HEY GUYS, ITS YA  BO I, WORM OFF THE STRING, WHAT CRIMES WILL WE COMMIT. It turns out that the worm off the string will commit the crime of making a Hermittpad Recap. How treacherous.

Okay so basically, we have seen a few comments asking for a persona of the Hermittpad Recap. So here we have the persona:

You don't have to add the gun, but try to keep the cowboy hat on :)). Their name is PadCap. The combination of Hermittpad and Recap :))))

And this is Hermes, the Hermittpad Archives account Persona. They are the child of PadCap. Hermes is a combination of Hermittpad and Archives somehow. :))) We love them.

(Fandome and Smutler made these on Picrew randomly instead of working. Amazing job guys, 10/10.)

This is Bettercap, the BestHermittpadRecap persona :))). And Smutler totally didn't make a forbidden lover ship out of it. :))) And fanart.

Worm on the string personas aside, Azael and Ninja started working on a Hermittpad Wiki, and Smutler instantly started working on their own out of spite. Then later, Smutler joined Azael and Ninja because they got lazy.

You can add your own user pages, add stuff about roleplay storylines- etc. We already have a few things set up, and we would be delighted if you could add more to it to make it grow!

Also, we have a second serverwide art competition going on in the Hermittpad Discord! The art will be featured as the new logo for the server, so make sure to check it out if you want your art to be featured as the server's cover image! There's still lots of time to join, the deadline is August 23rd, 12 PM EST. Also feel free to DM us for the link to the server haha #shameless-self-advertising alert but we love getting new members :D

Now that we've got our most important announcements out of the way, (seriously, PadCap and Hermes are the most important things in the universe uwu we stan), it's time for some well-deserved follower and book milestones!

We've got Ella_theAngel with 50 followers, radiant-kitty with a stack of followers, Aria_Cinabun and JerAndYmeAreGriDs with 100 followers each, One_Pan_Ban with 150 followers, FandomsUnite05 with 200, Decaying-Blossoms with 250! Also, the Weirdo Trio™ has all hit a follower milestone this week: ShinyTheWeirdo got 80, thathermitweirdo hit 300, and weirdo_nojudgies hit a massive 400! Along with that, RexCorvus09 also hit 400!! Good job to y'all!

Wow- okay guys that's a lot of followers like damn tell me your secrets- Next up of course is the read counts! FandomsUnite05 got 50k reads on her oneshots, Milo_Morningstar got 15k, _Kalopsiac-Dreams_'s oneshots book got 1k reads, bamalexis22 got 35k, ShinyTheWeirdo got 200 reads, and JerAndYmeAreGriDs got 7k! Along with that, FrozenMoonbeams' book "Child at the End of the Game" hit 1k reads! (add more as we get more in)

VukoviCantEven earned a singular coin, looks like somebody is getting mega richhh let's goooo! B) But for real, leave some coin for the rest of us-

CuteCatKid told us about Wattpad's glorious Fast Food fandom, specifically the Wendys account- and the best part? They ACTUALLY write books- and they're amazing! Seriously, go give Wendys or McDonaldsCanada a follow for free virtual chicken nuggets!

*note- they might not actually give you free chicken nuggets, but they deserve a follow anyways because REASONS-

(If I don't get chicken nuggets right fucking now I am going to overthrow Mcdonalds -Smutler)

radiant-kitty wrote an adorable short and fluffy Stresskall oneshot called Stargazing, it's the cutest thing ever and I love it with my whole heart! uwuwuwuwuwuwu

KeichiAkechi24 drew some awesome angsty fanart of Bdubs- how the heck is everyone in our community so good at art? Like, please??? Save some talent for the rest of us??? Aksjfdbghbd anyways I love the piece so much, the colours and the shading are just yes-

FrozenMoonbeams started a new oneshot book this week, starting with an awesome Area 77 fic! We can't wait to see what comes next from you! :D

OdalRune314 wrote a cute hurt/comfort oneshot where Zed's having a bad day and Impulse comes to cheer him up, and I gotta say, reading this made my day a lot better too! :D

Seanathan26 wrote some epic Renskall flangst! It's super well written and cute as heck, and Ren being scared of thunderstorms just always gets me! How is this so adorable? Make sure to check it out, and give some love to the talented new writers in the community!

HermitcraftSnake came up with a good trick for figuring out what to draw and practicing poses- all you need to do is go to the website thispersondoesnotexist.com, and refresh the page until you get a model you want to sketch!

Mag1c_Mak3r posted an announcement saying not to drink espresso before bed. Bold of you to assume anyone in this community goes to bed anyways. Haha hermittpadders don't need a sleep schedule, sleep is for the weak, pleasehelpus-

Robot_Grian posted the announcement "Hermittpad, but a murder mystery," and honestly, I agree. Suddenly I need this AU in my life, this sounds epic what the heck- Imagine the chaos. Imagine the anarchy.

AlterSuxLots changed their name to AlterSukzDic for a week, making it so Smutler is forced to give them a shoutout in the recap. Thank you for your service Alter.
