A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.

Mignon McLaughlin

------------

Sahir sneaks up to his darling wife Sia with a huge grin. She is getting dressed in front of the dressing table and is looking mesmerizing in a red saree. Sahir hugs her from behind and kisses her on the shoulder which Sia smiles to with a hammering heart.

Even today after years Sahirs one touch burns Sias skin and her knees turns jelly. "Happy silver jubilee once again my love." He whispers into her ear to wish her and Sia turns around with a huge smile. "You're looking stunning." He adds with sincerity.

"Thank you my beloved and same to you." She says while wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Where's my gift?" Sahir query with mischievousness and Sia raises an eyebrow.

Sahirs eyes twinkle. "I gave you them in the morning?" Sia reminds him.

She had bought him his favorite set of perfume, a new watch, a couple of shirts and a pair of golden cufflinks.

Sahir on the other hand had surprised her with a huge bouquet of red roses, 250 to be exact, helium filled balloons, and a set of diamond necklace with matching earrings. His habit of spoiling her only increases with each year. On their first wedding anniversary he gifted her a splendid new car even though her old baby functioned perfectly.

"Yes, and I loved them but." He pulls her closer to him which makes a small gasp leave Sias lips. "But there's something more priceless than that." He whispers huskily while tucking away a strand of her wavy hair behind her ear.

Sias breathing turns slightly uneven. "Like what?" She inquires barely audible and Sahir smirks seeing the effect he has on her.

He points at his lips and heat rushes to Sias cheek. Sahir chuckles seeing her state and nuzzles their noses while she closes her eyes. "Oh gosh, I love you so much." Sahir verbalizes with passion.

"I love you too." A shy Sia manages to say before Sahir leans in.

Sahir loves the way he can feel Sia smile in the middle of their kiss. Still after twenty-five years her jasmine fragrance drives him crazy. Not much has changed, except of their appearance and height of success. Sahirs brand Sia became a worldwide sensation and is till date one of the most sought after brands.

Time has surely set mark on them but they have aged well. Sahir is still handsome and Sia a epitome of beauty.  Their eyes still twinkles with affection for each other.

Yes, a wrinkle or two has carved their ways on to their faces and a few fine gray hair has also made sure to peek out, but that's a easy task for a hairdresser to conceal.

They drive off to the banquette hall where they for the first time had met. Their grown up children Ameera and Shaan has thrown a grand celebration for them there.

Sia spaces out in the car. "I can't believe twenty-five years has passed by so quickly." She verbalizes softly with a distant gaze and soft smile.

Sahir can hear the nostalgia in Sias voice. "At least it doesn't show. I mean look at me, I am so handsome that ladies still run after me." He teases which Sia responds to with a sideway glance while having a perfect eyebrow raised. "Just kidding, it is you who still give young girls competition. You don't look one day over twenty-five." He truthfully compliments with a wink.

Sia slaps his arm. "Sahir, stop it. Act your age, we have grown up kids now." Sia acts annoyed and does her best to hold back a amused smile.

Sahir takes her hand in his. "I know that babe, but what can I do, in front of you I turn young again." He winks and plants a kiss on the back of her hand.

Sia can't help to laugh at his adorable cum childish behavior.

Just when Sia and Sahir takes a step inside the hall, they're met by their offsprings. "Mom! Wow, you're looking so amazing! Happy anniversary." Ameera jumps seeing her adorable parents.

Ameera has grown up to be a gorgeous young lady. Pitch black hair, soft golden brown eyes and a smile to die for. She is her daddy's little princess and doesn't take crap. From a very young age she has mastered the skill to wrap someone around her little finger.

Sias eyes twinkle hearing her daughter compliment her. "Thanks my child, you're not looking any less." She hugs her with motherly affection.

Ameera hugs her back lovingly. "Of course, I mean I am after all your daughter. It has to be seen." She boasts proudly and they chuckle. "Wow, dad! Handsome much." She exclaims when her eyes lands on her father.

Sahir puts his arm around his precious daughters shoulders. "Thanks princess. You're looking beautiful, nothing new though." He tells her proudly.

Shaan, their very handsome son, steps forward. "Congrats mom and dad." Shaan hugs his mother sideways.

Shaan is his mothers pride. He is the perfect son, brother and friend. No fuss in life and is very down to earth, completely the opposite of his twin sister.

"Thanks handsome." Sia holds her arm around him.

They all walk further in to the banquette hall and is greeted by the guests. Everyone comes forward to either wish them or exchange a few words to socialize.

The fierce couple sits down with their family and friends. Everyone from Sias and Sahirs family has showed up to grace the event. Sanaya and Arnav flew in earlier in the day from Manchester with their just turned adult daughter Khushi.

All their other friends, relatives and colleagues are also present. The atmosphere is cheerful as they talk, laugh and share jokes with each other.

Sahir eyes spots his newest business partner and excuses himself with Sia. The young man with beautiful blue eyes smiles widely seeing Sahir.

With a signature smile he hands over the flower bouquet to the couple. "Congratulation Mr and Mrs. Khan, I wish you many more beautiful years to come." He says with his piercing blue eyes shining.

"Thank you so much young boy." Sahir holds him firmly on his shoulder. "Sia, meet Adam. The recent addition to our business. He might be young but he is a hard working man with a very sharp brain." Sahir introduces proudly and Adam smiles towards Sia.

"Hello ma'am." He greets politely and Sia returns the smile seeing him so well mannered.

"Hello Adam, nice to finally meet you." Sia replies to his greeting with warmth.

"Pleasure is all mine. I would like you to meet my parents. Mom, dad meet Mr and Mrs. Khan. My new business partner and his wife." Adam presents his parents before Sahir and Sia.

Sahir extends his hand to Adams father. "Nice to meet you Mr. Khan and congratulations." He wishes Sahir with a firm handshake.

Sahir smiles. "Thank you so much. Nice to meet you too and please call me Sahir." He beams.

Adam is a carbon copy of his father. The same blue eyes, defined bone structure and tall height. However, Adam has more of a golden brown hair color whereas his father has jet black hair.

"Sahir it is then, I'm Shawn." Adams father, Shawn, says with a polite smile.

Sia mimics her husband and extends her hand towards Adams mother. "Hi, my name is Sia." She greets with a grin while introducing herself.

Sias eyes twinkle while she takes in Adams mothers appearance. "Hello. Pleasure to meet you, myself Sana." Sana shakes her hand with Sia and Sia can't help to admire her features.

"You're really beautiful and have a handsome young son." Sia shares a piece of her mind and Sana smiles humbly.

"Thank you so much, you're stunning yourself and congratulations." Sana says and praises her back.

"Wait, let me introduce you to my children." Sahir says with eagerness and scans the hall with his eyes. "Ameera! Come here." He calls and waves at his daughter when he spots her.

Ameera walks up to them with her dark blue dress elegantly swirling behind her. "Where is Shaan?" Sahir inquires when she halts beside him with a small perplexed smile.

She shrugs and tries to spot her brother with her eyes but in vein. "I don't know he is attending the guests I guess." Ameera takes a glance at the person standing in front of her father and her eyes widen in disbelief. "You!? What are you doing here?" She almost shouts disgusted.

Adams jaw tightens while his fists clenches. He stares into Ameeras golden brown eyes with fire dancing in his own blue gaze. Ameera doesn't back down and glares at him with equal intensity. Their parents eyes them confused.

Sahir clears his voice. "You guys know each other?" He inquires suspiciously and eyes Adam accusingly.

Adam tears away his gaze from Ameera as he doesn't want to seem rude. "No." He simply states.

Ameera grimaces with a sneer. "Yes! Dad he is just horrible. Remember I told you about some idiot bumping into my car a few days ago?" Sahir nods remembering. "It was him!" She snaps while her blood boils.

Sana gapes at Adam and is ready to pull his ear while Shawn furrows his brows confused. Adam doesn't let anyone speak.

He keeps his external calm and turns to Ameera. "It wasn't my fault. You were the one who were driving in the wrong field and I saw you too late as you showed up from nowhere." Adam verbalizes coldly.

Ameera rolls her eyes while crossing her arms. "Yeah, yeah blame it on me now!" She says arrogantly.

"Ameera!" Sias voice snaps her out of her high pedestal. "You were driving on the wrong field?!" She questions her daughter baffled.

Ameera gulps and shakes her head slowly. "No." She hesitantly says and Adam narrows his icy eyes at her with fire evident in them. "Ok, yes but it was still his fault." She changes her statement.

Sia shakes her head at her daughter while Adams parents uncomfortably witnesses it all. "Ameera you can't drive on the wrong field. Why would you do that?" Sia query with devastation and worry laced in her voice.

Ameera sighs. "I had to turn around and just impulsively did it there to spare time." She shrugs as if it is no big deal.

"That's illegal princess!" Sahir finally comments disappointed. "Be happy he didn't take any legal action against you." He shakes his head and turns to Adam. "I apologize for my daughters behavior." He utter and Ameera glares at Adam through her lashes.

Adam ignored her and shakes his head. "No, please don't apologize to me. You're my senior and it just feels wrong." He sincerely replies.

Sia smiles witnessing Adams humbleness. "You have done a great job in raising him Sana." Sia turns to Sana with glee.

Sanas beams with proudness running through her veins. "Thank you. To be honest, I didn't need to do much. He had all the right values in him from the very beginning." Sia smiles with warmth meeting Adams ocean blue eyes and he returns the gesture.

Sahir tries to lighten the atmosphere again. "So as you all might have noticed this is my daughter Ameera." He introduces and turns his attention to his daughter. "You have already met Adam, my recent business associate, and this is his parents." He informs his daughter and she seem a bit embarrassed.

"Hello." Ameera ignores Adam and smiles at his parents.

"Hi, you're really beautiful Ameera." Sana compliments her fondly whereas Adam, not being able to digest that, grimaces.

Ameeras eyes twinkle. "Thanks and same to you Aunti." She beams.

After exchanging a few pleasant words, Sahir and Sia takes Adam parents with them to their table. Ameera full on glares at Adam now. Whereas Adam meets her gaze unbothered and expressionless.

"This is all your fault!" She accuses with anger. "For the very first time my dad refused to take my side." She continues to inform him.

Adam rolls his eyes. "Well, I guess he knows the difference between right and wrong which you clearly don't." Adam calmly tells her.

"Shut up." Ameera frowns.

"Ameera!" Adam and her head snaps towards Sias. "Is that a way to speak to someone?" Sia scolds and Ameera sighs.

"But mom." She starts but is cut off.

"No buts, I am sorry Adam" Sia apologizes and turns to Ameera before he can reply. "And you young lady come with me right now." Sia almost drags Ameera with her while Ameera glares at Adam.

Adam doesn't leave her gaze until she is gone and Sana touches his forearm which snaps him out of his trance. "Adam, don't mess with the poor child." She tells him softly and he frowns.

"She is not poor mom. You know that I can't stand arrogant people, and she is unfortunately on top of that very list." Adam enlightens his mother rather snappily.

Sana sighs. "Everyone is different and I am sure beyond her arrogance facade she is a soft hearted young girl with dreams." She tells him with seriousness.

Adam ponders over her words for a moment. "Well, I hope you're right but don't get your hopes up." He alerts her.

"Adam." Sana raises an eyebrow and watches him pointedly.

"Sorry." He slowly drags out the word to satisfy his mother.

"Sahir this is all your fault! All your pampering has gone to her head." Sia scolds him and Sahir gazes at his daughter with a blank expression.

Ameera runs a hand down her hair annoyed. "No dad it hasn't. It is just that one moron who manages to bring the worst out of me. Didn't you find any other person to do business with?" She gives a piece of her mind and Sia glares at her.

"Ameera, language." Sahir firstly comments and she instantly bites the inside of her cheek. "He is one of the leading businessman out there today and has accomplished a lot for his young age. He is beneficial for our company. I expect you to behave and be nice." Sahir adds sternly and Ameera looks down on her hands while she bitterly remembers the ill fated day when she met Adam.

Ameera was gasping and had her hands covering her mouth in horror. "Hey you!" She shouted while walking out of her car. "How dare you to slam in to my precious?" She continued to scream at the man in front of her who had made his way out of his car quicker than her.

The man being Adam, met her gaze with his piercing blue eyes which she in any other situation would have admired. "Excuse me?" He frowned. "You're the one driving on the wrong field!" He did his best to not lose his temper.

Ameera raised an eyebrow. "So?" She challenged him. "That does not mean you must cause a accident!" She snapped at him.

Adam held her gaze with rage and his breathing turned heavy. "You know what I don't have time for this, if you want I can pay for the damages." He said through gritted teeth.

Ameera scoffed feeling offended. "Oh please, Mr. Showoff. You don't know who I am! I can buy ten new cars within the snap of my fingers." She boasted and Adam just stared at her with a bored expression.

"Who are you?" He inquired with crossed arms.

His attitude made her frown. "Ameera! Remember the name! My dad is one of the finest businessman in the world and I am his princess." She introduced herself with passion.

Adam stared at her with disbelief. "Oh, so that's your identity?" He dragged the words purposely. "A spoilt and beyond pampered daughter to a rich father. Born with a silver spoon in her mouth, great. Nice to meet you." He uttered the last sentence with sarcasm dripping.

"Oh shut up!" She snapped not expecting that. "You're just jealous. Just for your information I am also a fashion designer and soon going to be on top!" She told him with her index finger pointed at him.

Adam shook his head in disbelief. "Well, get back to me when you are so I can congratulate you. For now I would like to spare my brain cells." He uttered more and more irritated with each passing second.

He turned to walk away when her words made him halt. "Who will pay for the damage?" She questioned and Adam turned around astonished.

"Well, Ms. Fashion Designer. I thought you could buy ten new cars within a few seconds." He reminded her of her own similar statement and she just shrugged.

"I don't want to involve my dad into this." She told him truthfully.

She doesn't want to risk her dad getting mad at her for not being careful or more like following the rules.

"A small piece of advice, learn to be independent and don't go around showing off false attitude when even the arrogance you're carrying is due to your parents mercy." Adam told her a piece of his mind and handed her his business card. "Here's my card. Call my personal assistant and she'll transfer the amount you need to repair your car, sorry I mean your dads car." He instructed her with loath.

Ameera felt awfully small by his words.  "No one has ever dared to insult me. You have messed with the wrong girl Mr. Showoff, I am so going to make you regret your words if you ever cross my path again." Ameera tore the card into small pieces and harshly threw it at his face.

Adams ice cold gaze was bored into hers. "Be glad that my parents has taught me to respect woman. I hope to never meet you again." He told her with a vein throbbing on his neck.

With that said he turned around and walked to his car while putting his sunglasses on. Wanna be Hollywood actor, Ameera had bitterly thought for herself.

Adams parents are sitting cosily. His dads arm is rested around his mother. Shawns eyes twinkle seeing the lovely atmosphere.

"Sana, the decoration here reminds me of our own marriage. I can't believe it has been twenty years already since I proposed to you on the roof top." Shawn whispers to Sana and she smiles warmly at him.

Sana and Shawn had settled down in Sweden after their marriage. Shawn is though originally from America while Sana was born and raised in Sweden. However, a couple of years back they decided to move to England as Adam was kin on studying and later on also settling down here.

"I still can't believe you actually did that, it was so out of your character. Sana tells her husband amused. "However, I loved every bit of it and will never forget even a single word of yours uttered that day." She intervenes their hands and blushes a bit while telling him.

Shawn makes circles with his thumb on her shoulder which makes warmth spread to every corner of her body. "I love you, you know that?" Shawn verbalizes with his ocean blue intense eyes locked with her brown gaze.

Even after twenty years they manages to give the other one butterflies in the stomach.

Sana nods with a hammering heart. "I love you more." She whispers shyly and his heart swells.

He loves when those words comes from her as she rarely verbalizes those words. She had made him wait long enough the first time, which had driven him to insecurity.

"What are you two lovebirds whispering about?" Sia coos teasingly which makes a crimson Sana involuntarily grin.

Shawn smiles amused. "Just old memories when our journey to marriage just had initiated." She enlightens nostalgic.

Sia smiles witnessing affection in their eyes for each other. "Did you have a love or arranged marriage?" She inquires curiously.

Sana ponders for a moment. "More or less both. To be honest, it was a bit complicated." She honestly shares with them.

Sia and Sahir exchange surprised glances. "How come?" Sia query perplexed.

"Well our journey began with me kidnapping her." Shawn drops the bomb with a amused smirk, not that he is proud of his previous actions though.

The couple in front of them gapes. "You're kidding right?" Sahir inquires baffled now.

Shawn shakes his head. "No, it is true." Sana confirms with a soft amused smile of her own.

"Tell us!" Sia exclaims excited, more than eager to know more.

"Some other time as it is quite a long story, plus it is your anniversary. It's your story we would like to hear about, how did it all begin?" Sana cleverly diverts the attention away from them.

Sia smiles with glee as she reminisces the past. "With hate and revenge. He was out after my wings and decided to marry me by hook or crock. However, we didn't even realize when our intense hate had turned in to love." Sia shares with them and Sana listens to a happy Sia in awe.

"Well, we always had chemistry. On top of that our paths crossed again and again, so I guess destiny called for it." Sahir adds with a proud grin which makes everyone chuckle.

Shawn spots his darling daughter. "Hey Shawna!" She turns her head to see her calling father and walks up to her parents. "Where were you?" Shawn inquires and she seem nervous.

She fidgets with her hands. "Sorry dad, I just got a bit lost and met a few old friends." She hesitantly speaks while running a hand down her long brown hair.

Shawn smiles. "It is ok, Sia and Sahir meet our daughter Shawna. Sahir is Adams new business partner." He introduces and Shawna gives a warm smile.

"Oh, hello." She greets shyly.

Shawna has mostly taken after her dad when it comes to personality. She is a girl of few words. However, when you get close to her she turns in to a total chatterbox just like her mother.

"Hello young lady, how are you?" Sahir replies with a smile.

"Good thank you." Shawna replies politely.

Sia takes Shawns hand with affection and make her sit down next to her. "Sana, I must say. Your children are gorgeous." Sia feels obliged to comment seeing their strong genes.

Sana smiles. "Thank you, your Ameera is no less than stunning and a reflection of you." She honestly verbalizes. "I haven't met your son yet." Just then Sias eyes detects her pride Shaan.

"When speaking of the devil." Sia smiles. "Shaan, come here." She calls and the young man walks up to them.

Shawnas heart skips a beat in nervousness when her mind registers the person in front of her. "Yes mom." Shaan politely quizzes while he does his best to not shift his gaze to the girl in front of him.

Shaan can feel her gaze on him as it is pricking his skin. "Meet Shawn, Sana and their daughter Shawna. This is my son Shaan." Sia introduces.

"Hello Uncle and Aunti." He greets with a genuine smile.

"Hello son." Shawn greets back.

Shaan then turns to the girl with a smirk. "Hi Shawna." He beams and Shawna tries to act normal.

"Hi." She shortly replies offering him a small glance.

Shaan sits down between Shawna and Sana, the only empty seat. "Your son is very handsome!" Sana compliments sincerely.

"Well, he is a carbon copy of his dad." Sia tells with proudness.

"What do you do son?" Shawn questions with a smile.

"I have studied law but dad is currently preparing me to take over his business." Shaan enlightens.

"That's ambitious! I am sure your parents are very proud of you." Shawn exclaims happy for the young man.

"What do you do Shawna?" Sia asks while putting a hand on her arm.

Shawna is cold sweating for some odd reason. "I am studying medicine." She shares and tries to offer a smile.

"Beauty with brain, that's great." Sia comments and Shawnas eyes widen.

She involuntarily glances at Shaan who smirks and she immediately looks away embarrassed with heat rushing to her cheeks.

Earlier Shawna was talking to one of her school friend. When she was looking for her parents she accidentally bumped into a hard wall, more like chest.

"Aoch." Shawna slightly whimpered with her hand rubbing her forehead where a certain persons jaw connected.

"Sorry!" A deep voice reached her.

"Can't you see where you walk?" She had remarked a bit annoyed.

She looked up to find a young man with the darkest eyes she has ever seen. His eyes were enchanting and had a mysterious edge to it.

"I am really sorry." He sheepishly smiled and was surprised to meet her stunning hazel eyes with specks of gold.

"It's ok." She said barely audible.

Shawna was about to take a step when his words hit her. "Wow, you're beautiful." A mesmerized Shaan bluntly uttered.

Shawna narrowed her eyes at him. "Pardon me?" She coldly queried with a hammering heart.

Shaan snapped out of his trance and bit his tongue. "I mean, your dress is beautiful." He quickly covered.

"Thanks." Shawna politely replied even though she was sure of what she had heard the first time.

She took a step to her left and so did Shaan to accidentally block her way. He took a step to the right just when she did. Shawna closed her eyes and inhaled a deep breath.

She opened them to witness a amused Shaan. "Can you please move to the side so I can walk past you." She spoke expressionless standing frozen to her spot.

Shaan quietly stared at her for a brief moment which didn't go down well with Shawna as her heartbeats accelerated. She looked away from his intense gaze.

"What's your name?" He finally quizzed softly and Shawnas eyes darted up to his.

"Why?" She raised an eyebrow while crossing her arms.

Shaan shrugged. "Just like that." Was his lame of an answer.

Shawna more or less glared at him while debating of what to say next. "Cinderella." She lastly replied with whatever came to her mind first.

"Really?" He smiled amused, she was clearly lying.

"Yes." She shortly replied with fire in her eyes.

"Nice." He managed to say before a familiar voice called from behind the girl in front of him.

"Shawna! There you are!" Catherine, a common friend to them exclaimed breathless and Shawna grimaced. "I was looking for you, oh hey Shaan. How are you?" She exchanged pleasantries when noticing him.

Shaan grinned. "Great, how are you Catherine?" He beamed with his eyes fixed on Shawna who looked everywhere else but him.

Shawna was red as a tomato knowing her cover was blown.

"Great, thanks." Catherine replied and turned to Shawna. "Shawna, Khushi is also here! You haven't met her for ages, right? Come let us go and give her a surprise." She beamed and tugged at her friends arm.

"Sure." Shawna replied revealed and let go of the breath she didn't knew she was holding.

"Khushi, like in Khushi?" Shaan questioned and Catherine nodded with glee, Khushi is coincidently his childhood friend. "I'll join too then." He smiled.

"Of course, come." Catherine said while walking.

"How do you two know each other?" Shaan asked curiously and Shawna kept her lips sealed.

"We studied together when we were younger." Catherine answered while someone's intense gaze kept burning Shawnas skin.

"What do you study now Shawna." He loved how her name felt rolling off the top of his tongue and leaned. "Or do you like Cinderella better?" He whispered close to her ear and his deep voice made her heart skip a beat.

She gave him a sideway glance and caught him smirking. "Medicine." She managed to reply.

"Oh, beauty with brain huh?" He had commented cheekily which made heat rush to her cheeks. The sight made him grin widely.

Shaan was surprised by his own behavior and how easy it was for him to act silly around her. Never has he acted that way around a girl and never has a girl been able to draw his attention after the first encounter itself. She has a different aura and for some odd reason he loved to observe her reactions while he teased.

The silver jubilee celebration starts in full swing with parody performances and couple games arranged by the hosts for the evening. The cake cutting was adorable where the couple fed each other and renewed their wedding vows. Sahir gifted his Sia a new ring which he made her wear in front of everyone to Sias delight. It's truly amazing to see them happy and still so in love. Shaan and Ameera did a great job to color the night with the help of their close friends and relatives.

Shawn, Sana, Sia and Sahir bonded as if being old childhood friends. The both couple had extraordinary journeys and love stories to share. The bond between their children is though another story.

Where there's a spark, there's a story. It has been proven by the previous generation and might be proven by the next.

Whenever Ameera comes face to face with Adam, sparks of hate flies. Whereas Shaans presence turns Shawna crimson as the former can't seem to keep his attention away from a certain Cinderella. Whatever might be said about them it is hard to deny their chemistry.

Well, wonder who's wings are going to be the next target for a certain revenge?
