Mabel's P.O.V.

I can't believe it, the world is at a risk of being destroyed and JJ is planning on sacrificing his life to save everybody. I can't let him do that, there has to be some way of stopping him.

"I'm going on the roof to relax and get some fresh air. Nobody touch my phone."

This was my opportunity to find out some of his origins and his past, as he went onto the roof I snatched his phone and ran to my bed and opened his phone, luckily he didn't leave it locked so I was able to access it easily. I opened his messages and read them to myself.

(Italics = JJ, Underlined = Brianna, if you guys didn't know this is my sort of girlfriend.)

JJ I haven't seen you at church in the past couple of years, where are you

Ok don't be mad, but I went on a journey with some people and we're trying to save the world

WHAT, JJ how could you, did you even think about telling me earlier

I did, but I thought you'd be mad at me

The only way I could be mad is if you died and I never saw you again

Bri, I promise you that I WILL return home safely

How do you know, you don't know what's going to happen in the next five minutes

That may be true but I will do anything i can do to see you again and keep us together

After reading the last text message I heard JJ get ready to come back in so I closed the messaging and put his phone back. "Hey JJ, are you feeling okay"?

"I'll be better when you admit you went through my phone."

"Ok, I went through you phone, now I know you have a girl that obviously loves you and cares for you, and your just going to sacrifice yourself to keep her safe, she's expecting you to return to her, and it's our job you make it back to her."

"Mabel, read the last time I texted her." He tossed me his phone and I looked at the date they last talked to each other and it was 3 months ago. "We haven't talked since then and by then I didn't know about what the prophecy held, I know what it is now and someone has to sacrifice them self for any chance of peace."

"JJ, listen to me. The prophesy is just a bunch of mumbo jumbo that isn't going to happen and just makes a person paranoid about it, thinking it's actually going to happen even though it isn't going to happen." I was angry now, I was yelling so loud even people on the other side of the world could hear me. After all he's done to get to where he is today, he's just going to throw it out the window and end his life. Not on my watch.

JJ's P.O.V.

I could feel Mabel's rage from where I was standing, I could tell she wanted to do something to stop me but I wasn't having it, out of the 7 billion plus people in this world, only one should have to die in this war, and I would take that chance. "Mabel, I know you want to stop me, but it's not going to work, nothing you say or do will stop me from doing this."

"I'll think of something, and I will make sure you return to her, if it's the last thing I do in my miserable life." And with that she stormed off even though there wasn't much room in the RV so she walked about 5 to 10 feet and sat down on the bed.

"Hey JJ, don't worry about my sister, she's going through something. You really want to do this"? Dipper asked me as I sat in the passenger seat.

"Yes Dipper, I do want to do this, but after Mabel's fit it just wants me to do it more. I want the world to be safe and for everyone on this planet to be alive after all this is over, no one should have to die due to murder of Kreis and her minions, no one."

"You know, I never heard about the prophecy, could you tell me the story"?

"Sure, no problem, something to keep my mind off of things."

Third Person P.O.V.

"The prophecy holds many life changing stories but the one we're living in is so much scarier than your worst nightmare. It all starts with the journey, a group of four people journey over to Clarksville, TN and find a young man with something so powerful that it could defeat the most powerful of demons. The young man joined the group and they ventured around the world in search of the materials to stop an enemy strong enough to swallow the earth as if it were a pea."

"As the journey goes on, it gets even more dangerous and the material gets easier to find for some reason. After it is all collected, the once enemy that was the main threat is killed by her apprentice and she becomes the next enemy, even stronger than the last. Killing her brother for vengeance for abandoning her, she ordered the minions to hunt down the other four people trying to kill her former master."

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on. You're telling me the puppet king is dead now. Who killed her"? Dipper asked JJ curious and shocked at the event.

"Yes the puppet king is dead, but the one who killed her was once an ally, but now an enemy. That new enemy is Kreis Cipher. Save the rest of your questions till the end of the story." JJ said as he continued the story.

"Now out of the four of the people,  one of them knew many forms of martial arts, training them to fight for themselves, but this man did not have demon given powers like the other three did but he had courage and heart to do whatever it took to be victorious in the war that would soon come. As the miniature war started the mortals were doing good so far, until the boss came into play, no matter what they did nothing could stop her, all hope was lost."

"Then the martial artists man thought of something, something that would scar him for life, he sacrificed himself to save the world, he grabbed the boss and slung himself around her and recited a spell, however this spell was no ordinary spell, it was dark magic that destroyed anything that the man was touching, even himself. That day, the war that started ended only 2 hours later, with the other three members of the group sad and depressed, they buried what was left of the man's body, which was an arm, and bid him farewell into the afterlife."

"And that's what the prophecy holds for us, my death and your sadness. I die, but you guys are safe, it's a lose-win-win for me. Now do you know why I have to do this, why I have to sacrifice myself for the world, if I don't then Kreis will destroy the planet and potentially the universe." JJ exclaimed with everyone around now.

"But JJ, what about the one you love, and the ones you care for? You can't just leave them without saying goodbye first." Mabel said with tears streaming down her face.

"Yes Mabel, I can and I have to, trust me I don't want to do it either but it's the only way to save everyone in the world. The only way to save you guys." JJ stated once again.

"JJ, no matter what you tell yourself, we will ALL make it out of this war and reign victorious, with all of us heroes, breathing heroes, heart beating heroes, alive heroes." JJ had to admit Pacifica's speech was pretty good.

"Pacifica hun, that was beautiful. You have got to become a motivational speaker when we make it out of this." Dipper told his girlfriend making Pacifica blush a beet red.

"Thank you Dipper, I try a little bit." Pacifica said taking a bow for congratulations. "Now I'm doing this because the puppet king nearly ended my father's life, I'm doing it for family." She stuck her hand out in front of her making some sort of group joining.

"I haven't seen Candy or Grenda in the past four years, I'm doing it for friends." Mabel said placing her hand on top of Pacifica's.

Dipper pulled over on the side of the road and put the car in park. "I just found the love of my life, and there's no way I'm going to lose you Pacifica, I'm doing it for loved ones." It wasn't long before Dipper's hand joined the pile making three out of the four ready for battle.

"What do you say JJ, will you join us? To save the world and stay alive"? Pacifica asked JJ with a look of sorrow on their faces.

"The prophecy says I'm going to die." JJ placed his hand on top of the pile and said something no one expected. "I'll do it and try my best to stay alive, but I'm doing it for the citizens of the world."

"All right then, victory on three." Pacifica started the countdown. "1. 2. 3."

"For victory"! They all yelled raising their hands in the air.

"I told you there was a way to change your mind JJ." Mabel braggingly said.

"You know what Mabel. Thanks, for giving me hope on life." Mabel could see the look in his eyes telling her that he was truly thankful.

"Hey, we've gotta win a war against demons, did you really think I'd let you sacrifice yourself for the world? No didn't think so." After that Mabel playfully messed with his hair and they both laughed.

"Well guys, while we're pulled over let's start training with your powers and some self defense human mechanisms." Everyone could hear the excitement in JJ's voice when he said that, it looks like the heroes of the world were getting ready for a war coming in the near future.

Okay guys this was an interesting chapter to write, I had a great time explaining some things that I had in mind at first then I had other ideas so the prophecy is going to change. And no there will not be any MabelXOC later on in the story it was just a way to continue the story. Take care everybody.
