From secret

Looking good so far. Just a friendly suggestion, but you might want to double check your grammar and I noticed a couple of words missing. Still like it, nonetheless, and I can't wait to read more.

Thanks to this person I went back to the past chapters and realized I had made a bunch of grammar mistakes, I went back and try to fix them as well as try to improve the chapters a little bit, all four have been edited to fix up some of the grammar mistakes I found.

If they are still more Grandma mistakes that I have missed please let me know and I will go back to fix them.

Anyway on to the next chapter.

learning things and comfort part 2

Hiccup had woke up early around the next day at 3:30 a.m.

Hiccup got up and went into the living room to find Olivia sitting on the couch and talking to herself as she was holding something up to her ear.

"Yeah another drone broke again, I'm telling you we have to find out why these drones just keep breaking, talk to you later once I'm there," Olivia said as she took the thing away from her hand and tap her thumb on it.

Olivia looks at hiccup, "why are you up it's only 4:30?"

"I had just woke up after I went to sleep when I had that big meal with Tom," hiccup explain as Olivia smiled.

"Oh yeah Tom told me, you really did like all the new food you ate with him," Olivia said as hiccup went to sit down next door and pick up one of the paintings that were on the table.

"Can I ask you something? Who is the painter who made this of you and Tom, it looks so real in everything," hiccup asked as was still amazed at the paintings he was looking at.

"That's not painting that's a photo," Olivia started as she took the photo from Hiccup, "this is actually one I just took it Tom before you got here."

"A photo? Is that how you call paintings here or another way you do them?" Hiccup ask as he had no idea what she was talking about.

"Here let me show you," Olivia said as she came closer to hiccup and pulled out her phone for them to take a selfie together.

Hiccup was a bit confused because he had no idea what she was holding at first but then it looked like it was some type of glass mirror and then a flash of light came out of it.

Hiccup quickly shut his eyes and stroked his head, "what was that?"

"That's how you take a photo," Olivia said as she show him the picture on her phone that they had just taken the other.

"How is that even possible, what is his invention you have?" Hiccup ask as Olivia started to think and might have figured out something.

"From the way how you've been acting, I'm guessing you have never been around anything electronic devices, maybe I could explain the basics of how it works to you," Olivia said as she started to explain how a phone works.

Hiccup had many questions and want to know when were they first invented, Olivia started to give him a history lesson about how phones were invented.

Hiccup was starting to get it as Olivia start to realize he really wasn't around anything that was electronic devices but was a fast learner if she first start explaining how they were very first made back in the beginning.

By the time she was done explaining that about how phones were invented and how they are now today she look at the clock on our phone and notice it was, 7:48 a.m.

"I got to ask you though how is that very big phone on the was made?" Hiccup ask as Olivia started laughing.

"Well it is similar to a phone when it comes to some things but it's definitely not a phone, this is a TV set, here let me show you how it works," Olivia grab a long black stick that was covered with buttons and she pressed one and a moving picture appeared on the TV set.

But that was a complete big mistake as it was left on a horror movie and hiccups show the most horrifying thing and quickly scream and cover his eyes.

Olivia quickly turns it off and hugs hiccup, "hiccup, it's all right it was just a movie."

Tom jumped out of his room I see quickly look around the room and notice hiccup was scared.

"Mom, did something happen?" Tom asked as he was worried when he heard screaming.

"It's all right Tom, just turn on the TV and he saw a horror movie," Olivia explain as tom came over to help hiccup calm down.

After just a couple of minutes, hiccup had calmed down, and put his hands down from his face, and look around to see the image was gone.

"What was that on the TV? Do you have things sealed away in there?" Hiccup asks them.

"No, but we are not going to show you that again, I think enough electronics for the day how about we get you some breakfast to eat," Olivia said as they all went to the table and had some cereal together with a glass of orange juice.

Hiccup found the food to be pretty good as they were done Olivia took the bulls and cups to the sink and wash them as hiccup came over and watch.

"How was the water coming out of that?" Hiccup ask as he wanted to know.

Olivia looks at him and start to explain about the pipes and the faucets, "so that's what works? We Never had that from where I'm from."

"Hiccup do you know where you're from and do you have any family?" Olivia ask as she wanted to know so he could help him.

Hiccup looked down and was depressed but decide to talk about it but didn't mention the name of the place, "I was from an island with the rest of my tribe but my father disown me and send me away, he pretty much banished me from my old home."

"Why would he disown you?" Olivia ask as hiccup wouldn't bring up toothless but knew what else to say.

"I was never the son he wanted to have, I was always a disappointment and embarrassment to him, everyone call me the run to the litter or fishbones because I was weak and useless," hiccup explain to her.

"Why would they think that way about you?" Olivia asks, "no child's useless or deserves to be treated like a runt?"

"Well the rest of my family even did, my mother died after a few months I was born and many people have to blind me for it and my cousin brings it up and laughs at me for it," hiccup explain and was looking more depressed by telling Olivia this.

Olivia had to ask one more question and that was it, "hiccup do you have any other family members that would take you in if we were able to find them? Because that's true we will find them for you," Olivia told him as she wanted to help him.

"The only family matters I had was my father who disowned me and my uncle and cousin but they live on the island and I can't go back there because I was forced off the island besides neither of them cared about me either," hiccup explain as Olivia felt sorry for hiccup.

Tears were actually starting to come down on hiccup face as reminded of his past made him very upset, "Sorry I can't keep asking more questions right now."

Hiccup ran back to his room as Olivia could tell he really was his own and he must have been hurt a lot, why would they treat them so badly she wanted to know but then again she did get her answer.

With hiccup

Hiccup was laying on the bed crying as it's been over an hour now.

Hiccup heard the door open and it was Olivia, "hiccup are you okay?"

"No, not really, I'm sorry for crying I know I'm not supposed to cry but..." Hiccup stop talking as he felt Olivia giving him a hug.

"It's all right to cry, I'm sorry for asking those questions, I was only asking you those questions because I was trying to find out where you were so we could help you get home," Olivia explain.

"It's all right but I can never go back home and that place really was never my home, back there I was nothing more about blacksmith princess, and I just never really belong there because I was different and everyone hated me for it," hiccup explain as Olivia gave him a small rag the dry his tears.

"It's all right, there is only one more question why were you falling from the sky on that day? Do you remember how that happened, I won't force you to tell me if you're not ready to explain but..." Olivia was cut off by hiccup.

"That's the point I don't even know why I'm even here, one moment I thought I was going to die, and then I somehow ended up here and I don't even know why, everything here makes absolutely no sense to me, all this electricity plumbing photographs even the food here is different, especially all of you all your hairstyles and clothes in the way how you talk it's on the way how mine people did," hiccup told her as he was so confused and just couldn't understand why was he even here to begin with still.

Olivia hug him tightly, "it's all right, we were all just scared when we saw you falling from the sky, none of us know what happened but if you can't remember that's fine, and I promise you we keep you safe and comfortable here, you don't have to worry about anything, I promise you that."

Hiccup felt better as she let him go, "thank you, Olivia that means a lot."

"You're welcome, now come on, let's get you clean up you haven't had a shower in weeks," Olivia said as hiccup was now confused again but Olivia could tell the look on his face.

"Don't worry about it hiccup, I'll help you knowing how everything in the house works," Olivia said as she took to the bathroom and explain how the shower works along with the rest of the things in the bathroom.

One's hiccup had to understand it, he was left alone to get himself washed up and it honestly felt good to have the water coming down on him like the rain.

After a good ten long minutes, he got himself out and turn off the water and drive himself off.

He noticed next to the sink there was some clothes with a note on top of it that says.

from Olivia, I got some clothes for you here as well since you said some of these clothes are wholly different and new to you I can explain on this note how it you put them on.

Hiccup continue to keep reading as he looked at the clothes and notice there was a pair of striped green boxers shorts he put those on first and then he got his black shirt that had gray ax on it, blue jeans that had rips in them, a belt with a pocket change with, a pair of white socks, black sneakers, a red hoodie that he left open and not zip it up and finally a pair of goggles that he put over his head.

Hiccup look in the mirror and he found himself pretty cool looking as the clothes actually really felt good on him and he liked a new look.

Hiccup came out of the bathroom feeling fresh and great as both Tom and Olivia were watching TV together.

Hiccup was a little bit nervous about the TV but he came slowly and saw it and it was just a guy making a bunch of jokes.

Hiccup didn't understand the jokes but wasn't scared by them, he came down to sit with them and watch it.

"How does this even work?" Hiccup ask as Olivia smiled, "hiccup, we have a lot to teach you."
