(Get ready for some traumatic parts just for a heads up)
"Now I know why you always told me to be strong. You knew that one day I would need to the strength to bear your loss."

School was finally over for the day and Chris couldn't help but feel like she could finally breath as she was able to escape all the many praises and cheers from various students she has never met before. Chris was barely able to lock her truck, before Julie started to pull the two of them towards their house. "Come on, we need to tell dad the news."
"Julie, chill a few extra seconds isn't going to kill us, but if you keep pulling on my arm like you are I might have you get dad to take me to the hospital. Gosh woman when did you get so strong?" Julie just rolled her eyes at her sisters sarcasm, being use to it now, as she continued to pull the two of them to the door.
Quietly entering the house and seeing their father sitting at the island, both Julie and Chris looked at each other and with a nod they screamed, running towards their father. "Good, you both are home." Ray said, smiling at his two daughters.
Getting a good look at what was scattered all on the the table, Julie looked at their father. "What's all this?"
"Ah, just, you know, some stuff on other schools with music programs and... and private lessons stuff. I know it looks like a mess, but your dad's got this." Chris looked at her sister with a smirk before turning towards her father. "Well, luckily for you, Julie got back in our school allowing my spot to be given back to mwah."
Ray did a double take when hearing the news. "Wait. Wait, what? You both aren't joking with me now, right?"
Julie and Chris laughed at their father's eagerness. "We went down and put on a show with some ghosts..."
"Getters, go-getters." Chris corrected her sister, "And Principal Lessa let the two of us back in." Hearing the news Ray smiled happily, throwing all the information that was in hand in the air. "Yes! Yes!" Julie and Chris were quickly pulled into a hug as their father continued to celebrate, form the good news.
"Both of you are awesome. I am so happy for the two of you. You are the best!" After calming down the three Molinas started to pick up their fathers mess, but one brochure caught Julie's eye. "The Australian School of Music?"
Chris turned to her father, "That's halfway around the world."
"I... I was gonna bring you both home for Christmas." All the sisters could do was laugh as they left him to clean up. "Hey, you rock. The best."

"Reggie, what do you think of this riff?" Luke asked, before strumming his guitar. "Sweet, I'm feeling that. And then I come in with a little uh..." Reggie added on with his own riff synching up with Luke's. With a nod of his head he looked at his friend. "Then Julie and Chris come in with their killer lyrics."
"And Sunset Curve is reborn." Reggie happily stated as the two of them continued jamming out not noticing the door opening. "Guys, you aren't supposed to be out here playing alone." Julie said making the two band members halt in their playing. "But we're not alone, 'cause we always have each other." Reggie chuckled as Luke hugged him from behind, earning an eye roll from the eldest Molina, before she unplugged Reggie's guitar from the amp.
"But... but we had the volume level on one." Luke quickly stated, hoping to stop her from unplugging his guitar. "But we rocked it on volume ten. Do you guys want us to play it again?" Reggie asked only to get his answer by Chris unplugging the guitar. "I really don't think Chris does."
"No" Reggie said quickly as he took his guitar off.
"We've been waiting for you both to get home. Ok, so we have some pretty major news to tell the two of you. We had a band meeting earlier, and..." Luke pointed towards Reggie, who started doing a drumroll. "We wanna invite Julie to join Sunset Curve and to reinstate Reese back into the band as well. And no, neither of you are dreaming."
"Oh." Was the sisters could say to the news. "Oh, uh...oh, she said, "Oh." Um...." Luke lost his smile as both him and Reggie didn't fully know how to comprehend on their answer as Luke started to chuckle nervously. "That's what you say when you get socks on your birthday, not when your invited to join the most epic band ever."
"Sorry." Chris said before leaving the three and heading over to her guitar not really caring about joining the band at the moment. "Were both honored."
"I don't really care." Chris interrupted her sister. "I'm honored, but we can't think about anything but Flynn right now. She's still mad at us for lying and she hasn't even texted us back."
The two guys didn't really know how to deal with what Julie has just told them. "Yeah, you guys are in a tough spot. So, you guys wanna join the band?"
Chris looked at Luke, "Read the room, dude." Julie happily pointed towards her sister before heading towards the garage doors. "Oh come on. We need you two, and you guys need us because you guys need music. We found some poems the two of you wrote, and Reggie and I, we added this really cool melody to them." Luke pulled out two pages from his back pocket. "It sounds awesome."
"Where'd you find that?" Both sister yelled causing the two ghost jump. Luke looked between the two girl trying to see who was more willing to kill him for what he was about to say, so he pushed Reggie in between him and Chris. "Uh... definitely not in your guys dream box."
Julie rushed towards the boy. "You went through my stuff?" All Chris could do was just stand in her place debating about killing the two or not, not wanting to deal with explaining to Alex why his two band mates were around anymore. "I know, but..." Luke seeing he was being chased by Julie quickly ran towards the piano creating space between the two of them.
"Yeah, we can do that now." Reggie happily stated, Chris turned towards the boy. "No! No, you can't! Boundaries! Give it back!" She finally snapped joining her sister in chasing the other ghost down. "No! Hey, you need to realize how insanely talented you both are. Ok? Listen to this." Luke hoped onto the piano, before looking down at the first paper he could read.
(Luke)
If somebody hurts you...
Seeing her chance Chris tried to yank the papers out of the boys hand only for him to yank them back.
If somebody hurts you,
I'm gonna get hurt too.
And my life
My life would be real low, zero
Flying solo~
(Reggie)
Oh-oh!
Reggie added in, making Luke smile at how dorky his friend was being before turning back towards the two girls. "It's a killer melody, Julie."
Julie could only let out a sigh. "I wrote that about Flynn when she was helping me with all my mom stuff... and other things." Chris knew what she meant when her sister gave her side glance, making her look away. "Well, Chris came up with an amazing song as well." Luke happily stated reminding the two he had something of Chris as well.
"Luke you better give me that right now..."
(Luke)
And I don't know when I'll see you again
I miss you when I least expect it
So when are you coming home
Home
When are-
Before the boy could finish singing his song, Chris yanked it out of the boys hand. "Don't you ever go through my stuff again, got it?" Before he could answer Chris wiped a tear from her eye and left in a rush. "W-What just happened?" Reggie asked looking at Julie, who's main focus were her shoes at the moment. "You should learn boundaries guys, especially when going through Chris's stuff." Was all she could say as she tried leaving the garage once again.
"Julie, what was so wrong with that song?" Luke questioned as he finally got off the piano. "It was the last song Chris ever wrote ever since our mom died." With that being said, the young Molina left the studio leaving the two ghost behind.

The streets of Hollywood were bustling with pedestrians, people who were going places they were needed at or places that they never got to see before. For Chris it was a way for her to escape from her problems once again, without making a stupid mistake she would regret in the future. She was lost in her thoughts as she continued down the sidewalk not caring if she bumped into pedestrians or where she was going in general, just knowing that it was going to be fun trying to find her truck later or if she even remember to lock her vehicle before starting her journey.
"Chris?" A familiar voice asked halting her finally and breaking said girl away from her brain. Turning towards the direction the voice came from she was introduced to the lovable drummer she hadn't seen earlier. Before she said anything, Chris remembered how she was right now in public rather than in her garage, and quickly pulled her phone out of her pocket something she was thankful remembering to grab.
"Hey, Alex what are you doing here?" She asked before joining him on the bench that he was sitting on. "Oh just thinking... and I might have met another ghost."
Chris turned towards him in surprise. "You met another ghost?" Receiving some looks from people, especially the man in a bear costume who was sitting at the other side of the bench. "Yeah, and he-"
"Oh so it was he~" Chris questioned happily with a smirk evident on her face. "Uh..yeah it was a he." Alex blushed in embarrassment. "I know it's wrong to like a guy, but he was really sweet and I just... I don't know he knew how to help calm me down."
"This guy..."
"Willie" Chris nodded her head. "This Willie fellow sounds really sweet Lex, I'm happy for you. I'd say go for it." Alex had to do a double take when hearing the girl. "Wait your ok with this?"
Seeing his facial features, Chris was lost but then remembered he wasn't here for twenty five years. "Yeah, I'm cool with it in today's society being gay, lesbian or pansexual is more accepted now a days. Don't get me wrong there will be some mean people who will fight against those beliefs, but it's at least getting a little better." When she finished the girl couldn't help but let out a laugh when seeing Alex in complete shock from the news she had just played on him.
"Really?" The girl nodded, "Wow a lot has changed hasn't it? So wait that means if I was still dating Luke I could have legal married him?" He questioned, only to realize what he said when seeing Chris face. "Wait you and Luke? For real?" Alex rubbed the back of his neck in distress. "Yeah. Luke and I use to be a thing for a short time, but it got harder when he started to understand his feelings towards Re- for someone."
All Chris could do was nod her head still shocked about the new information. "Uhh... So why are you walking like a zombie?"
"I was not walking like a zombie."
"Uh, yeah you were trust me, but no your not allowed to change the topic. Talk to me girl, bestie Alex is here. So what's that 411?" He said in a girlish way, making the girl look at him. "Yeah, I regret saying that, but still what's up?"
Knowing that there was no way of getting out of this, she let out a sigh before pulling out the paper from her back pocket. "Luke and Reggie decided to go through Julies and mine dream box today and Luke decided to work on a poem that's really personal to me." Alex looked over the words that were on the page. "Why is it that bad? Like I can understand personal space, but it doesn't seem that bad."
"Yeah, but for me it does matter when you made this song after losing your mother." Chris retorted not meaning to sound mean. "It's a long story..."
"If you can't remember time is kind of irrelevant for me as of right now being a ghost and all." Alex said as he briefly made his hand go through the man who was still siting near the two, eating his sandwich without a care. "But, still Chris in all honesty I'm all ears." Letting out a sigh Chris nodded her head. "Follow me to my truck, if I'm going to tell you about myself we need to go somewhere first."
~🥀~⚰️~🥀~
"Where are we?" Alex asked when Chris finally stopped driving parking at an intersection that seemed to be desolate. "Were at the place that destroyed my family." Chris said as she turned her car off and unbuckled herself before turning towards the ghost who was already looking at her confused. "You wanted to know why that song was so important to me, so be ready for a long story."
Seeing how serious the situation, Alex nodded his head towards the girl, signaling he was all ears for what she was about to tell him. "It was about a year ago, a week after my birthday my family was out and so I invited my ex over."
Flashback
"Chris, we should be working." Carrie said breaking away from her girlfriends lips. "Five. More. Minutes." Chris stated kissing her lips between words, before working her way towards the girls pale neck, knowing that was her weak spot. "Five more minutes and thats it." She weakly stated before relaxing into her girlfriends embrace.
"What I didn't know was my mom got off work earlier than usual."
"Chris? Is that you Mija?" Rose asked as she opened the studio doors, only to gasp in complete shock when seeing her daughter topless with another girl. "Christine!" Looking up, Chris was shock and completely horrified . "Mom!" Both girls jumped away from each other, as Chris quickly pulled her discarded shirt back on quickly and tried to tame her messy hair, Carrie doing the same.
"That day was the first time I have ever seen my mom furious."
Rose looked between the two girls, before looking at the Wilson girl. "You need to leave this instant." Chris looked at her mother in shock. "Mom! That's not fair!" She yelled as she watched her mother glare at her girlfriend in disgust. "Christine Rosa Molina, I am your mother and if I tell her to leave then she leaves."
"She's my girlfriend and I say she stays!" Chris retorted, "It's ok Chris I'll go. I'm sorry Mrs. Molina." Carrie said grabbing her stuff before rushing out the doors. "As you should." Rose retorted. "No she shouldn't, mom she is my girlfriend, not some person I decided to hook up with."
Hearing that, Rose looked at her daughter. "How can you say that, Christine."
"What do you mean how can I say that? She's my girlfriend and has been for a few months now." Chris stated in shock seeing her mother being this cruel to her about being in a relationship.
"My mom and I never really got into fights, but when we did they always ended badly. Yet, this one was way worse than the others."
"You are not allowed to see that girl again, you understand?" Rose stated in a harsh tone. "No! I'm not going to stop seeing her just because you don't like me dating another girl."
"No daughter of mine is going to be living in my house and being dating some girl."
"Than maybe I should leave." Chris retorted not enjoying her mother being like this about someone she cared about and loved. "Leave then!" Rose shouted, but once the words left her mouth she regretted it immediately as she slapped her hand over her mouth. "Christine I-I didn't mean to say that, mija." Yet, Chris didn't stay to hear that as she ran out the door leaving her sobbing mother on the ground.
"I was angry and hurt that my own mother would tell me to leave just because of being with another girl. Yet, what I didn't know was my mom actually was just In shock about seeing me with someone in a compromising position like that." Chris said as tears were slowly sliding down her cheeks. "You don't have to continue if it hurts too much, Chris." Alex said as he grabbed the girls hand and gave it a squeeze. "No, you wanted to know my story I'm going to tell you." She stated exiting the truck and slamming the door harshly, Alex joining her.
"So, I ran away from home and just kept running. I ignored all the messages, calls, and voicemail my family and Carrie were leaving me and just kept running. I made it to this road when I finally decided to check my phone and when I glanced up my mom was a few blocks ahead of me getting out of her car."
"Christine!" Rose yelled running over to her daughter. "Leave me alone mom."
"No, Christine I didn't mean to say the things I said. Your my daughter and I should have accepted that your with a girl, but instead I said some cruel words to the both of you and I'm sorry for that." Rose spoke after grabbing her daughters arms making her look at her. "Well you still said it and that's what makes it hurt more. My own mother telling me I wasn't accepted in my own house just because I was with another girl."
With that Chris hardly yanked her arms out of her mothers hold and crossed the street without looking.
"Your parents tell you countless of times to look both ways before crossing the street, but we easily forget the rule when were in distress or angry. I should have listened."
As Christine was walking across the road she didn't see the headlights heading towards her direction, but her mother did in horror. "Christine!" She shouted before running towards her daughter.
"I blacked out after hitting the ground, but when I finally did wake up I knew something was wrong."
Pain was all Chris could feel at the moment as her head continued to throb. "Mom?" She called out as she turned only seeing her mother laying a few feet away from her. "Mom?!" When she didn't get a response Chris ran over towards he motionless mother not caring about if she was hurt. "Mom? Mom? Mom?!" After not receiving an answer after shaking her multiple times, Chris continued to sob in horror and sadness. "Somebody help me, please! Mom!" Was all Chris could say at the time as she held her mother in her arms as she continued to sob.
"It was ten minutes later when police finally showed up, but it was already too late. The doctors said she passed away on impact because of internal bleeding." Chris sobbed as she collapsed in grief, not caring if she was in the middle of the road. "To this day I wish it was me who got hit by the car because my mom would have been alive still. I know my aunt still hates me because I killed her sister and so does Julie and the rest of them."
The girl continue to sob in pain, before she felt arms encircle her frame and soft whispers from a ghost he slowly became like a bother to her. All they did was sit there and just comfort each other at the moment something the two of them needed at the moment.
So Yeah.... a lot happened in this chapter. We got some Aris moments ( Chris and Alex brotp ship name), but we also got more insight on why my Christine is so broken. I hope you guys liked the chapter and please don't hate me.
