Early Hermits
(Doc's POV)
"A meeting?"
Doc scratched his head. Well, okay.
Doc had landed near the shore. Sand was covering his whole body when he woke up, and he still did.
When the freak storm came, he was happily flying in his elytra..
And then, BAM!
A stone brick, and a sudden hole on the ground.
He must of flown off with the wind.
Doc looked at his dirty steampunk style elytra. "Dirty, but still usable.", he thought.
He got out his rockets and soared into the air, looking for X.
(Wel's POV)
His metal armor (Including the diamond armor he had on) clanked as he landed.
Xisuma had called a meeting near the statue of Hermitry.
"What could it possibly be about?", Wels thought.
Looking around, it seemed that Wels was a bit too early.
"Damn. If only I was invisible.", he thought. "That's just embarrassing."
With a 'whoosh', Doc landed.
Right on top of Wels.
"Ow. Doc, get off?", he asked annoyed. Couldn't he see where he was?
Doc suddenly looked panicked. "W-Wels?", he whispered softly. "Where are you? I can't see you.."
Wels snorted. "Ha. Very funny. Just to let you know, you're on top of me.", he retorted.
Doc looked down, and got off. "No, I mean it. Look at yourself!", he replied.
Wels looked at his hands, and saw nothing.
So he WAS invisible.
(Tango's POV)
Tango peeped out of his ruined base. There he was.
The disturber.
Assaulting his Demise bunker with false TNT blows and eggs.
"Gri-aaaannnn!", Tango shouted angrily.
The short and childish Brit with dirty blond hair with a red shirt had laughter bubbling in his eyes.
"Just because my base is broken and I fell does NOT permit you to bother me!", Tango yelled.
Grian smirked, and threw another egg into Tango's angry face.
As the egg slipped off his face, he could see Grian having a laughing fit.
"NOT FUNNY!", Tango roared, and then everything turned red.
When he recovered, Tango saw Grian staring frozen at the trees behind him.
The trees were burning.
"How did that happen?", Tango thought. "And why does it feel hot?"
He looked down at his hands. Although his anger faded away, he could still see the fire ignited on his hands. Fading away, as if it never happened.
(Python's POV)
Python crashed to the ground. Somehow, he was still alive. Somehow, he wasn't knocked out.
"That doesn't matter.", he mentally hissed to himself. "I'm alive, and I managed to catch glimpses of me flying through the atmosphere."
By sheer coincidence, he had landed near the Statue of Hermitry, where he saw Doc talking to the air.
Python coughed, and walked closer.
Oh, and did he forget to mention he heard the air talking BACK?
A strange Wels-like voice was having a serious conversation with Doc.
"So, I can turn invisible. And I can't turn back. Great.", said the air.
Python gulped.
"Wels?", he inquired. "How are you invisible, man?"
Doc turned to look at Python.
He grabbed Python's red scaly shoulders with a pushing motion
But something was different.
The push was a lot harder than Python (Or Doc) anticipated, and Python fell down backwards and hit his head on the hard path.
Silence.
Shock.
"H-how? And how did I keep conscious?", Python stuttered.
Wels spoke up from somewhere behind him.
"And.. I think that proves that everyone on Hermitcraft might have some kind of superpower."
Python took a shaky breath, and put a scaly hand on his forehead.
And noticed something.
"What's this mark on my hand?", he asked Doc.
Doc grunted and walked over before kneeling down.
"Let me see?", he asked timidly, since he just hurt someone with a simple motion.
Python turned his wrist in Doc's direction.
On it was a circle with four smaller circles inside it.
In response, Doc showed his wrist.
A circle with a fist on it.
Before Python could react, a blue blur tackled into Doc.
Doc fell over.
The blur stopped, and revealed itself to be Joe Hills.
"Sorry ah'm late-", he said before stopping to check a clock he carried.
"How in the world did that happen?", he said dumbfounded after a while. Ah'm pretty sure I was flying over here at a normal speed, but it seems that I came here in just five milliseconds!"
Python understood the kinder hermit's confusion
What on earth is going on?
(Joe's POV)
"Oh golly! Ah'm late!", Joe had cried out once he gained full consciousness.
He had been awake for a while now on the hill, but had to stay still to stop the stars from spinning over his head.
He proceeded to grab his elytra and rockets and flew off at a perfectly NORMAL speed.
And then, he smashed into something.
Dizzy, he ran around in circles, apologized, and check the clock.
He'd been traveling for only five milliseconds.
"I sure hope nothing bad will happen.", Joe thought. "Because the way I see it, this could be an omen of incoming doom."
"Meanwhile," Joe said cheerfully. "While we wait for 'early' to become 'right on schedule' let's talk!"
(Time skip brought to you by an adorable Jellie meowing at a waking up Scar.)
(Xisuma's POV; first repeat POV)
X landed at the Statue of Hermitry, and saw the hermits (Except for Wels; he's still invisible- but X doesn't know yet) standing there. "I apologize for being late and calling for an unexpected meeting. But it seems to me that something strange has happened."
(Author's Note)
I made up several different types of elytra.
Feathered: The most attractive, although most hard to get, as it requires so much feathers and an hour to wait for the feathers to stick together in a furnace. Gray with feathers all over it. Grian and Poultry Man are the main users; but they got their feathers from chickens who strayed into other hermit traps. Poor chickens.
Holographic: A pale any color, can't be struck by weapons. Made with glass panes and a beacon.
Steampunk: White and mechanical looking. Most sturdy, although oil is needed to keep it working.
Armoric: Only TFC has this type. It looks like a chest plate, but can unfold into a heavy elytra that needs a runway to take off.
Skeletal: Currently used by the dead team, made of bones. Looks like a pair of skeletal dragon wings. How they fly? Only Cleo knows.
Flappy: Comes in any color, although gray is most common. Looks like two squares of huge pieces of leather stuck together. Default elytra.
Dripping: IJevin's specialty; wings made out of slime that hardens in air and water.
Mob: Usually ripped out of Phantoms, parrots, chickens, or Ender Dragons. Least popular, due to animal cruelty.
Warrior: A combination of Armoric and Steampunk; won't be used until later on. Has sharp edges like swords.
And for times when your elytra is broken:
Modified Mob Saddles: Can fit on any mob; can be placed no matter what. All the user has to do is jump on before they're attacked! Steering devices still needed.
Flight Potion: ..yeah.
Zeus Trident: A white trident, almost like a normal trident with riptide. Except that you torpedo longer, and is controllable. There is only one in the server; owned by X.
Mercury's Boots: Requires a LOT of feathers and diamond or gold boots. Allows the user to fly with unlimited used unless durability is down.
