We had a horrible argument over the dinner table today. It was about the LGBTQ+ community. This was my mom's main point.

"I dont' see why everyone's making such a big deal about it, we should just treat them the same we treat everyone else!!!1!!!"

Well yes, in theory, that's nice, but it's not happening! So you reallllllllly need to shut up about that, and start facing the fact that there are just too many people who don't have that mindset, and they are the reasons everyone's making such a big deal! Because it fucking matters, okay Mom? I love you and all, but GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE BELLA SWAN "WE SHOULD ALL EAT CAKE AND BE HAPPY" MINDSET.
