Hermione's pov:

I had been dating Draco for almost a year, everything was amazing. It was per love, other than his family. But mostly his mother and sister, Draco was adopted when he was young, by the Weasly's. When I was younger the Weasly's liked me, me and Ginny had been best friends, but then I started dating Draco.

I was adopted when I was younger too, she was a single mother with two other girls. There was one older and a younger. The oldest was moving out in a few months and the younger was only nine.

My new mother Jean, had just moved to town, so she hardly knew anyone. And she only wanted girls.

There was only one thing I rejected when I got adopted, my brother was still in the orphanage. Draco and I visited almost every day, and those were our grand plans for today.

"Hello wel- oh your back," we hear as we walk into the orphanage.

"Good morning to you sister Abby," I say in a cheerfully voice.

"The boys in his room," she says in a dull voice.

"We'll bring him back before dinner!" Draco calls as we walk into the back doors.

We ran down the hall trying not to run into anyone. I looked through the small window to see him still sleeping.

"Shh," I whisper to Draco as we walk in. I walk over to his bed while Draco stays in the doorway.

"Wake up!" I scream, throwing the covers off of him.

"Five more minutes sister Abby," he says, reaching for the covers. I look up at Draco in shock.

"Did he just," I whisper in shock walking over to the bedside table.

"'Mione no," he says trying to stop me, but it's too late I grab the cup of water off of the night stand and throw it at Lio (Hermione's little brother).

"Ahh!" he screams, before I put my hand over his mouth.

"Shh the sisters are going to hear us," I tell him.

"What are you doing here?" he yells, trying to dry his face.

"A new ice cream place opened down the street." I told him, he looked less annoyed now.

"Oh... well get out so I can change." he tells us after getting out of bed.

"Aww don't you want me to choose your outfit." I ask in a baby voice.

"Get out," he says with a serious face. I laugh while Draco hands him a towel.

Draco and I walk out into the hall. "He'd want you to choose what he wears," I joke.

"Ya I have much better taste," he says brushing his hands through his hair while looking at me with a stupid face.

"You're right I have horrible taste mostly in boyfriends though." I joke as he gasps dramatically. I go on my tip toes to kiss his as he leans down.

"Eww do you have to share saliva right in front of me?" we hear behind us.

"Yes, now come on everyone's wait for us." I tell him.

"Everyone? Is pansy going to be there," he asks.

"Ya the same pansy that's dating Theo and is seven years older than you." I tell him as we walk down the hall.

Lio hides behind us while we walk into the waiting room.

"Oh just take the boy," sister Abby says, as we walk past her.

We all laugh as we run out the door not before hearing her mumble, "oh please lord just let this year go by faster," making us laugh harder.

Next year Draco and I turn eighteen mean we can adopt Lio and get our own place.

"There they are," we hear Blaise call from a large booth in the back corner.

"Sorry," Draco says as we sit down in the booth, me sitting on him while Lio sits next to Pansy.

After a while we start talking while Theo goes to get the ice cream.

"You know I'm the fastest boy in my age group." Lio says trying to flirt with Pansy.

"So was Blaise," she says while he looks up at Blaise who was trying to bounce one of Dracos hairs that were in his face. There was a bang making us all look to see Lio who hit his head on the table.

We get taken out of the trance of seeing my brother not wanting to turn out like Blaise, single and alone. By the small bell above the door ringing.

In walking Ginny, Harry Potter, Ron, Astoria and a new blond girl that we haven't met yet.

"Who's that?" I ask Draco, pointing to the blond.

"She just moved in across the street," he tells us.

"So on the rich side of town-" I tried to ask before I was interrupted by Blaise.

"Is she dating anyone?" He asks, before all of our heads shoot up to look at him.

"Hey guys what'd I miss?" Theo says walking over to us with the ice cream.

"Blaise has a crush on the new girl," Lio says.

"Ooo go talk to her," Theo says.

"What?! No," Blaise answers.

"Talk to her!" we all chant.

"Fine!" Blaise says shushing us all.

Blaise walks over there after a few minutes he walks back over.

"So how'd it go?" Pansy asks.

"I chickened out and asked to borrow the salt." he told us.

"Where's the salt?" Draco asks.

"Potter told me no then the weasel tried to throw it at me." He told us.

"Don't worry you'll get her next time," Theo told him, putting his arm around him.

"I don't want the next time I want now," he told us, slapping his head on the table.

"How fast was Theo?" Lio asks Pansy changing the subject.

We spent most of the day sitting there and talking till the blond from the other group walked over to us.

"Can I talk to you?" she asks looking at Blaise.

We all go silent looking at Blaise, "umm ya sure." he says jumping out of his seat.

They walk over to a empty booth, after about twenty minutes of talking the get up and start walking over to us, while we try are best to make it look like weren't watching them Theo and Pansy were reading a upside down menu, Draco was petting the fake flowers on the table, Lio was looking at his shoes, and I was eating my ice cream that was no longer there.

"Hey," the blond says. Blaise sits down while she sits next to him.

"You know that plants are not dogs, right?" Blaise asks Draco.

We all sat in silence, till Lio said, "I want to be the fastest runner now." we all looked over to him then back at Blaise.

"So how long have you been in town?" Pansy asks.

"Me and my dad moved in last week this is where he grew up so he wanted to come back." she told us.

We all talked for a while. Her name is Luna Lovegood. She seems really nice and her and Blaise are going out next week. We talked for a few hours or at least till we got kicked out, Draco and I brought Lio back after we got kicked out.

After we took him back we all went to the beach. Luna can surf, so we spent the rest of the day surfing well. Most of us Pansy refuses to learn so she stayed on the beach and watched.

Once it started getting dark we decided we should probably go home. Draco dropped me off at my house, we said goodbye.

I called Draco before I went to bed. We talked for a little before his family told him to hang up. I had agreed to pick him up so we could go to school together tomorrow.
