leaning against the wall and watching all the interactions taking place. The other Sinners were talking to each other, or talking to each other and to Damari. Alastor glanced at Lucifer for a moment before he spoke up to himself, loud enough so that Lucifer could hear him.

"Well well well, wasn't expecting to see you here, Lucifer~"

Lucfier immediately deadpanned to see him.

"I was hoping you wouldn't be here, but I forgot you're part of the hotel resident." he said. "I'm just here to celebrate Damari's birthday. Is that so wrong?"

Alastor chuckled at Lucifer's response and replied, maintaining his smile.

"Oh~ nothing wrong with that at all~"

He pushed himself off of the wall to stand straight.

"I'm just expressing my "pleasurable" surprise at your unannounced presence here~"

"Gee, I'm flattered," Lucifer said in a flat tone.

The party then got started as everyone was chatting and having fun while dancing. The Monster High gang stopped and looked at Damari then to each other before nodding.

"Hey, birthday girl!" Clawdeen shouted.

Damari stopped and turned to see them already in their position.

"A little present from us." Spectra said with an excited smile.

Just then, the DJ named Holt pop up and started the music and the Monster High gang started dancing.

The whole party guests and hotel residents burst out into applause as the music began to play, the beat thumping like an excited heart as the Monster High gang showed off their moves. Some even sang along to the lyrics of the song, mesmerized by the performance unfolding before them.

"Glad you liked it, birthday girl!" Clawdeen yelled, grinning widely.

As soon as the Monster High gang got out for their pose, Holt turned on the new music to continue as the party started on. As the next song started to play, the dance floor began to fill up again. Some of the Monster High gang stayed to dance, but others began to drift away into the crowd, chatting and mingling with the other guests at the party.

Damari was dancing to the beat of the song. As she did, she didn't expect the pair of hands to grab her by the waist, spun her around, and dipped her down. Damari looked up and was surprised to see...

"Vox!"

"Hey, birthday girl." he greeted charmly.

Alastor watched as Vox appeared and pulled Damari into dancing. A feeling of jealousy and annoyance suddenly grew in him as he saw them dancing. He tried to ignore it, but seeing Vox getting all charming and pulling her like that was pissing him off.

"I'm surprised you're here." Damari said as he dipped her back up.

"We weren't invited, and we just snuck as soon as we heard about your birthday. Well, Velvette did and told us." Vox explained, spinning her around.

Damari looked over to see Valentino and Velvette here as well as they're drinking with Carmilla and Zestial, eyeing them suspiciously.

Alastor continued to watch them. His eye was twitching in annoyance at this point, and he clenched his teeth. He noticed the other Overlords there as well, and that annoyed him even more. He really wanted to go over there and just tear Vox away from Damari, but he had to endure and remain where he was.

Angel and Husk were a bit annoyed at the sight of Vox with Damari. They both felt the same kind of jealousy that Alastor was feeling. They exchanged a glance and Angel spoke up.

"Damnit, why is that TV head dancing with her?! Shouldn't it be us instead-!"

Husk, hearing Angel's annoyed words, responded.

"Yeah, damn right it should. But we can't do anything 'cause the birthday girl is enjoying the dancing."

Angel huffed and crossed his arms.

"Ugh! This is driving me insane!" he complained, as he glanced at Alastor across the room, who was also watching and probably also feeling annoyed by this.

Alastor was indeed annoyed. He clenched his teeth as he watched Vox keep dancing with Damari. It took a lot of him to stop himself from going over there and ripping Vox away from her. He noticed Angel and Husk having the same kind of reaction as he did, which made him slightly amused despite the annoyance he was feeling.

Damari giggled as Vox playfully dipped her down again as they tango. Vox chuckled as he dipped her down again, keeping her as close as possible to keep the flow of the dance going. Alastor watched in silent annoyance, getting even more pissed as he saw them so close. Husk and Angel were also getting annoyed.

As soon as they finished dancing, Vox pulled out a blue shark flower boutique.

"Happy birthday, Damari."

"Oh, that is so nice of you." Damari smiled, taking it.

Vox then gives her a kiss on the cheek, making her blush in surprise.

Alastor's eye widened to see the flower boutique, and he grew even more pissed once he saw Vox kiss Damari on the cheek, making her blush.

He felt a feeling of extreme anger and jealousy at that moment, and he could see Angel and Husk also getting more annoyed as well. Angel watched and crossed his arms.

"Oh, come on! Since when does the damn TV head go giving people gifts and kissing them on the cheek?!"

Husk agreed, and silently clenched his teeth.

"Damned TV bastard. He knows what he's doing, and it's just to brag. I bet he did that to piss us off."

Damari realized how close Vox is and got flustered and gently pulled herself away from him.

"Uh... I gotta go and grab some cake. Enjoy the party." she said, walking away.

Vox watched her go with a lovesick smile, noticing Alastor giving him an angry glare, which he gave him a smug smile before walking back to the other two Vees.

Angel and Husk had observed the whole situation with Vox and Damari, and were getting even more annoyed and pissed. Alastor looked even more mad as he saw the lovesick smile Vox had on and the smug smile he gave him. Alastor just glares at him in response, his smile starting to twitch.

As Damari grabbed herself a slice of cake, Charlie and Vaggie came over.

"You having fun?" Charlie asked.

She turned to the girla and smiled happily.

"Yeah. This is the best." Damari said, taking a bite of her cake.

"I'm glad you did. We've been through so much, it's the least we could to show our appreciation to you for helping us and being there for us." Vaggie smiled.

"Thanks, Vaggie." Damari said.

"And there's a lot more fun that you're gonna have. By opening your own birthday presents!" Charlie happily announced, making Vaggie chuckle fondly.

"Awesome. Can't wait." Damari said.

The others were still chatting amongst each other, while Alastor leaned against the wall and watched the whole interaction between Damari, Vaggie, and Charlie. He couldn't help but notice how happy Damari seemed to be, and a feeling of jealousy and annoyance was still present within him. He glanced over at the other Overlords, his eyes specifically landing on Vox for a brief moment.

Then there's presents as Damari opened each one like she received a new remodel of the glass slippers that fits her just right just like from Cinderella movie and it was surprisingly gifted by Velvette, who looks proud. Damari then received an ace of hearts silver ring from Husk, a bouquet of black roses, and a tequila rose strawberry cream bottle from Angel Dust, a duck version of herself from Lucifer, a self defense black skull spiked knuckles keychain from Vaggie, etc.

Everyone was happy to see Damari enjoying the gifts and opening them one by one. Angel and Husk were both secretly happy to see her reaction to the gifts they got her, but they were also secretly getting annoyed at how much Vox was acting. Alastor watched from where he was, silently observing as Damari's expression of joy when she opened the the gifts. He couldn't help but notice when Velvette had given her a remolding of the glass slippers, which he found slightly ironic.

However, he started to notice as each gift came from the others, and he noticed a few certain gifts that Angel and Husk gave to Damari, a few of which got a bit of attention from him. He also saw the duck version of Damari that Lucifer had given her, and he raised an eyebrow at that, confused as to why Lucifer even got her a gift to begin with.

Alastor then began to look around the room once more, his eye landing on the Vees for a moment. He observed them as they conversed and drank, until his eyes landed on Vox once more. He looked at him with an annoyed expression, noticing the few glances that Vox would occasionally shoot at Damari.

Damari received the last presents from the cute little pets. Her pet shark Jeff gave her a drawing of himself with Danika in it along with Charlotte, KeeKee, and Fat Nuggets. He even gave her a present, which is a... largest diamond she had ever seen. She questioned where he got that, which he kept a secret. Then she received a skull bow hairclip from Charlotte, a... dead bird from KeeKee, and a dead flower crown from Fat Nuggets.

"Your gifts are all beautiful. Thank you, guys." she said to everyone who is here.

Everyone smiled happily, seeing how happy Damari was with all the gifts they gave her. Angel and Husk felt a sense of relief to see that Damari liked the gifts they gave her, and they couldn't help but feel a bit proud of themselves. Alastor was happy as well as he noticed she's still wearing that skullflower, much to his pride.

He continued to watch as Damari thanked each of them. Then he glanced over at the Vees again, noticing that Vox was watching Damari with a smirk. Alastor clenched his teeth as he saw Vox staring at her, and he felt a strong feeling of jealousy.

As everyone went back to celebrating, Damari was chatting with Vaggie and Cherri and laughing at the jokes they made. Suddenly, a finger tapped her shoulder, and she turned to see Husk and Angel.

"Hey, would you care for the dance? With us?" Angel offered, holding out his hand along with Husk.

Damari was surprised at the gesture and turned to Vaggie and Cherri, who nodded. She turned back to them and happily replied.

"Sure!"

Husk and Angel then proceeded to gently guide her to the dance floor. Angel and Husks' bodies were close to hers. Husks' right hand was gently grasping her waist, holding Damari close to him. Angels' left hand was wrapped around her upper left arm while his right held her hand in a loose grip. Husks' and Angels' bodies sway in time to the music, Damari's body moving with theirs. She was completely surrounded by them. Angel, occasionally, would throw her a smirk and Husk would press her a little closer to his body.

As the song continues, Husks' hand drifts down to her hip and then slowly back up to her waist. Damari feel Angels' body press up against her back. He rests his chin on her right shoulder and nuzzles her neck.

Husks' left wing brushes against her side as the music continues. They continue to sway together to the music. Angels' right hand brushes up against the skin of Damari's upper arm and Husks' left hand tightens its grip on her hip. Husks' hand moves down to her lower hip, and his right hand rests on her lower back. Damari feel Angels' left hand on her upper back while his right hand moves from her right hand to her hip, slightly above Husks' hand.

Damari was having a nice, breathless moment when someone purposely bumped into them. They turned and froze to see Valentino.

"V-Val... What is it that you need?" Angel Dust stuttered.

"I just thought I'd like some talk to your... friend here." Valentino purred at Damari, who shivered in disgust. "You don't mind, do you?"

Husks' wings bristled and his grip on her tightened. Damari could see the anger, on Husks' and Angels' faces. Husks' hand held tighter onto her hip, his fingers pressing into the skin, while Angels' hand gripped her waist tightly.

The music continued, Angel and Husk continuing to dance to with Damari, but their gazes were now trained on Valentino, their eyes narrowed with anger. She could feel Angels' chin still resting on her shoulder, but he had moved his head a tiniest bit, making his glare to Valentino even more obvious.

"Uh... no, I don't mind." Damari replied, shocking Husk and Angel.

"Are you sure?" Husk asked with concern.

"Yes." she said, not wanting them to start a fight.

Husk and Angel didn't say anything else but their expressions, and body language, said that they very much wanted to punch Valentino in his smug face. Husks' grip on her hip tightened even more, his fingers pressing further into her skin almost painfully.

Angels' hand, that was around her upper back, left her body for a few seconds. When he returned his hand to its original place, Damari could feel his claws digging into her skin slightly, barely enough to make small scratches. Angels' other hand moved so that it was grasping her hand, his grip tight. Husks' right hand was still on her lower back and his wing was almost shielding her from Valentino.

Damari gives them a look that everything is going to be okay. Husk and Angel looked at her for a moment before reluctantly releasing her. Valentino smirked and began leading her where they could talk alone. Husk and Angel are left on the dance floor. They watch closely as Valentino leads Damari away. Their gazes are trained on her, their expressions a mix of anger and worry. Husks' wings bristled with anger, and he looked like he was ready to pounce and rip off Valentinos' head.

As soon as they're alone, Valentino lean against the wall with a flirtatious smirk.

"Enjoying the party?" he asked.

"Very much." Damari nodded, glancing away.

Valentino chuckled, a sly smile spreading across his face as he gazes down at Damari. He pushed himself off the wall and stepped closer to her, his wings flaring out slightly.

"You seem to be a little shy."

"Not really. I was just having fun with Husk and Angel." she said, noticing his sudden closeness.

Valentino smirked even more at the mention of Angel's name. He took another step closer to her, closing the distance between the two of them until only a few inches remain.

"So you're hanging out with those two, huh? An old geezer and a druggie..."

Damari narrowed her eyes as she hissed out, "Don't call them that, Val!"

"You should hang out with someone with much more dignity like me. How about we go somewhere more... private?" he suggested.

Hearing that made Damari immediately see red flags.

"No, thank you. I gotta go back and check on the others."

Valentino chuckled again, a hint of annoyance in his tone this time. He moves closer so that his body is pressing up against hers, trapping her against the wall, his wings flaring out behind him.

Val raised his hand and creased Damari's check. "You sure you don't want to spend time with me? I can make it worth your while, sweetie," he said.

"No, I'm good. I need to go."

Valentino stepped even closer to her, trapping her even further against the wall. His smirk faded a little, now looking a little darker.

"I don't think you understand, doll. I wasn't exactly asking."

Before Damari could act, Operetta, who was seeing the distress and uncomfortable expression on Damari's face, immediately and purposely accidentally knocked the tray of cupcakes into Valentino's face.

"Oh, I'm so sorry about that, sugar!" Operetta fake apologized. "I was just working on my moves."

Operetta wrapped her arm around his shoulders a bit tightly and tugged onto his antenna a bit.

"I didn't see you there. Now you better run along now and clean yourself up."

Valentino sputtered and started to glare at Operetta. He opened his mouth to shout, but then his eye caught Husks' and Angels' gazes over Operettas' shoulder. Husk looked like it took everything he had to not pounce on Valentino. Angel looked just as mad as Husk. Valentino shut his mouth again and pushed Operetta's arm off his shoulder.

"Fine."

Valentino turned and stomped away, disappearing into the crowd. As soon as he was gone, Angel and Husk rushed over to Damari and Operetta.

"Are you okay?" Angel asked with worry.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Thanks for that, Operetta." Damari said.

"No problem, sugar. Honestly, I didn't expect him to be here. Better keep an eye out on him." Operetta said before walking away to go find more cupcakes.

Husk and Angel turned their gazes to Damari, worry clear in their expressions.

"Where did he touch you?" Angel asked again.

"Nothing. He just tried to get close to me." she assured them.

Husk and Angel didn't look convinced by her answer. They continued to study Damari, their eyes looking over her body, probably looking for any other marks. Husk stepped closer and gently grabbed her left chin, moving her head to the side, inspecting her neck.

"Really. I'm fine. How about we continue having fun and get back to dancing?"

Husk and Angel continued looking Damari over, worry still clear on their faces, but they both nodded. They stepped back, and Angel reached down to grasp her hand. Angel and Husk led her back to the dance floor, and the three of them began dancing again. Suddenly, a familiar voice spoke up.

"Or she can dance with someone..."

They turned to see... Casanova with Lola and Scourge standing by him on each side.

"... even better." he finished with a smirk.

Damari gasped in horror along with the Monster High gang to see her ex.
