Special: What if Magnus met her first. (part one)

Blue skies were tinged with white fluffy clouds as a stream of breath vapor disturbed the clear vision. The violet-red eyes that were gazing up at the sky blinked, letting silvery eyelashes flutter in front of the jewel like orbs. The smooth alabaster skin of an albino teenager hid under the shade of a parasol and her specially made school uniform. Her school jacket could barely keep back the biting cold. Her leggings and skirt could not save her from the winter air. Her pink lips let out another stream of vapor as clouds covered the sky. She closed the parasol after giving it a twirl. The albino ran her delicate hands through her long and silky Silvery hair, the floating curls beside her head bobbed. School had ended a few minutes before and she was walking home.
It was yet another day of school, nothing special. Just teenagers being teenagers and teachers trying to do their jobs. The young woman looked back at the schoolhouse, watching the other students leave. Whether they walked home, drove, rode the bus or were picked up by parents. She felt a small pang of jealousy as she saw parents drive by with their kids in the cars and the other schoolmates walking home with their friends. She could walk home with some, but they would depart from her long before she would get home. That was the price to pay for living on the edge of the city, so deep in nature and away from other humans. But, that's how her father liked to live.

"Looks like snow is coming again.," the pale skinned girl spoke softly as she began to walk on the sidewalk that was wet from melted and shoveled snow.
She passed trees that were decorated with snow and icicles. There was something beautiful about the snowy landscape for the albino. She took a deep breath before letting it out. A large cloud of vapor filled the air and dissappeared. The young woman's shoes tapped on the pavement as she moved, her long hair swayed behind her. It was a friday and she had homework to do. Might as well stop at the local coffee shop. The albino girl's steps were soon joined by another. Someone with larger and heavier steps. The young woman looked behind her and almost stumbled.
A man was walking behind her. A man that looked strangely like her father. This man had a mane of pale golden hair that stuck up like a mountain. His brows seemed to be permanently furrowed in an annoyed expression. Pale skin that was littered with scars, the most prominent was a scar below his left eye and multiple on his arms. His smokey blue eyes had a cruel hardness to them. This man was tall, close to six foot eight, and pretty muscular. He had stubble on his chin and looked to be in his thirties. The man's eyes did not acknowledge the teen beside him, he seemed more focused on the coffee shop they both were heading towards. His black shirt was covered by a deep red vest and a black coat, a crimson tie was tied around the collar of the shirt. His deep red pants seemed to be barely larger than his muscled legs. Was he some sort of office worker that moonlights as a weightlifter or fighter?
Silently, both entered the coffee shop. It was pretty crowded with teens from the local high school and people who worked from home. The albino girl sighed silently as the man let out a quiet huff of irritation.

'Guess we had the same thought.,' she thought to herself and looked up at the man who walked to the counter to order his drink.
She hung back to look for an empty table and found one. Right before the man took it. The table had another chair on the other side, perhaps she could ask to use the other side of the table to do her homework. She walked up to the counter and made her own order before walking to the table. The man seemed to be lost in his thoughts as he stared at the greying skies. The blond man's head was propped up by his hand. His smokey blue eyes swam and swirled in his mind. The violet-red eyed teen walked up to the table hesitantly. The mere sight of this man who appeared similar to her father caused her to shiver, she could feel that this man was dangerous when he wanted to be.
"Excuse me, is it okay for me to sit here as well?," the albino teen asked the man.
Hard smokey blue eyes cast over to the girl before he lifted his head from his palm and faced her, turning his huge body towards her. He looked like he was going to speak words of rejection yet stopped. His mouth closed as his eyes seemed to slightly soften.
"Sir?," the girl stepped back, just in case of him being dangerous.
The man caught his voice finally and spoke, "Go ahead."
His voice was deep and somewhat harsh. But, it had a smoothness and tone to it that made the girl feel somewhat comforted by the mere sound of it. She sat down and pulled a workbook from her bag. She then took a pencil and eraser from her pencil case to do her work. The man was looking out of the window again as the teen began to work on her schoolwork. The girl hoped that her father would not mind that she stopped to warm up in the coffee shop and get something warm to drink on the walk home.

The young woman heard the barista call out names familiar to her. Ones of people that were regulars and locals. One name was called that was not local.

"Magnus!"

This name made the blond man beside the teen get up and retrieve the drink he bought. The albino girl smelled a faint scent of cigarettes and alcohol on him. Not too much to make it disgusting, but enough to give him a bit of a smokey scent that mixed well with his own scent. A mature and oddly soothing scent. The teen looked up to watch the man walk to the counter and back. He got back to the table and stopped after seeing the girl watching him. His face no longer had the hardness it had before, instead, his handsome face seemed to be somewhat intrigued by the much younger girl.
"So, your name is Magnus? You must be new, I've never heard that one before.," the albino smiled, trying to be friendly, "Welcome."
Magnus simply made a nod and sat back down. He did not reply. His eyes cut to what the girl was doing.
Finally, he spoke, "You know my name, what is yours?"
The albino began to speak after lifting her head up, but the barista beat her to it.

"(Y/n)!"

The albino teen got up and retrieved her hot green tea. A mix of herbal and green. Lavender leading the flavor pack. She came back to the man waiting for her from what his eyes told her.
"Nice to meet you, (y/n).," the blond man spoke with a voice that was deep and gentle.
"You as well, Magnus.," the pale girl smiled, her cheeks dusted with a rosy color.
The man's lips pulled up into a smile as he raised his cup to his mouth.
"I am indeed new to town, I have just settled in.," the man spoke, "I came here from Denmark, following a job."
"From Denmark? That's funny, my dad and I are from Scandinavia as well!," the silver haired young woman said with a friendly grin, "That must explain why you two look so similar!"
Magnus made a small chuckle that would have made someone's blood run cold, but it had no effect on the girl who sensed no malicious intent from him. He placed his cup down and looked at the teen who seemed to be struggling with a math question.
"Perhaps.," the man responded, "May I ask what you're doing there?"
"My homework, my teacher teaches the lessons in a way that very few people understand.," the girl answered, "I'm trying to figure it out myself, but I'm getting stuck."
The blond man motioned for her to let him see the equation before he pointed to a set of the numbers in the equation, "Start with these ones. Then it should be a little easier."

(Y/n) looked at the numbers with a puzzled expression before following Magnus's advice, only to find that he was correct. She was able to solve it.
"Can you help me?," the girl asked the man.
Her large and jewel like eyes pleaded to the man, he looked away. What she did not know was that he was scanning the shop for signs of people getting suspicious of him or any faces he recognized, she thought he was a little annoyed or embarrassed. He turned back and leaned closer to the girl and the workbook to explain the equations. He had time. It wouldn't hurt him to assist this girl. Before long, he had given her in depth tutoring for more subjects she was having trouble with. He lifted his cup to find that it was already empy. To his surprise, so was (y/n)'s.
He took her cup, "What drink did you get?"
"Lavender green tea garden mix.," the albino answered, "Why?"
"I'll pay for your next one.," Magnus replied and stood before the smaller Scandinavian could stop him. He already had ordered and paid by the time she got up to the counter. Her stomach grumbled, complaining about her not having a filling lunch and being late to dinner. The pale girl groaned a little from this.
The man looked behind him and pointed to the baked goods in the display cabinet.
"Want one?," he asked.
"No, I don't. And you don't have to pay for my drink or food.," the albino girl said as the tall man held the drink out for her.
She took the cup from Magnus. He still had a slight smile on his face as he and (y/n) walked back to the table together. He continued to tutor her before he noticed that the sun was beginning to set. The albino girl noticed it as well and began to panic.
"Oh no! Far will be angry if I'm late!," the teen said as she hurriedly packed her things and ran out of the shop.

Magnus did not stop her as she needed to get home. But he was glad that he met her. After all, he had just met a goddess, even if she did not know it. His mood was lifted up above the foul one he had been in before. Taking a little bit of time away from his brothers for this mission was the best idea he had. He could assassinate his target with ease and keep an eye on (y/n). It was okay, he had time to kill before he had to go back to his siblings. The blond man was happy that he was able to help her with her work, not that the schoolwork would matter after he fulfilled his goal. The blond man stayed at the shop until it closed, he then went back to the hotel room he had settled in. His smile never left his face. He though how delicate and pretty that (y/n) looked. Her skin was clear of acne and blemishes, as he would expect of her. Plus her father would have kept her on a strict skincare routine. Her long hair was silken and silvery. Large red-violet eyes that held kindness and innocence in them, framed by beautiful long and feathery eyelashes of white. The smokey blue eyes of the man looked down at his hand, he still had one of the girl's workbooks and her writing journal.
The blond Dane set the workbook down and opened the journal, it may be for her classes, but it would also have valuable information about the albino woman's mental processes. The writing showed her innocent sweetness. He was also able to see other aspects of her perception of life and the world.
"So you've protected her and taught her to be a good girl, Malthe.," Magnus mused, "For a traitor, you are a decent father for her."
After he read through the book, he realized that she would need it for school the next Monday. That would be a perfect excuse to see her again.

(Y/n) sighed as she walked to school the next monday. Her father had fussed at her for staying out late on friday, but understood after she told him that she met up with someone to study with. Her father, Malthe, did not ask for more details as she had studied with classmates before. Just not this late. The girl watched as her vapor cloud dissapated. Her shoes made clipping sounds on the cement as she walked to school. Her head was flowing through her assignments before that man from before came to her mind. Magnus was so knowledgeable and kind. His eloquent speech and clever explanations helped her so much. She wondered if he could help her study again. She then thought of the books she lost, did he have the books?
Her eyes cast up from the the pavement below her as she approached the school. The girl saw a mane of blond hair on the tall man standing next to the gate. His smokey blue eyes were cast up into the endless blue sky above as he stood next to the walls of stone and gate of ornately shaped metal. The albino girl walked up to the man that was being passed by students who would look before turning away, either from fear or to speak cruel ramblings and gossips. The silvery haired girl walked up to the man.
"Good morning, Magnus.," (y/n) greeted the blond man.
His blue eyes cast down to the girl in front of him. His hard face softened slightly.
"Godmorgen, (y/n).," the Danish man greeted back.
Students passed by the two, talking quietly. They seem to think that Magnus was the albino girl's father. The teen felt a little bit embarrassed that he was there in front of her.
The man opened his heavy coat and took two books out from the inside pocket before handing the books to her, "You left these behind."
Her violet red eyes looked down to see her workbook and journal. She looked back up to the man as he patted her soft hair with his large hand. He was surprisingly friendly and genlte for a gruff looking danish businessman.
"Go. School is going to start soon. You don't want to be late.," the man said.

The albino girl hurriedly agreed and to her books before giving him a small goodbye. She walked onto the school grounds as Magnus turned to leave. She turned back to see him walk off. He seemed to be happy that day. Perhaps something good happened to him. (Y/n) Continued into the school, holding the books close to her. She could smell Magnus's scent on the books. This mature scent felt somehow nostalgic. Like she had smelled it before many years ago. Did she know Magnus from somewhere in the past? She walked to class and sat in her seat silently. Now she had to focus on school and not standing out. Something that is very hard to do as an albino. The pale girl retrieved her homework and gave it to the teacher before going back to her desk. She could hear her classmates whisper mean things and gossip.
It was the same song and dance every school day. It was monotonous. The albino girl wished that perhaps one of her father's friends would visit. Or maybe someone else like Magnus would come into town to visit. Something that could let her have some sort of fun. But, then again there was something soothing about the monotony. She listened to the teacher as the lesson began. The albino listened as well as she could, but her thoughts kept wandering back to Magnus. Why did she keep thinking about him? Why was there some sort of force that was pulling her towards him?

Magnus was having trouble with keeping (y/n) off his mind as well. But, he knew what he wanted to do would scare her. And he did not need that happening. He needed her trust. He needed her company. He needed her. He and his brothers did. The blond Dane began to light a cigarette before stopping. He remembered being scolded by his mother before for smoking around (y/n). The man put it out and got rid of the butt. His smokey blue eyes looked back to the school building. His pale golden hair blew in the biting winter breeze. A smile grace his face, at least he knew that (y/n) was safe. Turning back to his mission, his face hardened. He had a few hours to complete what he needed to do and then see if he could meet up with the teen again. He just hoped this person he had to dispose of would not be as messy as the others. Perhaps he can use more torturous methods that are cleaner to pull information as well as kill this target.
The Dane walked by the coffee shop that he and the albino met in. He looked fondly into the shop before continuing on his way. Nothing was going to ruin this emotional high that he had. He was happy, even if his face did not show it. The Grey world around him began to look colorful from this sudden happiness. The sound of his phone caught his attention. He answered it.
"Hej, Magnus Køhler.," he spoke.
"Maggie~ We miss you.," Came a voice from the caller, purposely trying to ittitate the blond man.
"Nice try Loki.," the Dane said with a small smile.

"Who are you and what have you done with my brother?," Loki asked, "There's no way in hell that Magnus would be this happy in the morning."
"I met someone on Friday.," Magnus answered, "She and I had some drinks and discussed many subjects."
Loki was silent for a bit before he spoke, "Mor would be so proud of you, finding someone who is so compatible with a monster like yourself."
This irked the blond man, his brother was annoying.
"I will not have that type of relationship with this young woman.," Magnus replied, "For she is more important than that. I believe I found our missing goddess."
Again, Loki was silent. This time stunned. Magnus waited for him to speak, yet no words came out.
"Loki?," The Dane was a little worried.
"I want to see her.," the voice of his younger brother said.
"Not yet. I want her to be comfortable with me before introducing her to you or the others.," the blond man explained, "But I'll try to introduce the idea of you through conversation."

Loki sighed on the other line. Magnus could feel his irritation.
"I want you to be on your best behavior when I do let her see you.," the Dane said as he approached the location of his target, "So I want you to use your charm and don't scare her."
He could hear Loki chuckling madly on the other side of the line, "Will do, Maggie. She really does have you in a good mood."
Magnus disconnected the call and put his phone back in his pocket. He just needed to finish this task and clean up, then he could go see the precious albino again.
"Just be patient, little sister. Your brother is going to be right there when you are finished with school.," the man said to himself as he pulled out a hidden weapon from his coat, "I just need to take care of this filth first."
