CHAPTER 56
As Rameshwari was swinging alongside Ulka, her eyes fell on the bushes, moving a little. A smile appeared on her face knowing exactly who it was.
"Kaun hai waha ?" She asked, and all the attention of the hand maidens also fell on the bushes.
They all stood up and went to the side of their princess, ready to protect her from any threat. They were trained especially for this job.
"Samaksh aao." Rameshwari said with a smile.
"Yeh aise nahi aane wale. Rukiye Rajkumari, mai abhi uss vyakti ko leke aati hu." Ulka said.
But as she got down from the swing, the ones behind bushes came out. They were none other than the sons of Bharat, Taksh and Pushkal.
Those four year old princes, shyly made their way towards their elder sister, and greeted her by touching her feet.
"Pranam jiji." They said.
"Aise chhup ke kya kar rahe the ?" She asked.
"Um..." They both looked around at the handmaidens and then at their elder sister. She understood they wanted to talk in private.
"Ekant." Rameshwari said.
And all the handmaidens including Ulka left the royal garden, to give privacy to the princess and the princes. Once they all had left, Rameshwari gazed back at her cousins.
"Ab batao." Rameshwari said.
"Jiji, hume fal khana hai." Taksh said.
"Accha ? Toh yaha kyu aaye ho ? Rasoi ghar se lelo." Rameshwari said.
"Nahi Nahi Jiji. Rasoi ghar wale nahi fal nahi. Sarayu nadi ke paas Jo ped hai, waha ke fal khane hai." Pushkal said.
"Hume le chaliye na udhar." Taksh said.
"Kisi bade ke bina hum kaise jaa sakte hai ? Akele jana uchit nahi." Rameshwari said.
And at that both the sons of Bharat held her either hands, looking at her with pleading eyes.
"Aap badi hai na humse. Kripiya chaliye na." Taksh said.
"Ha. Aapke rehte hume koi haani nahi pahuchegi." Pushkal said.
"Bina puche gaye toh Pitashree krodhit honge." Rameshwari said shaking her head.
"Tatshree kaha krodhit hote hai aap par ? Chaliye na Jiji." Taksh said.
"Ha jiji. Hume woh fal khaane hai." Pushkal said.
"Accha uchit hai. Kintu kisi ko bata ke jaate hai." Rameshwari said.
"Sab vyast hai Jiji. Chaliye na ab." Taksh said.
"Ha jiji. Shigreh kariye." Pushkal said.
"Thik hai. Chalo." Rameshwari relented looking at their pleading faces.
The twins of Bharat and Mandavi were elated as they pulled her happily to outside.
"Rajkumari kaha jaa rahi hai aap ?" Ulka asked seeing them.
"Sarayu nadi ke tat par." Rameshwari said leaving.
-- TIMESKIP --
The court session had ended early today. And after presenting himself on the royal pathway to the citizens, Shri Ram was on his way to his Bhavan.
He was happy today, as the entertainers had proposed to present a play tomorrow evening for the royal family to witness.
In their busy schedule the royals hardly got time to spend together. And this was a great opportunity for the royal family to come together.
Shri Ram was especially happy because he knew how much his daughter loved and appreciated these plays and dramas. He knew the moment he'll tell this to Rameshwari, she'll be overcome by great joy.
And so entering his bhavan, he went to his daughter's room, as always. But it no one was there. He frowned and then went to the Sangeet kaksh but no one was there in that room also.
He then went to his room, incase Rameshwari needed a piece of paper from his desk for sketching buildings but she wasn't there also.
He then went to the Puja-sthal, in case she would be worshiping Mata Durga like daily, but she wasn't there also.
Shri Ram then went to the royal garden, in case she was playing there.
"Ramey ?" He called but she wasn't there also.
"Pranaam Maharaj. Kintu Rajkumari yaha nahi hai." Ulka said approaching him.
"Toh kaha hai ?" Shri Ram asked.
"Woh, Rajkumar Taksh aur Rajkumar Pushkal, Sarayu tat gaye hai." Ulka said.
"Sarayu tat ? Kiske saath ?" Shri Ram asked worriedly.
"Akele." Ulka said.
"Akele ?" Shri Ram's eyes widened.
He was quick to turn on his feet and rushed outside the bhavan.
