The power is back on at mine. Yay! Here's the new chapter of Heartbreak.

The waitress returns with our food and she places the food in front of the football players.

Two more waitresses come out to help with our food.

I turn to the waitress that places my meal on the table. "Thank you,"

She smiles. "You're welcome."

The girl leave the table. I watch as a couple of the girls lower their shirts and pull there skirts up to show more skin.

I roll my eyes. "Don't you get sick of this happening all the time?"

Maddox shakes his head. "Nah, I used to like it. Now I have no reason to be interested I've got you." He leans into kiss me.

I put my hand on his face. "I don't want to kiss you, Maddox. I told you that I want to take things slow."

He sighs. "Fine, you won't last fighting your feelings for me."

I laugh. "Do you want a bet Mr Colt?"

He smirks. "You're on. How about a week that we can't touch each other and the loser has to be the slave of the winner?"

"Deal," Maddox and I shake hands. "When do we start?"

This man is going down.

"After dinner. For now, I can do this." He kisses one cheek. "This," he kisses the other one. "And this," he kisses me and I allow him to slip his tongue into my mouth.

Our mouth move in sync.

He pulls away. "This is going to be harder than I originally thought."

I smirk. "You can start being my slave right now if that's what you want, Mr Colt."

He shakes his head. "That's not going to happen, baby."

After dinner, I move away from Maddox. He frowns. "Aw, Baby. Are you afraid of losing is that why you're standing away from?"

"No, it's you I don't trust."

Maddox stands next to me as we make our way to the bar around the corner from the Bar 'n' grill.

A DJ is setting up as we enter the building. Maddox shakes hands with the guy. "Adam, I want you to meet my girlfriend, Sam."

I shake his hand. "It's nice to meet you."

He smiles. "You too."

"What kind of music do you have on there?"

"I have a lot of things and I've put my own twist on the songs."

I nod. "Do you have 'You're the one I want?"

"Yes, a lot of girl still request that song after all these years."

"That's great. Can you put something on? I want to show your friend what he can't touch for a week." I wink at Adam.

Adam turns the music on and I move to the beat of the music. Peyton and Maddie move to the beat until they are on the stage dancing with me.

The football guys watch us.

I stand in the middle. Maddie stands in front of me and Peyton behind me. We move together. Caleb and Vincent groan.

Maddox reaches out to me. He looks into my blue eyes and then he moves his hands away and shakes his head. "Damn, you're like a siren."

I laugh.

I whisper. "Do you want to get a drink?"

The girl nod. We walk pass the football player and one of the guys grabs my arse. I slap him across the face. "You need to show respect when it comes to woman."

"What are you going to do about it darling?"

"I'll get my boyfriend to beat you up."

They laugh.

"Darling, Maddox wouldn't hurt any of us. We've played with him since we were eighteen and we haven't seen him beat anyone up before."

I pull him closer to me. "I'm pregnant. Do you think he'd still let you to touch me knowing that?"

Maddox frowns at the guy on the team. "What did you to her?"

The guys avoid his gaze and I take that moment to move to the bar. A hand grabs my arm.

Huh! That was easy.

"Guess who my slave is?" I point at him. "You! You! You!"

He rolls his eyes. "You cheated! You got my teammates to help you win the bet."

The guys turn their attention to us.

I laugh. "I didn't do that. But, it worked out perfectly. What do I want my slave to do first?" I tap my chin. "I want you to take me back to your place."

He smiles. "I knew you couldn't resist me," Maddox take my hand and he pulls me through the crowd.

We stand out the front and a limo pulls in front of the club. The driver opens the door and we enter the car.

Maddox turns to me. "Do you want anything to drink?"

I look at the fridge and pulls out a bottle of water. "Thanks,"

He closes the fridge. "Are you going to move here or you going to stay in Santa Cruz?"

I shrug. "I don't have a clue. I was hoping that you could help me make a decision weather you want me to stay her or you want..." I rub my belly. "... us gone?"

He shakes his head. "I don't want you and our child to leave me. I want to help you decorate the baby's room and help raise our child if you will let me?"

"Maddox, I'm going to give you a chance. I don't want you to listen to everyone before I get my say. Our families tore us apart with their lies. The ones you believed."

"I will believe everything you say from her on out. Please, just give me another chance for the baby?"

"Everything I do is for our baby. If you hurt me I'll be gone and you won't be able to find me. Do you understand?"

He nods. "Yes, Madame."

The limo stops and the door opens.

Maddox and I step out.  He holds my hand as we enter a building with a security guard by the door.

Why does this guy have to be by the door?

Maddox hits the lift button and we wait for it to take us up.

The door dings and we step inside. Maddox hits his floor number door closes. He pins me to the wall and kisses my neck.

I start to moan. "I told you, you couldn't resist this."

He sucks on my neck.

I get lost in the sucking and then the lift stops and the lights black out.

Maddox picks up the phone and it doesn't work.

Stupid lift.

I kick the metal part of it and my foot starts to ache.

Maddox pulls his jacket off and sits on the ground.

I sit on his lap and he places his hands on my bell. "How you holding up?"

"I'm hot, Mad."

An hour later...

The lift door is opened by the fire department a guy slips through the door. Maddox and he help me up. Two Firefighter take my hand and they lift me up. I slip through the door and my legs feel like jelly and I can't get them to stop shaking.

Maddox walks over to me and pulls me into his arms. "We have two more flights to go up before we get to my place."

"I can't move anymore, Maddox."

He lifts me bridal style and carries me to his place. He starts to breath heavy as he get to the door closes to his condo.
