Avni frustratingly sat on the bed and palming her face thought how to destroy Neil khanna's life.. she took deep breath and recalled the moments of them when they are dating in past... she then recalled how he left her on their engagement day... she opens her eyes up and smirks as she knew what exactly to do which will destroy and he will get same betrayal...

Avni picks her phone up and made few calls up.. as she finished with the calls she smirks stood up.. she moves to cupboard and took red colour dress out.

She made her way to washroom.. an hour later avni was ready getting ready for the party.. her main goal wasn't the party but destroying someone's life..

Avni took her clutch and left the room. She knocks reyansh room.. reyansh within a second opens the door and with his widen eyes stares avni...

He shook his head as he heard avni clearing throat.

Reyansh: oh my... someone definitely is going to fall you baby...

Avni shrugged her shoulder and pushing reyansh by his shoulder comes inside the room.

Avni : why aren't you ready rey?

Reyansh: I'm just confuse what wear.. help me out please..

Avni shook her head and looks at the clothes which was scattered on the bed.. she sighs and picks pair of jeans and white shirt for him. She passed him the clothes and gave him look..

Avni: go and get ready....

Reyansh bowing his head down at avni went to change whereas avni chuckles at his action..

Neil in his apartment was sitting on the couch  remembering his birthday with his loved ones... it was been drastically changed past years since he has ever seen with his loved ones... his one mistake changed everything...

A tear escaped down his cheeks as he remembered those happy days with his family.... He palming his face sobbed little bit but after a minute composing himself walks to his room...

He sat on the bed and pulling the side drawer took a family picture out. He caressed the photo... a tear escaped down his cheeks making it fall on the photo...

Neil : I miss you all lot.... I wish that day didn't existed... I miss you mom... dad.. Bebe.. baby... I miss you all... I wish I could go back in past and didn't walk out from there.... My one mistake not destroyed Avni's life but ours too....

He spoke looking at his family which was taken during when avni was living with Khanna family... Neil's phone rang breaking his moments... he glanced at the phone which ringing on the couch..,

He kept the photo frame back in the drawer and walking to couch heard his phone still ringing... he sighs seeing the caller id..

Neil picks the call up..

Neil : hello!

Caller : Neil where are you? Everyone is waiting for you... party will be starting soon...

Neil : Juhi I can't come..... don't force me...

Juhi : forcing you is better than asking you politely... I don't my hard work go in waste... don't humiliate me in front of your employees and guests Neil... just attend the party... I don't get paid for doing this for you...

Neil : fine... I'll be there...

Neil threw his phone on the couch and moving to his closets... took a pair of jeans and shirt... he then in the room itself got changed....

He then moves to washroom to wash his face... he splashed cold water on his face and wipes his face with a towel..

Neil locking his apartment and sitting in a car drove to his office... he drove the car in speed..

He reached office less than 30 minutes... he parks the car and getting elevator pressed the top floor button of his office..

He comes out of the elevator and his ears was blasted with loud music and people gossiping... he sighs and rolling his eyes made his way and noticed Juhi parents there already...

Neil made his way to them and with his fake smile greeted them... Ashish hugged Neil..

Ashish : happy birthday Neil..

Neil : thanks...

Aasha also wished Neil to which Neil with his fake smile thanked her too. Juhi comes there and hugs her parents...

Juhi : mom.. dad.. you made it.. thank you for coming..

Aasha : how could we not come Juhi? Neil is going to be our son-in- law.. we had to come...

Neil rolls his eyes at them and looks around the hall.... He didn't notice her which assumed that she won't be coming... his heart didn't break knowing she won't coming...

Neil excusing himself from Juhi and her parents went to meet his clients...

Neil was talking to one of his client when he starts hearing whisper of girls behind them...

'Wow! They look so cute together'

' they are perfect for each other'

' look at her how she laughed as he whispered something to her'

' I wish I get someone like him'

Neil curiously turns behind him and saw the  girls gaze at the entrance... he also turns his gaze at the entrance and saw them together..... he simple stares them..... his eyes was locked at their entwined arms... his eyes didn't showed any pain but his heart was burden with the pain...

Neil glancing at them last time diverted his gaze and excusing himself walks out of the hall...

He moves away from the hall and the people... he shoved his hand in his pocket and stares at the sky...

Neil : what should I do? Should I let her go? She is happy with him...... why is it so hard to believe she has someone.... How can I forget her and let her move on? How can I?

He mumbled to himself staring at the sky...

Neil : I shouldn't be selfish.... Maybe she wasn't mine... she belongs to him... and I would let her  go if she isn't mine.... She should move on from me..... she doesn't deserve me.... How can someone love selfish and greedy guy like me... it's best for her to move on....

Neil wiping his tears off and closing his eyes remembered his promise to her... those promise was broken by himself... he has no regret because he knows she found someone better than him...

Neil opens his eyes as he felt someone near him... he turns back and saw reyansh...

Neil : what are you doing here?

Reyansh: I was invited here bro... I can roam around freely... shouldn't I be asking you the same question? What are you doing here? Leaving your girlfriend and birthday party alone?

Neil : mind your own business...

Reyansh: that's what I am doing...

Neil glares him..

Reyansh: we never got chance to introduce ourselves... I'm reyansh.... Avni's.........

Neil : I don't care who you are....

Neil walks back to the hall leaving reyansh confuse...

Neil walks back to the hall and everyone still talking and some people dancing.... He also noticed how avni was uncomfortable around Juhi parents.... Before he could go there and comfort her reyansh walked past him and hugged her....

A flashes of hurt passed his body... Neil looked at them before moving to Juhi...

Neil: how long do I have to stay?

Juhi : can't you keep your mouth shut? This is party not a meeting.... People are enjoying...

Neil : you better lower voice down girl...

Juhi : you can't make me...

Neil stands in the corner with a drink in his hand... he watched everyone enjoying the party expect him... sudden lights were turned off making people scream....

Juhi : what the help happened to the light?

A voice stopped everyone from moving... the lights came back and everyone's gaze turns on stage where avni was standing with a mike... everyone got confused seeing her there including reyansh...

Avni : hello everyone....I know I'm being spoil sport ruining someone's birthday party but should I do... but hey this is not called ruining the party.... In fact I have small gift for the birthday boy.......

Avni then pressed the button of the remote which she holding... the lights went off again.,, everyone gaze went on the screen which was behind of avni... Avni stood at the side and her eyes was fixed with Neil's who was shocked seeing the screen....

The screen played every moments of Avni's and his... Neil's eyes was filled with fresh tears but in the dark no one could see it... Juhi and her parents threw disgust look to avni who was smirking seeing Neil's action....

The video stopped and the lights was turned back on... everyone was shocked to found out about avni and Neil... gossip echoed in the hall... avni stood back in the middle...

Avni : can I have your attention back please? This small gift you birthday boy.....

Avni walks to Neil whose head lowering down to his feet trying to hide his tears everyone....

Avni stood in front of him....

Avni : every pain you gave me... you will
Pay for it Neil Khanna... I haven't forgotten anything from that day.... I hate you.... I will always hate you..... I hate you so much that presence suffocates me.... I wish we never met again.... All the promises we made was just false..... someone was right how stupid I was to fall in love with someone like you.... You're just selfish, arrogant business man.... You don't have a heart..... I hate you to the core.... I regret loving you....

Her words broke him but his head was still down... he was ashamed to lift his gaze and face her.... Avni took another step and moving close to his ears whispered something making his eyes widen....

Avni : I'll give you the same pain that you give me Neil khanna... I wish to see your death very soon....

Avni moves back and watched his head snapping to her.... Their eyes met for a second but before she could his eyes he immediately looks down and whispered something which she couldn't hear...
