Chapter XLIX
JIMIN'S POV
"Welcome home," I told Mina, but she seemed mad. "I fixed your bed already and I prepared some food for you--"
"I'm not hungry." She entered and passed by me. She put her luggage aside and looked back at me. "What the fuck are you doing here?" Her tone sounds like she's not happy to see me here. She sounded like she still have some hatred because of me, but that's why I'm here. I want to be in good terms with her.
Even though our marriage is sure already, I will still court her. I'll start courting her today and I don't care how hard it could be.
"Today's our first day, okay?" I stepped forward and cupped her face. She looked at me with her pair of fiercest eyes. "I missed you." She held my hands and threw it away from her face.
"I don't." She said and turned her back on me. "Go away. I don't need you."
"Call me whenever you need something, alright? Good night..." I walked towards the door and held the doorknob. I smiled at her figure before going. "...Mrs. Park."

I woke up early; so early that Tiffany noona and Mina aren't awake yet, so I decided to make some breakfast for them. If I'm going to make myself look good in front of Mina's eyes, I think I have to start by doing something good for her.
I'm not good at cooking and I don't know how to cook food with these unfamiliar ingredients in their kitchen, so I decided to go to a convenience store instead. I was about to buy some ingredients that would make a wonderful Korean breakfast, but I decided that buying these foods sold here is easier. I have three paperbags in my hands and they are all full. Maybe I bought too much, but it's better than to make them starve.
When I came back to the apartment, Tiffany noona was already awake. "Ah, Jimin-ah," she called.
"Good morning," I made a slight bow and placed the food by the center table. "I bought some breakfast."
"Eh? You should've just bought something. You could've saved some money." I chuckled and scratched my nape. "I'll help you with that. You must wake up Mina since she still needs to go to work."
"I might get beaten up," we laughed, but I headed still to Mina's door. "But that's good enough." I knocked on her door before opening it. When I saw her, she's still lying on bed with an eye mask on.
This is one of the times that makes me miss her even more. I stepped in slowly with my light feet, so she won't hear me. I leaned towards her and neared my face on his, wanting to wake her up with a soft voice. I held her eye mask and was about to lift it up when she aggressively held my wrist which certainly startled me.
"Good morning," I greeted with a cheerful voice.
"What the fuck is good about morning if I see your face this early?" She asked through gritted teeth, but it just made me laugh. I don't know why but even her most aggressive actions make me chuckle. Maybe because I've missed her so much and I can guarantee that she's mine.
"Well, Mrs. Park, you still have your eye mask on." I stood up straight and watched her take off her eye mask. She seemed like a princess even if she's doing something so common and simple. Well, once we get married, I will make sure that she will be treated like a queen. My queen.
"Maybe if I'm in Bird Box, I'd be dead by now."
"Because of my killer looks?" I winkes at her, but she rolled her eyes. I seriously wonder if she doesn't get tired of rolling her eyes. She's rolling them every time we talk and I think that's just nauseous. Or I think she might have a disease because of rolling her eyes too much?
"Ugh, you're senseless to talk with." She stood up from her bed and passed by me.
"Mrs. Park, no good morning kisses?" She looked back at me and gave me the prettiest middle finger.
"Want me to put a ring on that?" I smirked, but she glared at me and walked away from me. I looked at her bed and decided to fix it while she prepares for this morning.

Mina was wearing a black trench coat and a pair of retro pants. She wore a simple white shirt inside and had her hair ponytailed. She brought a hand bag with her and I guess she's going to work now.
"Mrs. Park!" I called her and I heard Tiffany noona chuckle because of my cleverness.
"Could you stop with the Mrs. Park thingy? We're not married!" She stomped her foor on the ground and faced me.
"Want me to drive you to work?" I asked.
"You don't have a car."
"Minhyun has a car." Her eyebrows seemed to furrow harder when I mentioned Minhyun. "And he's always generous when it comes to things."
"Joshua is picking me up, okay?"
"Is Joshua your husband? No, right? So please let me drive you to work." I pleaded, but she continued on walking as if she heard nothing. Wow. Courting Mina is hard as fuck. I heard a horn of a car outside, so I assumed that Joshua is already there. I did not want to interfere, so I just stayed and sat on the couch.
"Are you guys married?" I hears Tiffany noona ask while she's sitting on one of the tall chairs by the counter.
"Arranged." I smiled bitterly and her shoulders fell.
"That's ridiculous. I mean, who would actually sell their sons and daughters for business shit? You don't have anything to do with your business anyway." She ranted. I get her point, but she won't be able to understand unless she's on the same shoe as we are.
"Our family would." We shared a laugh. I actually don't know what to do because I'm stuck here. I don't have work to do here. Basically, I'm just visiting the country for Mina. "By the way, where is Mina working? Can you take me there?" I looked back at her.
She ate her yoghurt, "Yep, I can." She nodded and swallowed her food. "Why do you want to visit her?"
"Is she working overnight today?" I asked.
"Well, it's Tuesday." She said. "Tuesday means Taco Tuesday and that means she's going to have a lot of customers at her bar, so it's a yes. She's definitely be there until the last customer drops his money." A bar? I leaned on the couch and thought of why would Mina manage a bar. Of all kind of businesses, why a bar? I mean, she came from working from a bar, so I guess...Gosh, no. She can't be back being a harlot again. "I know what you're thinking."
"What?"
"She's not a performer. She owns the bar and the bar is completely safe. There are no prostitutes or whatsoever. It's a clean business." The nervousness in my heart decreased when Tiffany noona told me that. I'm so relieved that she did not go back to her past life. "Plus, Joshua wouldn't let her."
"Can you please explain to me who Joshua is?" I asked.
"Mina's best friend." Good. "It would be bad if they're married even though she's arranged, right?"
"Right."

The door of the bar has this sign called "CLOSED", but that did not refrain me from going in. It's still open and there are no people. It was a bit dim, but the purple lights are helping me to find a way.
There are no open rooms beside this one on the second floor and I think that's where Mina is. I composed myself before anything else. I breathed deep and opened the door, but I did not find her there.
There is also a spiral staircase that leads to the rooftop, so I went upstairs and saw her. She's sitting on the cement all by herself with a bottle of alcohol by her side.
I sat beside her and before she can even retort on me coming here, I cupped her face and...
