Jimin

And then there were two.

The dorm felt empty. It had for the past few days, with there being only the black jackets, but it was a somber night. It was the final week in Hell's Kitchen, though it was more like a handful of nights, if even that. They had one more challenge, and then the final dinner service. After that, nothing. They'd be done. Either Jimin or Y/n would win.

Jimin sat at the kitchen table, and Y/n slid a plate of grilled cheese along with a glass of ice water in front of him. She sat across from him with her own plate and water, and she raised her brows.

"Something on your mind?"

"The dorm. It feels so empty, that's all."

"We've come a long way from Markus and Louis arguing, huh?" Y/n reached across the table and held his hand. "But we've earned this. No matter who wins, we've gotten this far. That's what matters most, right?"

"Yeah, you're right. It's just sad. All the arguing and drama wasn't fun, but, I don't know, I miss it. We were all chefs, y'know? We had our issues, but we came here with a common love for cooking. I miss those late nights on the balcony. Or our hot tub talks."

Y/n chuckled. "Well, when one of us wins that giant salary, we can have more than one hot tub."

That much was true. The overall salary was 250k. In USD, of course. That was for one person. If Y/n got a fancy chef job and made even a quarter of that, combined they could live like kings and queens.

"Well, you know hot tubs are my favorite," Jimin said with a smirk, and she snorted.

The pair ate in peace after that. Y/n finished before Jimin, and when Jimin finished, he took care of all the dishes and washed his hands. She bumped into him and scooted him over so she could do the same. He watched her, and he rested his hand on her waist almost on instinct, coming down to kiss the back of her neck.

"God, you're beautiful," he muttered in between kisses, moving her hair aside and sucking in her scent. She smelled like soap from the shower she had taken not long ago.

"Jimin, don't say that, I'm sensitive. I'll start giggling like a high schooler."

He chuckled and kissed up to her jaw, tightening his hold on her. "You're so fucking beautiful."

Y/n did, in fact, giggle, and he snorted at her antics. She turned and placed her wet hands on his shoulders. "I just made a teehee sound. Happy?"

"Mm. No." Jimin kissed her, closing his eyes and feeling the little vibration from her soft squeak thanks to the contact. He pulled back and kept his smirk. "Now I am."

"Ugh. That was cheesy."

"I know."

Jimin buried his face in her neck and went back to leaving soft kisses there, not caring about the cameras. They should be off that time of night. Sometimes they'd turn them on for random b-roll sleeping shots, but they warned participants what nights those shots would come.

"Jimin, that tickles," Y/n said with a snicker.

Jimin brought his head up and brushed his nose by hers. "Sorry."

"Don't be. It was hot."

"Everything I do is hot."

Y/n sighed. "Men."

"They suck, but at least I'm cute, right?"

Y/n grinned. "Okay, yeah, you are."

Jimin grabbed her hand and pulled her away from the kitchen, going into what used to be the men's bedroom, and he plopped down on his soft bed. All things considered, the dorm quality wasn't bad. They could have skimped out and no one would have questioned it, but they gave soft mattresses at least.

"Come here. Let me hold you," he said, and she snorted but plopped in bed with him. She snuggled up on his chest, and he played with her hair and kissed the top of her head. "Can I be cheesy for a moment?"

"You always are. Why stop now?"

He grinned. "Fair point." Jimin kissed her head again. He couldn't resist. With no one else in the dorm and the cameras off for the night, he didn't have to worry about coming off as over-the-top or cringey. He could just appreciate his woman in peace. "Okay, here it goes: even if I end up winning, the most important win I got from this was you."

"Wow, that was damn cheesy." Y/n laughed and peeked up at him. "But thank you. I hope you know I think the same."

"Yeah. A job is a job. A person is a lifetime." Jimin kissed her nose and then all over her face because he couldn't resist. He kept his eye smile when he pulled back. "Sorry if I'm being a bit... y'know, much. I know we just started dating."

"Nonsense. We've survived Hell's Kitchen together. That's the equivalent of knowing each other for ten years."

Jimin laughed. "Well, I can't argue with that. Pretty, hard-working, and smart? My mom's gonna love you."

"Everyone loves me."

"That's the right attitude. That's my girl."

Jimin closed his eyes and kept cuddling with her. It had been ages since he had held anyone so close, and the feeling of her warmth and smell of Dove soap against her skin had his brain and skin tingling. He rubbed her back through her shirt and buried his face against her neck, and maybe he peppered in some kisses here and there.

"Don't say that, I'll giggle," Y/n said, and he smirked... again.

"Hm? Which part?"

"'That's my girl.' Sheesh. Makes me wanna giggle and squeal like a One Direction fan."

Jimin pulled away to quirk a brow. "Are you a One Direction fan?"

"Maybe."

Jimin chuckled and gave her a quick kiss, unable to resist. He then went back to rubbing circles into her back. "Cute."

"Ugh, don't praise me, it'll make me want to give you babies."

"You say that a lot."

"Yeah, cause you're hot."

Y/n grinned, and Jimin returned the expression. Then, Y/n kissed him, and he sighed and closed his eyes into it, returning it without a second's delay. He ended up shifting so he was on top of her with his body weight pressing on hers. There was never any tongue involved (Jimin was a nervous bean and didn't want to overstep), but the kiss lasted longer than all their previous ones, and by the end of it, he was breathless with messy hair due to how hard Y/n had been gripping it.

"Damn," she said with wide eyes. "Wanna make babies?"

"Y/n!"

She burst out laughing, and he did the same. That was how their entire relationship was going to go, wasn't it? He had no complaints—it was what made their lives so fun, after all.

"Shouldn't I take you to dinner first?" Jimin asked once they dialed down, and Y/n made a pfft sound.

"You did."

"That was lunch."

"Lunch doesn't have that high of price tags. That was just dinner with a fancy title." Y/n huffed, and Jimin snorted at her expressions. She then grinned at him again. "So, what do you say? Smash smash, bang bang? You and me?"

"Y/n, are you capable of asking for sex by actually using the word?"

"Nope. If I say the word, I'll get shy and overthink it and then I might cry."

Jimin pecked her lips and snickered. "Well, at least you're always honest."

"Honesty is key." Y/n's smile went down a bit, no longer reaching her eyes. "Why don't we make that a pact? We're always honest, no matter what."

"I hate liars, so yeah, works for me." Jimin kissed her forehead. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I just really like you, so I don't want to mess this up."

"Babe, I would not mind if you messed me up."

Y/n stared at him for a long moment, and then, she grabbed him by the collar and brought their lips together again. Jimin let out a muffled grunt from the force of the contact, but he was quick to adjust. Again, a longer kiss than anything they had had before, and by the end, Jimin didn't fully back away; instead, he remained right above her lips with their breath hitting each other's.

"So much for being sad, huh?" he asked in a mutter, and she squeezed his shoulder.

"Yeah. Let's not do sadness. Let's do each other instead."

"Well, if you insist."

Jimin then went nomnomnom with her lips, and it was safe to say it escalated. A lot. Thank goodness the cameras were off, otherwise America would be getting more than one show that season. Though, at the end of the day, Jimin was in his happy place. He got to kiss (and maybe more than kiss) Y/n, and the finals were about to begin. But regardless of finals, he meant what he had said before.

Meeting Y/n was the best thing to come out of Hell's Kitchen.
