AT HOSPITAL

Swara, Sharmishta, Shekhar, Sanskar, Laksh and Veer were waiting in the corridor for any news about Ragini. All were tensed.

Laksh was continuosly walking from right to left and vice versa. He stopped near a pillar and hit it with the fist looking down. He leant against it and looked at the empty wall in front of him. Ragini's laughter was echoing in his mind. He recalled their first meeting, how she slapped her after the accident with her Dad and how he got angry after that and kept annoying her also when she came to help him with studies, how she once hugged him since she was scared by darkness.

He smiled recalling those moments and at the same time a tear ran down from his wet eye.

Laksh thought: "Nafrat se shuru huwi humari kahani, ishq mai badal doonga. Lucky jitna bhi karle tu inkaar, haule haule tujhko to abh ho gaya hai pyaar."

(Our story started with hatred but I'll turn it into love. You can deny it how many times you want Lucky, but you have slowly fallen in love now.")

"Rab da vi rab koi hona,

kare koi yun jadu tona..."

Who does such magic...")

Sanskar was leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets. He had not any expression on his face. He was looking at the ground. Sanskar recalled Ragini dancing with him at the party, their first meeting when he saved her from a guy who was misbehaving with her, their competition in the basket-ball match.

He looked at the door of Ragini's ward and thought: "Tujhe dekhte hi tujhse pyaar ho gaya tha... par samjhne mai dairi ho gayi. Par dil ne abh yeh ishq qubool kar diya hai... abh baaki hai to sirf tumara ikraar aur mujhe pata hai... haule haule tumhe bhi ho jayega pyaar."

(It was love at first sight for me but I took time to understand my feelings. But now this heart has accepted this love, now what's left is only your agreement. And I am sure, love will slowly happen for you too."

("I hope she agrees

To this love of mine")

Veer was sitting on a chair. He opened his wallet and looked at it for a while and then suddenly closed it looking on with teary eyes.

Veer thought: "Ek baar pyaar kho chukka, abh phirse nehi." (I have lost my love once, but won't let it happen again now.)

"Rab de sahare chalde

Na hai kinare chalde

Doli hai na kaha re chalde..."

("Let's go with the support of God

Let's go even if we don't see the shore

Let's go even if there is no palanquin.")

They had realized their love and now it was time to win it.

"Kya kehke gaya tha

Shayar woh sayana

Aag ka dariya, doob ke jaana!"

("What did he say and go

That smart poet

It's an ocean of fire, you have to drown to cross it."

Sharmishta was crying hiding her face on Shekhar's shoulder: "My daughter... she was scared of the name of hospital and now... I don't know how is she in that ward, alone..."

She indicated the room's door with a finger to Shekhar and crying she said: "I must go inside! My daughter needs me!"

Swara put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down. She had tears in eyes too: "Maa don't worry, nothing will happen to our Ragini."

Veer spoke: "I wish I hadn't made that plan. Ragini wouldn't have been in this situation..."

Swara looked at him confused: "Which plan?"

Veer: "Ragini didn't want to do that kiss scene of course and I understood that obviously. So we decided to make some balloons fall on us at the moment. They would have covered us. But I don't know how that box came instead of the balloons."

Swara was shocked. She looked at Sanskar and Laksh and recalled how they tried to boycott that scene.

She had tears in eyes: "You both didn't even think that you could harm my sister by doing this?"

Eveybody looked at her confused.

Sanskar: "What are you saying Swara? By doing what?"

Swara: "Don't pretend to be innocent... why are you both behind my sister? What has she done to you?"

Laksh: "Swara what are you saying?"

Swara: "You guys have done this as a mischief right?"

Sanskar and Laksh shook their heads.

Sanskar: "No Swara, you are misunderstanding us."

Swara: "I will not hear or understand anything. Just go from here! I don't want to see your faces! And you too Veer! You were right... hadn't you made such a plan, Ragini would have been fine!"

Veer: "But Swara..."

Swara: "I said leave! Please!"

Sanskar: "Swara listen to me..."

Swara shouted: "I said just leave!!!"

Laksh looked at her and then went towards Sharmishta who was crying sitting on the chair. He knelt in front of her.

Laksh: Aunty ji... I know how much Ragini is important for you but believe or not, in few days Ragini has made a special space in our hearts and we wouldn't ever do anything that can harm Ragini, never. Swara is blaming us somehow so I promise you that we won't stay silent until we don't find the real culprit and prove ourselves innocent."

Saying this he stood up and went towards Sanskar: "Let's go Bhai."

He held his arm to take him away but Sanskar was looking at Swara trying to say something.

Sanskar: "Swara you are my friend, you must know that I can't do this."

Swara: "Yeah you are my dear friend but if you are even a little bit involved in this incident then I'm sorry... but nothing and no one is more important than Ragini for me."

Sanskar: "But Swara..."

Laksh: "Bhai let's go!"- He held his wrist and dragged him away.

Veer looked at Swara: "Swara..."

Swara shouted crying: "VEER PLEASE GO AWAY!"

Veer looked down and went away too.

Swara sat next to Sharmishta crying.

Just then the doctor came out from the room. Swara and Sharmishta stood up. (Shekhar is still on wheelchair)...

Swara: "Doctor how is Ragini?"

Doctor: "It's nothing to worry about. The injury isn't deep but she is still weak. She just needs rest and must stay here tonight."

Sharmishta: "Can we see her?"

Doctor: "Yeah sure, but first please complete some formalities."

Sharmishta: "Swara go to Ragini, I and your father will just come..."

Swara nodded and entered in the room and saw Ragini lying on the bed with half-opened eyes. She had a white bandage around her head. Swara ran to hug her crying.

Ragini smiled a little bit and slowly hugged her back: "Swara.. why are you crying?"

Swara (sobbing): "You don't know how scared I was"

Ragini: "But see I'm fine now! Stop crying! You know na I don't like tears in your eyes." - She made Swara look at her and wiped her tears.

Then she looked behind Swara: "Swara... Maa, Papa... nobody came?" - she looked disappointed..

Swara: "Maa and Papa are completing some formalities... Veer, Sanskar and Laksh had come but..."

Ragini: "But what?"

Swara explained her what happened.

Ragini didn't know what to say. She was just confused: "Swara... are you sure Sanskar and Laksh did this? I mean... Sanskar too?"

Swara: "I know Ragini what are you thinking, but they tried to spoil the play many times... I don't know why... I am quite sure they did this too!"

Ragini: "but..."

Just then Sharmishta came in the room. She was holding a tiffin. Shomi ran towards Ragini and hugged her tightly crying.

Ragini made her look at her and cupped her face wiping her tears: "Maa you too? Nothing has happened to me! Don't worry so much! And I just saw that there is a tiffin in your hands... there is my favorite food cooked by the best mother in the whole world?"

Sharmishta nodded smiling and crying.

Ragini: "So what are you waiting for? Feed me!"

Sharmishta smiled. She opened the tiffin and took the food out feeding Ragini with it and looking at her with teary eyes.

Swara: "Maa I am here too! Did you forget me?"

Sharmishta and Ragini laughed.

Ragini: "How can we forget our Shona!"

She fed Swara's mouth. Mother and daughters shared a hug.

After it Swara said to Sharmishta: "Maa, you and Papa go to home. I will stay with Ragini tonight."

Sharmishta: "Sure?"

Swara: "Yah, Papa needs you too so you both must go."

Sharmishta nodded.

LATER

LAKSH'S ROOM

Laksh was lying on the bed but wasn't able to sleep. He is continuously thinking about Ragini: "Now she must have gotten conscious. How will she be? Shall I go and check?"

He stood up and was about to go out of the room when he thought: "But what if she is thinking like Swara too? She already hates me so..."

He opened the room's door thinking: "I have to clear everything..."

He went in the living room and saw that the lights were turned on and Sanskar was putting on a jacket.

Laksh: "Sanskar?!" - Sanskar turned towards him – "Are you going somewhere?"

Sanskar: "Yeah, Ragini got conscious. She called me to the hospital so I'm going there."

Laksh furrowed his eyebrows: "Why did she call you?"

Sanskar smiled: "I don't know. Maybe she was missing me. She sent me an sms asking me to come so I need to go asap!"

Laksh: "SMS?" - He took his phone from his pocket and a smile came on his face seeing a Ragini's SMS.

Laksh: "I think Ragini is missing me too... let's go!"

Sanskar who was about to open the door to go out turned towards him: "What do you mean?"

Laksh showed him the phone: "Ragini's sms!"

Sanskar looked up: "God don't you want to see me happy?"

Laksh smiled and both the brothers went out of the flat.

AT THE HOSPITAL

Ragini was sitting on the bed and was waiting for someone. The door of her ward opened. Ragini looked on and smiled.

Ragini: "Veer! Come, come inside!"

Veer entered in the room a little bit worried: "Ragini.. why did you call me so late at night? Are you fine?"

Ragini: "Arey sit here first."

He went near her and sat on the stool next to her bed: "Yeah now tell me."

Ragini: "I called you here to apologize on the behalf of Swara for her behavior."

Veer looked at her for some seconds then he started to laugh.

Ragini looked at him confused: "Why are you laughing?"

Veer: "You called me at midnight to ask me sorry.. for nothing?!"

Ragini: "It's not like that. It wasn't your fault but still Swara literally kicked you out of the hospital."

Veer laughed: "And where is she now?"

Ragini: "She has gone home to get some stuff."

Veer: "Ok... well, what's today?"

Ragini thought and then asked: "Is it your birthday?"

Veer shook his head.

Ragini: "Then what?"

Veer took a chocolate bar from his pocket and showed it to Ragini: "Chocolate day!"

Ragini smiled: "I didn't know that"

Veer laughed and opened the chocolate: "So who wants this chocolate?"

Ragini tried to take it from his hands but Veer backed his hand off laughing.

Ragini made a cute face crossing her arms. Veer smiled staring at her and then fed her with a piece of chocolate making her smile too.

Just then Sanskar and Laksh entered in the room and saw them. Laksh clenched his fists. Sanskar gritted his teeth.

Ragini looked at them: "Sanskar! Laksh! Come!"

The 2 went near her and sat on the bed near Ragini's feet.

Sanskar: "How are you now?"

Laksh: "Are you fine?"

Ragini laughed: "Arey I'm perfectly fine as usual. Just a little bit angry with you guys!"

SanLak looked at each-other: "Angry?"

Ragini: "What was the need of doing all this?"

Laksh and Sanskar stood up.

Laksh: "So I was right. You think like Swara too!"

Sanskar: "Do you really think that we can do this?"

Ragini: "I thought yes but seeing your reaction I guess no. Then who changed the balloons with the box?"

Laksh: "I don't know but to prove ourselves innocent, we will find it out!"

Sanskar: "Yes Ragini!"

Ragini smiled and looked at him: "I hope you are saying the truth. You know you are my best friend so I don't want you to have done this."

Sanskar nodded smiling.

Ragini: "Veer give me the chocolate please..."

Veer passed her the chocolate's bar. Ragini fed Sanskar with a piece of it: "Happy chocolate day!"

Sanskar did the same with Ragini: "same to you!"

Laksh and Veer absolutly didn't like it.

Ragini looked at Laksh and kept looking at him for a while without saying a word. Then she smiled: "I still have some doubts on you!"

Laksh: "No Ragini.. it's not like..."

But before he could complete his sentence Ragini put a chocolate's piece in his mouth: "Happy chocolate day!" – She giggled at Laksh's stunned expression – "May this be a new beginning for us and may we become friends."

Laksh smiled and fed her back.

Ragini sighed: "Now I must sleep! Hopefully I'll be able to come to the Academy tomorrow."

Veer: "no way!"

Laksh: "you are still weak!"

Sanskar: "you need rest!"

Ragini laughed: "Ok ok, guys chill! And now just get lost before Swara comes and kicks you all out again!"

The 4 laughed.

Veer, Sanskar and Laksh went out of the room after making sure that Ragini took her medicines and is sleeping.

PARKING AREA OF THE HOSPITAL

Sanskar and Laksh were about to get in their car when Veer called them from behind: "Guys!"

Sanskar and Laksh turned towards him.

Veer: "Do you have any idea about who made the box fall?"

Laksh: "I don't have any suspect for now but be sure whoever it was, won't get out of all this so easily!"

Sanskar: "Yeah we will find out the culprit! If someone did it intentionally we will punish him or her!"

Veer: "Yeah you both are right. We must do something!"

Laksh: "Ok so tomorrow we can check at the theatre first and start our mission find Ragini's culprit!"

He brought ahead his hand and Veer and Sanskar put their hands on Laksh's one. They smiled.

NEXT MORNING

The fourth lesson of the morning was about to start and it was dance class. Everybody were waiting for the teacher when Ragini came inside.

Karishma sighed: "Here is Miss Queenie!"

Swara, Sanskar, Laksh and Veer went towards her.

Swara: "Ragini I told you not to come!"

Ragini: "chill guys! I am fit and fine! And this is dance class! How can I miss it! You know na how much I like it!"

Someone spoke from behind: "But it doesn't mean that you are also good at it..."

All turned. The teacher was standing in front of them. She was one of the strictest teacher of the academy.

Teacher: "Let's see today how you actually dance! I want 3 couples!"

The students looked at each-other... all were scared from her.

Teacher: "Since there is no volunteer, I'll choose. Ragini Gadodia and... Sanskar Maheshwari!"

Sanskar smiled. Laksh and Veer looked at him angrily.

Teacher: "Swara Gadodia and Veer Singhania... and Karishma Sagar with Laksh Maheshwari..."

Karishma smiled.

Teacher: "lights off!! And I want something different. These are the starting couples but they should not be the same at the end! Hope I'm clear!"

The lights turned off. Music started on background. ''joganiya''played.

Spotlights on Karishma and Laksh.

''Paari paari honthon pe na jaane kaise

Dhaani dhaani muskurahaton ke phool khilne lage, mann hi man...''

Spotlights on Swara and Veer.

Spotlights on Ragini and Sanskar. Ragini ran towards Sanskar and threw herself in his arms. He raised her up holding her waist and twirled holding her.

("I've become your loving half,
You're my eternal love, and I'm your eternal lover...")

Sanskar put Ragini down and put a hand on her waist and held her other hand. She put the other hand on his shoulder. They slowly moved.

''Ab chaahe mohe rang lagaa

Piya ji mohe ang lagaa..''

("Now whether you color me,
Or my beloved, you touch me..")

Spotlights on Swara and Veer and Karishma and Laksh.

The lights turned off. Spotlights on the three couples: Now they were Ragini and Veer, Sanskar and Karishma and Swara with Laksh. They started a close dance.

"Jab se mili baahein teri

Mujh se mili raahein meri...''

("Since I got (the support of) your arms
My paths merged with those of yours..")

The girls went away from the boys.

''Chhat pe teri jaag ke

Mujh se mili subah meri...''

("Having woken on your roof,
I met your mornings..")

The lights turned off but the shadows are showing the couples moving.

Spotlights on the couples. The boys twirled the girls holding their hands and making them go far from themselves.

Darkness in the room. When the lights re-turned on, Ragini was with Laksh, Swara with Sanskar and Karishma with Veer. The girls walked around their male partner keeping a hand on their shoulders.

''Neeme neeme nainon mein naa jaane kaise

Meethe meethe chaahaton ke chheente aaj padne lage, mann hi mann...''

("In these neem like bitter eyes, I don't know how
Today there fall sweet sprinkles of love, in my heart..")

The boys pulled the girls towards them.

Ragini looked in Laksh's eyes. He was lost in hers. Suddenly Ragini felt her head spinning and paining and as soon as the music turned off... she fainted in Laksh's arms.
