"I can't do this. Rosie my love, I can't do this."

"Darling, you did so fine just an hour ago."

"And yet, here I am with only two paragraphs." 

Rose Lalonde laughed and kissed her fiancee on the cheek. Y/n L/n was stressing over the latest book she was writing, that was supposed to have been edited and done by yesterday. "It's fine if you don't mean the deadline, everyone is still immersed in your last book." She said in a soothing tone. "Rose, you mean you are immersed in my past book." Y/n sighed and slammed her laptop closed. "I just have to finish this last chapter, everything else is already to go and be published!" Rose lazily wrapped her arms around Y/n's shoulders and kissed her once again. Y/n shifted to get away from her and walked off, fuming. Rose looked helplessly at the poor girl.

"I just don't know what to do Kanaya." Y/n said into her coffee cup. "I've been behind in the book, I haven't planned anything for the wedding, and I've been ignoring Rose." Kanaya patted the young girl's back and chuckled into her own cup of coffee. This was normal for the moirails, going on platonic coffee date to relieve their stressful work. "I hate being an author," She grumbled, and drowned her sorrows in caffeine. "I shouldn't have accepted the ring with the knowledge of ignoring my Rose." Kanaya laughed out loud, much to her moirail's surprise. "What's so funny?" "Why, You My Dear." Kanaya wiped tears of mirth from her eyes before explaining. "You Clearly Need A Day Off. I Can Help With That, Consider It An Early Wedding Gift." "Would you really do that?" Y/n asked. The fashionable troll nodded her head before being tackled into a hug. "Thank you so much, Kanaya! Now, what do you have in mind?" "Well, I Was Thinking.."

"Alright Y/n, what is so important that you have to drag me?" Rose said humorously. She hadn't seen the girl's excitement in such a long time, and loved the attention. "Just make sure your eyes stay shut, love." Y/n said in a giddy voice. She was holding onto her fiancee's hand, leading her to the perfect place. "I swear it's worth your while." "Anything with you is worth my while." Y/n blushed bright pink and stopped at the place. "We're here." Rose opened her eyes and gasped. "Y/n, I. I can't- I have no words!"

A clear path was leading to a waterfall. The day was already quite warm, and the water was so cold. There was a grassy area with a small picnic set up, with all of the pair's favorite foods. "I'm sorry I've been ignoring you for the book," Y/n said in a shy tone. Rose looked at her with happiness in her eyes and smiled brightly. "I wanted to spend time with you." Rose gave her an even larger smile and took Y/n by the hand to go to the food. 

The couple spend the rest o their day in the sunshine at water, laughing when the other would pull a joke and smile when making a quote from a book. When the sun began fading, Rose turned to Y/n and hugged her tight. "I loved today." Y/n blushed and curled up beside the girl on the blanket. "I'm glad we took time off for this," She remarked. "I missed being with you." Rose nodded and kissed Y/n lightly on the lips. Y/n went pink and cuddled up to Rose and star-gazed.

"I wish we will always be like this."

"Me too."

"But you know what I really want to do right now?"

 Rose gave a mischievous smile. Y/n, on guard now, asked, "What do you want to do?" "This." 

"ROSE DANIELLE LALONDE!" Y/n screamed. She was soaking wet form being pushed into the freezing waterfall. Rose ran off laughing, only looking behind her to se that her fiancee was only a few feet away. "That was freezing!" Y/n complained, hugging the now cold girl. Rose laughed and kissed Y/n once more, a longer one that was deeper. "I love you, my darling Y/n." the smaller girl blushed and hugged the other girl tighter. "I love you too, my Rosie."
