flashback: high school; jimin 3rd yr & yoongi 4th yr

the room was silent as the two best friends laid in bed together. this was a normal thing for them, tradition at this point. everyday after school, yoongi and jimin went to jimin's house to hang out. jimin's parents were hardly home, so it made this that much better.

it was close to yoongi's graduation, and the end of another school year. yoongi going off to the local college, and jimin in his last year.

jimin was usually the little spoon when they cuddled, but this time it was the elder who needed to be held. yoongi's douchebag of a boyfriend just broke up with him through a stupid text message. jimin had been furious, but yoongi calmed him down as best as he could. that was hours ago. jimin has been holding him since.

yoongi didn't cry. sure, he was sad but he's used to it. never being enough and dissatisfying them. him and jinwoo had only been dating for a couple of months, so yoongi guesses in that time he realized that yoongi wasn't it.

he had always tried to give his all and put effort into his relationships, but people weren't just satisfied. and yoongi has gotten used to that. why he still gets into relationships is beyond him. maybe he just wants to feel something. wants to feel needed and liked.

jimin thought- no, he knew that yoongi was always enough. will always be enough. the fact that people couldn't see it made his blood boil. yoongi is the most sweet and kind-hearted person he's met and nothing can change that.
