Midnight: M-Midoriya is out of bounds... Todoroki advance to the 3rd round!

Everyone is taken back by the battle's outcome, and Midnight announces that Shoto Todoroki is the victor. In the aftermath of Izuku and Shoto's showdown, Katsuki finds himself annoyed as he overhears fans discussing the battle. Shoto exits the arena and encounters his father in the corridor.

Shoto:...

Endeavor: So you're not gonna tell me to get out of your way this time? Without control over your flames, going all out is dangerous. But you've finally put aside your childish rebellion. You're ready to replace me. To surpass me, even!

Endeavor praises Shoto for using his fire powers and offers him the chance to become his sidekick after graduation.

Endeavor: Work at my side after you graduate! I will guide you down the path to supremacy!

Shoto: I haven't put aside anything. As if I could be turned that easily. It's just in the moment... In that instant... I forget all about you.

Shoto ignores the offer and reveals he hasn't rescinded his disavowal of his father. He says the only reason he used his left side is because he forgot about Endeavor completely during that moment.

Shoto: Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing... That's something I'll have to think about.

As he walks away, Shoto says he remains unsure about his fire power and suggests he may not need Endeavor at all. Unbeknownst to them, a certain blonde haired and a 6 pair of whisker were hearing the whole conversation.

(Elsewhere)

Izuku is taken to Recovery Girl's temporary nurses' office where she informs Izuku that he has gravely injured his arm and requires surgery. Sakura the Medical Hero Sannin was also there to aide Recovery Girl in fixing Izuku's arms. She disapproves of Izuku pushing the limits of his body and scolds All Might for encouraging him to this point. Sarada, Tenya, Ochaco, Minoru, and Tsuyu abruptly enter the room to check on their friend and inform him that matches have been postponed to repair the arena. Sakura and Recovery Girl forces them all to leave so that she can prepare for surgery, further worrying the group.

Despite being weak and injured, Izuku apologizes to All Might for letting him down, having focused more on helping Shoto than actually trying to defeat him. All Might replies that although Izuku was defeated, he still helped Shoto realize something very important about himself and states that meddling where someone doesn't have to is the essence of being a hero.

Izuku is healed enough by Sakura and Recovery Girl to walk and realizes that his hand has been permanently damaged from overusing his Quirk. Recovery Girl warns Izuku and All Might that she will no longer heal these self-inflicted injuries anymore and insists that they find a new way for Izuku to use One For All.

All Might leads his protégé office and ponders Recovery Girl's suggestion. Izuku interrupts, suggesting that All Might find a new worthy successor because there were other competitors who gave the Sports Festival more effort then he did. All Might agrees that there are a number of incredible talents at the school but then reveals that he was Quirkless as a young man just like Izuku. Izuku is in disbelief that the Number One Hero was once without a power of his own, and All Might tells Izuku he reminds him of his former self. He goes on to praise Izuku because he has exceeded expectations repeatedly and even says that he believes Izuku will do incredible things with One For All one day. Encouraged by his mentor, Izuku promises to do his best and they both return to watching the remainder of the Sports Festival.

And as those two were discussing things on their side, another conversation was about to occur. Endeavor who was about to return to the stands made an unexpected encounter with a certain someone.

Naruto: Yo.

Endeavor: Why are you here, Yellow Gale?

It was Naruto Uzumaki also known as Yellow Gale, the current number 3 Hero. The man who was Endeavor's rival in surpassing All Might. The two of them had their rivalry since they became a Hero. During the Hero Ranking ceremony, sometimes it would be Naruto whom is above a rank and sometimes it would be Endeavor. Though in terms of firepower, the people was convinced that Endeavor was stronger, but in terms of close combat and tactics, the people were convinced that Naruto was better. Endeavor whom knew this was irritated thinking that he was the superior person. So he was not happy to see Naruto here.

Naruto: I need to have a word with you. Or is it too much to ask?

Endeavor: Your son will fight in the next round, should you be here chatting with me?

Naruto: The match won't start for awhile since the stadium is being repaired. So like I said, I want to have a talk with you.

Endeavor: Are you hoping to talk to me about the semi-final match? Since if your son win, he will face off against Shoto. If you're thinking Shoto will lose, then you are solely mistaken. Because Shoto will one day replaced me and fulfill my ambition.

The two of them talk casually like close friends, however there was tension in the air that if any person was there they would feel frightened. Endeavor casually implies that the semi-finals match will be between Shoto and Sora, implying that Sora will definitely win the next match against Tenya Iida. Hearing this, Naruto sigh deeply.

Naruto: Well yes, there's that. But no, I'm not here to talk about that. I want to know your relationship with your son, Shoto, Enji. From what I saw just now, it looks like you and him didn't get along.

Kinda ironic for Naruto to said that since he and Sora didn't really get along as well. But for Naruto and Sora's case is because they never had a proper talk at all, and Naruto wasn't sure how to face Sora head on. And Sora despite his resentment towards his Dad, doesn't mean that he hates him. More like annoyance that Naruto never tried to understand what Sora is feeling.

But for Endeavor's case, Naruto sensed that it was way beyond simply understanding one another. More like pure hatred was coming from Shoto towards Enji. That was the vibe that Naruto had felt when he was accidentally eavesdrop them. Sensing that as well Endeavor click his tongue in disgust.

Endeavor: Tch. That's none of your concern! This is family personnel!

Endeavor spat back at Naruto before walking past him not wanting to discuss the subject any further. Naruto knew that he was standing on a landmine by asking such sensitive questions about family personnel that he shouldn't get involved with, but he sensed that he need to step in no matter what since he felt Endeavor is similar in one way or another.

Naruto: Well, whatever, I'm not here to meddle into your personal affair, you know. All I asked is that you cherish your relationship with your family, or not you'll one day will regret it. It's the same for me when I lost my oldest son, you know.

Naruto said dropping off the topic while also gives a warning to Endeavor. Endeavor stopped walking when he heard Naruto say 'oldest son' and looked back. There he saw Naruto already walking away from him as if his business is finished. Stood alone in a hallway, Endeavor lamented his own actions.

Endeavor:...

(Timeskip)

The matches resume with the next one on one of the second bracket: Sora Uzumaki vs Tenya Iida.

Present Mic: Now's time for the second match of the quarter finals! With both of them from the Hero families, it's a battle of the elites! From the Hero Course, it's Sora Uzumaki!

Sora:..

Sora said as he stepped into the ring with determined face.

Himawari: Do your best, Big Bro.

Himawari shouted from the stands.

Present Mic: Vs— Also from the Hero Course, Tenya Iida!

Tenya too stood into the ring.

Sora: No hard feelings, Iida.

Tenya: Same goes for you, Uzumaki. Let's have a great match.

Tenya(mind): With his clone summoning abilities and wind power, I don't have much options. I need to defeat him before he summons them! Then!

Sora:..

Present Mic: Start!

The bout between Sora and Tenya begins with the former blasting Tenya with Gale Palm. However, with impressive speed, Tenya was able to get around the area and closed in on Sora when he was about to make the Hand sign to summon his clones.

Tenya(mind): I won't give you time to summoned them!

Sarada: Looks like Iida, has figured out in Sora's clones summoning.

Sora: Wind Style; Gale Palm!

Sora instinctively put his hand that was gathering wind onto the ground when Tenya was speeding towards him. The clash in Sora's wind onto the ground was strong enough to cause the smoke to erupt covering all of Sora's body hiding himself from Tenya.

Tenya(mind): Smoke screen?! Is he going to for a surprise attack?

Just as Tenya predicted, but at the same time was out of his prediction. Sora appeared just as Tenya thought he would, but what surprise him was that Sora was going on a frontal attack. Sora raised his palm and goes for another Wind attack, but Tenya evades using a standing long jump and activates his Recipro Burst technique in mid-air.

Ochako: Wow, a standing long jump!

Sora: Guh!

Tenya: Recipro Burst!

Sora is able to evade Tenya's initial roundhouse kick but falls victim to the subsequent attack thanks to Tenya's blinding speed. Sora's face was smashed towards the ground. The force behind Tenya's kick was immense that it created a small crater

Tenya: I have to win it at that time!!

Present Mic: A direct hit!

Sero: He got a pretty hit in!

Kaminari: That kick was way too fast!

Before his engine stall for time, Tenya swiftly carry Sora by the scurf of his shirt. It appear that Sora was recovering from the kick which took 2 seconds, and that 2 seconds prove fatal.

He was thrown out of bounds.

Tenya: I won!

Tenya rejoice for a second that he managed to bring Sora down. That includes everybody in class 1-A.

Jiro: I don't believe it.

Tsuyu: Sora actually lost.

Izuku: No. Not yet!

Sarada: Sora's not beaten yet.

But Izuku and Sarada retort back. Midnight had yet to announce the winner just yet. And it seems that Izuku, Sarada, and Katsuki are the only three that realized that. Because the Sora that was thrown out of bounds suddenly vanished revealing to be a clone.

*Poof*

Tenya: What the?!

Present Mic: Whoa Whoa Whoa! It's a clone! A clone! When did he have time to create one?! I definitely didn't see him create the clones!

Kakashi: He created it inside the smoke screen just now.

Present Mic: I see! The fights not over yet folks! But where is the real body?!

Tenya and the spectator all looked around, but Sora was nowhere to be found. After all it's an open field so there shouldn't be a way to hide oneself. Then suddenly, Tenya heard a chirping sound. He looked up into the air to see Sora and in his palm, to his surprise was not wind but white lightning. Sora smirked since he got Tenya where he wants them.

Sora: Thanks for going all out Iida. Because of that, I can test out my new technique.

Tenya: Since when?!

Kakashi: He propel himself upwards using Gale Palm under the smoke while also making Iida focus his attention on the clone that he created.

Tenya tried to ran off, but his engine had been stall because of Recipro Burst. Unable to move for even a second proved fatal as Sora unleashed his attack which for some reason was white lightning and not Wind.

Sora: Raiton; Thunderclap Arrow!

A thunderbolt fly down the area covering the arena. Tenya was immediately zapped by Sora's attack.

Tenya: Awawawawawawawawawawawa!

Sora's attack brought surprise shock towards everyone in the spectator area Heroes and civilians alike. Sora's quirk was supposed to be able to manipulate wind, so why is he able to create lightning instead. Was he lying about his Quirk? Is he a hybrid that has multiple Quirk? The sound of surprise was everywhere.

Kaminari: Lightning?! But how?! That's just like my attack that I used on him during our fight!

Sarada: I see! So that's how he does it!

Katsuki: That bastards! He definitely took inspiration from Kaminari's attack!

Izuku: He uses Wind pressure and the friction of his movement to create a thunderbolt!

Ochako: Wait, what do you mean?

Izuku: He applied a spark of fire on his already powerful wind pressure on his hand. He uses excessive movement by rubbing both palms like when you tried to heat off when it's too cold. At the same time he applied Wind Pressure on his already heated hand. When Wind Pressure met with a spark of fire, it can create lightning!

Everyone was immediately convinced by Izuku's explanation as they all watched the fight in amazement. Aizawa also explained what Sora had done to assured the spectators that Sora was not doing illegal attack. And so the returned back to the fight where they saw Iida was paralyzed by the thunderbolt that was rained down on him but was still conscious.

Tenya: Awa...awa...awa...!

Tenya was still experiencing the aftermath of Sora's attack. Sora of course had to finish this before Tenya could move, so he created two clones and did his signature Fusha Stream, where he flew towards his opponent at blinding speed.

Sora: Wind Style; Gale Palm!

With his usual Gale Palm, Tenya was pushed out of the arena securing Sora his victory.

Midnight: Iida's out of bounds! Uzumaki advance to the 3rd round!

Present Mic: Uzumaki once again advances into the third round with another surprises in store!

Cheers erupted from the crowd. Sora could've swore he heard Himawari's voice saying things like 'That's my Big Bro' stuff like that. Sora was embarrassed by that but his attention was on Tenya when he saw that Tenya was disappointed that he lost.

Tenya: Brother... I'm sorry...

Sora was declared as the winner and Tenya grudgingly apologize to his brother Tensei.

Sora: I'm sorry... Did I electrocute you too much?

Tenya: No. That was a fair fight. I was immature thinking I had you.

Sora offered his hand and Tenya accepted them and the two smiled and reconcile. Though Tenya's smile was a bit forced since he was upset that he lost which Sora took note of. They left the arena and Sora went to where his classmate is while Tenya tries to contact his brother, Tensei, after his match to discuss his lost. However, Tensei is off on a mission and sends his brother to voice mail. Tensei is searching throughout Hosu City and eventually locates and confronts the Hero Killer: Stain.

Sarada: CHA-NARA!!!!!

Mina: Eek!

In the next match, Sarada scores another quick victory by smashing down the ground and pushing Mina out of bounds with her overwhelming strength.

Midnight: Ashido is out of bounds! Uchiha wins!

Tsuyu and Minoru comment on Sarada's overwhelming strength.

Mineta: She won in an instant again?

Tsuyu: Sarada's super human strength is amazing.

The next fight is the final of the quarter finals. Eijiro Kirishima vs Katsuki Bakugo.

Eijiro: Take this!

Eijiro grazes Katsuki's cheek, cutting it open, and the latter counters with an explosion to Eijiro's side. Eijiro's hardening ability negates Katsuki's attacks, allowing him to draw out the match.

Eijiro: That won't work on me, Explosion Boy!

Sora is shocked to find that Katsuki is on the defensive, being forced to evade Eijiro's flurry of punches.

Present Mic: Bakugo's having a hard time fighting back against Kirishima's fierce attack!

Sora: No matter how simple a Quirk is, if you do it right it could be powerful.

Tenya: Yo, Uzumaki.

Sora: Yo, Iida. So did you manage to contact your brother Ingenium?

Tenya: I called him earlier, but he was working. But I think that was for the best. Even after coming to the finals of the Sport Festival, I still can't say I'm number one. So Sora, in my place, will you please win this?

Sora: ?!

Tenya appears behind Sora. And they casually talk about the aftermath of their battle and Tenya asked Sora to win on Tenya's stead since he already lost to Sora. Sora was surprised by this plead, but nodded his head in confirmation.

Sora: Yes, I will win no matter what.

Katsuki counters Eijiro again, and this time he is able to do some damage despite Eijiro's hardened skin.

Present Mic: Bakugo counters again! What's this? Unlike before, it's working?!

Katsuki: You've been straining to keep your whole body rock-hard this whole time, right? But it looks like with enough rapid attacks, you start falling to pieces.

He surmises that Eijiro's hardening gets weaker with every blow dealt and that his opponent has been straining to keep his entire body hard throughout their match.

Katsuki capitalizes by barraging his opponent with a series of explosions until Eijiro eventually succumbs and falls unconscious.

Katsuki: The finishing blow! Die...!

Eijiro: Guh...!

Katsuki: Well, I understand why you wouldn't want a drawn-out match with me, though.

Midnight: Kirishima is immobilized! Bakugo wins!

Tetsutetsu watches disapprovingly, having cheered on Eijiro throughout the battle. With Katsuki's victory, the final four remaining contestants are Shoto, Sora, Sarada, and Katsuki.

Present Mic: With that vicious carpet-bombing, Bakugo advances to the third round! And that completes the final 4!

Sora: All right then, I'm off.

Shoto: We can finally settle this, Sora Uzumaki.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Shoto Todoroki was rejoicing that he could finally face off against Sora. And the duel of two rivals that were passed down from both parents is finally underway.
