The ride back to the agency was pleasant. Skye and TnTina kept talking about going shopping for clothes. Brutus was busy messing with Peely. Maya sat in the co-pilot seat while Midas was flying. Meowscles had his head laying in your lap. He started to purr once you began rubbing his head with the back of your hand. This was the first time you had been around so many exciting people. You mainly talked to Drift because everyone else was too afraid of your touch. After a couple of minutes, the chopper landed on a pad at the agency. Everyone jumped out and headed into the building. Midas stood by the chopper waiting for you to get out. Once you got out, you both walked inside.

"I will show you where you will be staying. You can decorate it however you want." Midas said as you both walked up a flight of stairs. You stopped at a pair of doors. Midas gently grabbed your wrist and held it up to the scanner. You gasped at his touch. You started to feel your face get hot as you blushed. Once the scanner turned green, Midas pushed the doors open revealing a big room with a bed to the side and a desk in the middle.

"This is beautiful and so big." You walked into the room amazed at how big the room was. 

"The bathroom is just past those doors." Midas pointed to the door next to the bed. You turned to him with a static expression.

"This room is all mine? Really?" Midas smirked at your excitement while nodding his head. You ran and jumped on the bed. You sighed at the softness.

"I'm glad you like it. Skye will probably help you with decorating. If you need anything, I'm just down the hall." Midas started to walk to the doors. You jumped off the bed and ran to him. Before he opened the door you wrapped your arms around him giving him a hug. He stopped from the feeling of your arms around his waist.

"Thank you so much, Midas. You didn't have to help me but thank you." You let go of him. Midas turned his head and nodded before leaving the room. As soon as the door closed, Midas let out a sigh he didn't know he was holding in. His thoughts were filled with your smiling face. He could feel his face heating up. You walked back to your bed and fell on it. You slowly fell asleep.

*Next Morning* 

You woke up to the sound of knocking on your door. You hopped out of bed and headed to the door. You crack it open to see Skye and Meowscles.

"Morning. What time is it?" You asked groggily. 

"Good morning, Y/n. It is...7:30 AM. Midas forgot to tell you but we have meetings at 8. He wants you down there and does not be late. He hates it when someone is late..." Meowscles spoke but was cut off by Skye.

"And I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping with me and Maya. You just moved so you are going to need some new clothes." Skye had a giant grin on her face and was holding her hands together.

"That sounds like fun, sure. I should probably get ready so I'm not late." Meowscles and Skye nodded then walked away. You closed the door and walked to the dresser. Every piece of clothing was black. You pulled out a tank top and booty shorts. After putting them on, you rush to pull your h/c hair into a ponytail. You grab a pair of socks and your boots and run out the door. You only had 5 minutes to get to the meeting room. You push open the doors at the last second. Everyone's head turns towards you.

"I'm here. Sorry, I'm late. I didn't know we had a meeting." You quickly find an empty chair and sit in it. You start to put your socks and boots on. Everyone turns their attention to Midas who is standing at the head of the table.

"Now that everybody is here. It looks like shadow is trying to take over Misty Meadows. I got word from some of the henchmen that there have been sitings of the shadow henchmen." Midas laid his hands on the table. The table slowly started to turn gold the longer he gripped the table.

"M, you need to calm down. We will take care of this and find out what is going on," Meowscles spoke quickly. Midas let go of the table and the gold started to fade. You watched as the gold disappeared. You were surprised that it was gone. For you, everything that turned into diamonds never went back to normal.

"Y/n, you will be staying here with me. We will be practice with guns and combat. We will also be taking time to help control...you." Midas spoke carefully. After that, Midas released everyone. You stayed behind to ask Midas about his gold.

"How did you do that?" You asked.

"Do what?" Midas responded.

"You turned the table gold but after you let go, it went back to normal. I've never been able to do that."

"It took a while but I was able to learn how to make things go back to how they were before. It will take some time but I will help you." Midas smiled and spoke. It was the first time you had seen him smile since meeting each other. 

"Well, let's get started."
