Caretaker

Okay, so hey everyone.
I will try to update this book every week or so. Sorry that the chapters are so short though.

Compared to the old book I now have a general idea of the story, but there's been another idea on my mind recently.

Every chapter I will ask you all a question about the baby, and then give you two or three answers to choose from. The answer with most votes will be the answer that will shape the child's personality and certain actions through the story.

But it's only an idea. If you guys don't wanna do it then say it, but if you want then from the next chapter there will be questions.

----------------------------------------

Error started to think that taking the child with him may not have been such a good idea after all.

Yes, the baby was remotely quiet for it's age. And yes, they weren't being a real bother.

But what the hell is he supposed to do with them?

Error knows nothing about kids, other then the fact that like most people they needed to eat and sleep a lot.

And due to Error's... reputation in the multiverse, he couldn't just go to an AU and go shopping in there.

Would be kinda funny to see people's reactions to seeing a deadly creature like him buy things for a baby.

Oh the news would go around fast.

But he really couldn't deal with Ink trying to find out who's the baby or even the other parent.

As if Error could ever have a partner.

Speaking of the baby - they were currently playing with some of Error's puppets.

Error was knitting a new one while sitting down, but kept on being distracted by the child

They were both currently in the Anti-Void. Yes, Error knows that this isn't a good place for the baby, but he doesn't really have anywhere else to go.

He's going to have to figure out where to keep them.

Maybe in some kind of an old AU? They're mostly abandoned by now, but it doesn't mean that Ink wouldn't accidentally stumble across them.

The annoying thing is that there's practically no place in the multiverse that Ink can't go to.

Unless...

Error was once again snapped out of his thoughts as he felt something tug at his pants.

He looked over to his right and saw the child staring at him with it's big eye sockets.

"wHat?" He grumbled, raising his bone brows in question.

Still holding Error's pants with one hand and holding a puppet with the other, the child blinked at the glitching skeleton before it's gaze went forward the puppet and they started to giggle.

Error blinked. He looked at the doll and blinked again.

It was a puppet of Dream.

He looked at the child again and frowned.

... Did they like Dream or something? Why? He's just another monster that hates Error for doing what he has to. Sure, he's an important part of the balance between negativity and positivity but...

Error paused.

And then smacked himself internally.

Now how the hell was the baby supposed to know any of that?

They probably just like the puppet because of how it looks.

Every child has a favorite toy, right?

Right.

Error sighed before abandoning the unfinished doll and letting his strings put it up with all the others.

He looked over at the child again as saw them cuddling the Dream puppet.

Well, let's just hope that the kid won't ever meet Dream in person because it'll most certainly be very interesting.
