*after school*

When the last bell rang I rushed to my locker to meet Jace and Jack. I put my books in my locker and turn around to be faced with the twins. I jump a little in surprise and they just laugh.

"Rude. Okay we'll go pick up Ryley and Jack can take her to your house while Jace and I get my parents. Don't mention to your dad what's happening." I tell them. They nod and we start walking to Ryley's school. Once we get there I see Ryley standing outside, even though she doesn't get out for another 10 minutes.

"Ryley what the hell are you doing outside? Are you cutting class already?" I ask her.

"No I'm not cutting class, gosh. I got sent to the office for punching a kid but I kinda just came out here." She tells me quietly.

"Why did you punch a kid?" I ask her furiously.

"He was being annoying." She says shuffling a bit. The tips of her ears turned pink, which is a tell she has for when she's hiding something.

"Your ears are pink, what are you hiding."

"Ok fine. He saw my dagger and put together that I'm a hunter and said that I wasn't a very good one if I go to public school and haven't killed any wolves so I punched him and told him to fuck off." She said quickly and quietly.

"Just because you can punch and swear doesn't mean you should. I'll go talk to your principal while you and Jack go to their pack house. Do whatever she says." She nods slightly and follows behind Jack, her head hanging in shame. I roll my eyes, she's not ashamed at all.

"I'll be back in a minute Jace." I walk inside the school and to the front office. "Hi I need to talk to the principle. It's about my sister." The man in the front tells me where to go and I follow his directions.

I find myself in front of a door with the principals name on it. I knock lightly and here a voice speak up telling me to come in. I open the door and walk into the small room.

"Hello how can I help you miss?" The woman at the desk asks me.

"I just need to clear some things about my sister, Ryley Bentley."

"Ah yes, the punching incident. I'm only giving her a weeks detention because the boy involved said he didn't want to make it a big deal. He also said he was teasing her so I'm giving him 3 days detention."

"Well that's actually great, I thought it was going to be worse. I should get going, thank you and have a nice day." She responds with a 'your welcome' and I leave the school quickly.

"Ready to do this thing?" Jace asks me as I walk over to him.

"As ready as I'll ever be." He smiles and kisses my cheek. I roll my eyes at him, because blahh, and intertwine my hand with his. I start skipping away pulling him with me.

"We're off to see the parents! The wonderful parents of Lacey!" Jace yells at the top of my lungs. I stop skipping.

"We're done here." He pouts at me while I just drag him alongside me the rest of the way to my house.

Getting longer, aye? Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I'm really bad with keeping to schedules, but I'm getting better.
