George! I'm just embarrassed to be in guitar class. I'm the only newbie. Everyone is already so good! Also, I can't get help because the teacher can't hear me over everyone's loud strumming. (Also I talk quiet cuz I'm shy) Anyway, I've been practicing every night now. Any advice?

1st of all, it's awesome that you're learning guitar, it's always cool to learn a new instrument!

Anyway, what I would do is that if the teacher is open before or after classes, you can ask him for help then, if you're confident enough.

Also, another thing you can do is that if you know anyone in your guitar class, you can invite them over to your house or go to their house and you can get help from them. People often get help best from friends.

Also, keep practicing. It may look hard now, but it will be easier. I remember feeling the same thing when I started guitar at 14 and look at me now.
